La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gonzales LA

They recently remodeled so I don’t know how it looked like before, but when I walked in it was very clean very pretty very nice and I went before Christmas in the month of December and it smelled like Christmas in there. The lady who took care of me was so nice and friendly and helpful my room had a king bed and a sofa and two big flatscreen TVs. It had shampoo and conditioner, big bottles of dove in the shower already and on the bathroom sink it had two big bottles of dove lotion and dove face wash amazing and it was close to so many food places and shopping.

Rooms are a bit small(in a room with two double beds) but they are under construction so this might change. Walked into the wrong room at first and I will say the upgrade is really nice, from floor to wall color. Staff is beyond helpful and happy, refreshing after a 10 hour drive. I haven't come across a staff member not smiling or happy to assist. Pool is clean with comfy lounge chairs but lacks some shade for parents watching the kiddos

Location was close to everything that we wanted to do. The room was clean and was stocked with everything we needed. I also asked for more towels and the front desk staff happily granted my request. I would stay here again.

This hotel is clean and well maintained. Check in was easy and the clerk was friendly and professional.
The room was very clean, no unpleasant surprises and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast choices were slim but that's pretty standard these days. Best to plan on eating somewhere else if you want a complete breakfast. However I was satisfied with muffins and coffee.
We had a medical appointment in Baton Rouge and were looking for a safe, comfortable place. Overall our stay was pleasant and I would recommend this place to someone wanting to stay in this area.

Nice clean room - great front desk service!

I stayed here for a work convention, check in was easy, rooms were spotless and in decent conditions. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud!!! The phenomenal personality of the manager Calvin, deserves recognition for his generosity and hospitality! We will definitely be back!!

Hotel was clean and there's truck parking across the street. Breakfast in the morning. Beds are comfortable, hotel was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I booked an overnight stay at this hotel with out reading reviews or ratings, which was a huge mistake! We travel quite frequently and have had very good experiences at Laqinta Hotels! The lobby and front desk staff were very nice an accommodating. The first indication that we were in a bad hotel was that the room was stink and musky. Later to realize that the smell was coming from the bed linens, smelling like they had sat wet out of the dryer and put on the bed, just stink. I opened the fridge only to find 2 dead roaches, so we didn't use it. We went out for the New Years event, came in trying to get a little rest my husband goes to take his meds through the night turns on the light and finds roaches crawling everywhere! We both jump up in a panic, shaking our things and check out asap! This was an awful experience, the worst ever. Phadria Taylor

My kids and I had been staying at different hotels due to the hurricane and we all like d this one the best. It was quiet, clean and the pool was open. The staff was helpful and friendly. My only complaint is there was no vending machines and only one place to get ice.

I was having such a bad night traveling with my mom and her dog Sam. Stopped at numerous hotels and either they didn't take pets or required pet deposit to be paid with a card. Not at la quinta. I walked in exhausted, still am writing this that night, I saw they had a pet walk and by how nice the hotel was figured they most definitely would be the same. No they were not the same made my whole night after driving for almost 15 hrs and not much sleep I was almost in tears when she said they could take cash and put my card on file. What a wonderful clean, upscale place. The people were so nice and they even gave Sam some pets on our way up. If you need a great pet friendly hotel I highly recommend la quinta. Wonderful staff. Life savers.

Shout out to Naneka (I hope I spelled it right, I lost the card) at the front desk overnight for being so friendly and helpful! She brought smiles to us after a long trip. Very appreciated.

There was a little bit of cleanliness (in the rooms) issues but otherwise a very friendly and comfortable hotel! Would give 4.5 stars if I could but the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff makes up for any problems we had. We saw 1 small bug inside late at night and one of the fridges had a smell but they said they'd fix it.

Hotel very clean, room comfortable and roomy. I was impressed the minute I walked through door. Customer service was excellent! Mrs. Debbie deserves a raise. Overall great value for the money.

We stayed here for a week and a half while my husband was working in Gonzales. We initially chose it because it was pet friendly for our chihuahua, but found that even without her we would stay here. The staff went above and beyond during our stay making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They greeted us with “Welcome back!” every time we returned and were on a first name basis with our 11 year old daughter. The manager, Atha, was so friendly and courteous! I wish I would’ve gotten the other staff members names so I could list them all here, but I have nothing negative to say about any of them! One night they had fresh popcorn in the lobby, and another night they served fresh baked cookies. The location is convenient to everything in Gonzales, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is tasty (and the lady that runs it is SO sweet!) and the staff is beyond fantastic. When we come to Gonzales, this is where we will stay!

New management is great! Staff was great. Check in went smoothly as well! Front desk clerks Danielle and Calvin were totally awesome and very accommodating!

First off, La Quinta is the most pet friendly hotel we've ever stayed at. Pets use to stay free but they recently changed their policy to $20, which is fine by me and more than fair! Our fur babies go everywhere with us so it's nice to know we can always count on La Quinta to welcome them with open arms (and no strict policies like weight limits, no more than 2 pets & $250 per pet, per night). Plus, the staff at the Gonzales location are so sweet & friendly and it's right across the street from the Tanger Outlet! We will definitely stay there next time we're in town.

I live this hotel it smells so great the manager and staff are wonderful. I recommend this hotel if you are in the Gonzales area. Ms Jamie the manager is awesome. Me and my husband, son and my dog china were very relax

Our half way point to Port of New Orleans before a cruise. Looks just like photos. Easy to find and a great night stay. Well stocked breakfast and good coffee which is hard to find at hotels. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

I had a great experience in my stay great service and front deck clerk is very accommodating plenty of parking for cars but no parking for big trucks theres free wifi free breakfast rooms are clean fresh bed sheets there are all the amenities in the room mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine cable t.v the a.c is cold there is a workout room washer and dryer and everything is walking distance the outlets, restaurants, stores keep up the good work La Quinta Inn 😎🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The same goes for the pool. Staff was super friendly and the included breakfast was surprisingly very good.
