The service was quick. The food was great, nice serving size and their price was competitive. I had jerk chicken, rice and peas with plantains. If you love spicy🌶 their jerk is it.🌶

Food is of good portion and cheap price. The pork jerky is very tasty and a little spicy. The fried chicken is different from American fried chicken, and is also tasty. The girl at the ordering counter is not good at explaining things at all. Not impressed with her. Even dining in dishes come in to-go boxes, which is strange, and shows this place is not remotely interested in creating a good dining experience. But food quality and portion deserve 5 stars.

When I lived nearby, Sunshine became my go-to Jamaican destination... I sampled & enjoyed everything they cooked!

Now that I'm miles away, I stop in infrequently... and tend to order the large jerk chicken.

It's delicious... 5 star delicious.

The best part is....after having my fill as soon as the food is delivered, I then have wonderful jerk chicken to enjoy at home.

I always enjoy my food here. I get the oxtails and my husband gets curry chicken and goat. I live too far to come weekly but I try to make my way here whenever I'm in the area. I recommend this spot bc I haven't been to a restaurant that is better. Peridot Pooh

Found this little Jamaican Restaurant walking around Stamford. The food is great. I wish their would be an update on the menu and price online, but that’s just small matters. I love engaging with the light skin lady with glasses.she Keeps me on my toes. I recommend it to anyone. The price is right, and I don’t mind coming back for more.

When I had surgery and couldn't eat solid foods. I ordered soup from here almost every day. I would ask for just broth, no food. Best soup in the area. I love the red peas soup and Manish water, my favorite.

I've been eating here for years. I love the food!! I have yet to experience bad service and /or nasty food. I always get the jerk chicken, rice and beans, and plantains, and the plantains are to die for!! The prices are affordable and great size of portions as well. ..THE BEST IN GEORGIA!!! I drive 30 minutes and don't mind at all!! ✌🏾&💕.

This is my go to Caribbean restaurant. I have never had a dish I didn’t enjoy and I’ve had several. The red pea soup, the jerk port, and the curry goat are my favorites. I also really enjoy the oxtails. Service is good and the quality of the meal never disappoints!

Good food and customer service. I ordered the red snapper dinner and it was delicious. The price matches what you get. Good food cost a little more but it sure was worth it. The portions were plentiful and enough to eat again. They give you enough to enjoy your meal and then some for when you wish you had some more😁😂 I have to go back and try it now that I eat mostly plant based. I'm pretty sure it will still be good because that chef knows how to season and cook really well. Would definitely recommend.

I love this place. I come here all the time. I don’t eat meat and she always accommodates me for it! The food is so good, it’s the only place I go to get my African food. And the lady is so generous!

This place will have your taste buds dancing with joy! The food was absolutely delicious and it is great quality authentic food! I ordered the jerk Chicken wing dinner with the beans and rice with the cabbage! All cooked to perfection! I had to call them after leaving to tell them to keep up the good work! Highly recommend this place!

Great place for food folks, they fully respect Covid protocols which is secondary from the cuisine quality. The curry goat and oxtail dinners are to die for and very flavorful with both sauces being thick, rich with the right amount of heat. Also the only place I found that gives you a dinner combo of both Curry Goat and Oxtail samples, and other types too for $16.50. Full platters with lots of food as well so I am a happy camper.

Depending if you order a small or large plate and depending on what's included, the prices may vary. But I ordered the stewed chicken, rice and peas, and steamed cabbage. I got full very quick with half a plate left over. Very delicious. Those plaintains were good, too. Next time, I'm going for the oxtails.

Definitely a ues for me with a few laughs authentic! Friendly i love love love both of the cashiers just angels. Family friendly they are not doing dine in right now but call ahead or order once you arrive they welcome you. Top of my list for Jamaican food.

I ordered catering for my bday celebration and picked up on Saturday 13-March21. My entire order was perfect down to the cabbage. When I get homesick and want a taste of home, this is where I'm going!! Thank you Sunshine staff and owner I will be back!!

So I decided to eat a couple times here before leaving a review because I know sometimes restaurants can be a hit or miss. Definitely well deserved of this 5 star rating. I’m Jamaican and I enjoy cooking at home believe me when I say I cook almost every day BUT when I don’t feel like cooking and I’m not able to drive the extra mile or two to go to my friend’s restaurant on convington Hwy , this spot is my go to spot for authentic Jamaican cuisine
