Horse Plus Humane Society

Being in the UK, I love watching the episodes on You tube, where horses are all individually accessed, for their needs and giver the last act of kindness it they need it and rehabbed and find new homes. Sent a few horse lyx out to them as well as other things to help them. They deserve all the praise they can get.

I have researched and been a viewer for over 2 years now. This is an awesome rescue facility. They are also helping others get up and running all over the country.
If you question stuff, please do your research BEFORE you trash anything on any platform. This is the good guys helping animals.

This is a great place, the staff are amazing, it's clean and the animals are well taken care of.

I have been at sales in Cookeville Tennessee and have seen these people take in so many horses from there. I support and love this place. I am doing a school report on them so more people know about the great things they do. I am hoping if more people know about them then they will donate or call when they see something wrong. Thank you horse plus for everything you do for these animals.

Have not been here, however I follow them online and their work is much needed for these amazing and often suffering horses and animals. These people are angels. Makes me so happy they have this Humane Society and are so active in the welfare of these sweet souls who deserve so much more than previous owners gave them. I would volunteer my time and efforts to thier cause, if I lived closer and I consider supporting them in any way I can currently. These folks deserve much kudos and respect for what they do on a daily and ongoing basis!!

They are very nice and helpful people. I adopted 2 minis yesterday. They were very helpful and everyone there loved their job, nothing but smiles. They do everything they can for the horses and are very honest about level of training the horse has or any issues. It's great to see neglected animals getting great care and finding a forever home.

I had the misfortune to be within shouting distance of a slaughter facility. The horses screamed in total terror and pain. It is a sound I will never forget. Thank you Horse Plus humane society for saving as many as possible.

I didn't actually go there physically. I looked up the address so I could send the horses 🐎 some gifts. I am a monthly supporter but I ordered like 20 fly masks, new brushes, head lamps for the vet staff to see better during surgeries. Also a couple new shedding tools plus a few more goodies. This organization cares for the unwanted, and the forgotten animal as well as owner surrender's when caring for their animals has become a physical or financial burden. Horse Plus will give these beautiful animals the care and training they need to place them in their new forever home. They also care for unwanted dogs and cats and any other animal that is brought to the farm. Always have great experiences with horse plus. My friends and I have adopted multiple horses from them along with spent many hours volunteering with them! I love and respect what they do.

Great rescue! Actually affordable adoption fee! Wonderful volunteers! They save horses and other animals from slaughter/off the track and abuse/neglect cases and do everything they can to get them back to health and the ones they can’t save they make sure that they at least know they are loved and are comfortable while they pass. I got my first horse recently from them and I am in love with him. I am forever grateful to them for saving my horse and 17 of his buddies from that horrible place he came from. If anyone is looking to get a horse I always tell them to check this place out first before spending a small fortune on a different horse. Mine is a purebred American spotted saddle horse and he is my unicorn. Please check this rescue out before any others!!!

HorsePlusHumane are warriors in the fight to save horses from slaughter and are also working hard to get laws changed at the state level. A very well run organization where I am pleased to donate to the cause. Consider donating if you love horses and want laws to be changed to protect them from cruelty and abuse. You can also adopt rescued horses from them that have been given a second chance for life.

I just want to think them for what they do. I rescued a horse 2 weeks ago from the cook for sale barn keep up the good work

A beautiful organization that loves helping all animals especially horses. You can't find a kinder organization out there that helps horses and other animals, and other organizations that do the same. It is a very heartwarming experience and educational experience to watch this organization save horses on YouTube. I am truly thankful for this organization, they are truly remarkable.

I have been a Supporter for several years and am very impressed how they care for the animals they get! It is expensive to care for healthy horses let alone ones that have very special needs! That is why they need donations, I automatically donate monthly, it is only a few bucks, but if everyone did that they could help many more animals!

Very nice people. I surrendered two puppies to them. They told me if they can't find them homes they would take them to Nashville where they have a chance of being adopted there.
