Anna Maria Island Creamery and Bakery

Another dessert shop to try on our trip. The cakes and cheese cakes are great. We tried the gelato and that was great. Saw the chocolate display and will try next time.

I was looking for a treat, not sure what to have when I spotted the chocolates. I struck gold! I bought a few to try and immediately had gone back in to get more. These gourmet chocolates satisfied the need for a treat without being overly filling or too sweet. And I got to bring some home with me. Have returned every time I’m in the area.

I love love love this place! Their desserts were exceptionally delicious and their caramel iced latte was soooo good!! I definitely recommend stopping here!

Amazing place and the ice cream is good. The kids helping to serve are really nice, and they always have an smile. I do recommend this place

The ice cream was one of the best. My husband lover butter pecan & I have to say it was the best I have ever tasted. I chose white chocolate raspberry. It was a close second. This place is not to b missed.

Great little ice cream place on the North End of the island. They have soft serve, gelato, and even Frozen Custard. What's cool though is they also have a variety of other baked goods and cheesecakes as well. At the end of the counter was some Gourmet chocolates and Truffles and macarons. Nice place to stop by and cool off at the end of a beach day.

Gelato was very tasty. We ordered triple chocolate death and salted caramel. Portion size was good for a snack.

We also ordered three chocolates which were also good: strawberry chocolate, hazelnut dark chocolate, and sea salt caramel. All were good, but the caramel had a flavor similar to anise (black licorice). No complaints but just a warning if you are sensitive to this flavor, like my wife is, so you can try to avoid it.

This place is the best! Best ice cream I have ever had! Key lime pie gelato is just incredible! Real & authentic! Awesome selection and super friendly staff! Well located right next to the beach...Coming back!

Update: Just visited the shop again after 6 months. Tried multiple flavors, bought macarons "to go", super friendly staff and top quality product!
They are now even hosting local culinary tours, met the group today.
We´re staying for a week and will keep coming back for sure!

We came here for gelato and left with a sampling because everything looked so good. The peanut butter layered brownie was to die for - by far my favorite. The sorbet was amazing (flavors watermelon and passion fruit). And although we went for the gelato, that took 3rd place for me between the various items we bought. I will say, across all the little goodies we tried, the textures and flavors are *there*. I think we found our go-to dessert spot here on AMI.

Great variety of superior quality ice cream and friendly service. Bakery section is mouthwatering too.
Just can't understand the bad reviews, specially the ones regarding flavor and price.

I’ve never had smoother, lighter ice cream. The best mint-chocolate-chip I’ve ever had! And how cool and tasty are those truffles!? A great gift to bring back from your AMI trip.

My family and I come down here about twice a year for vacation and this is the 1st place we hit after the 15 hour drive from VA. The manager, Shea, was as sweet as the desserts! She even gave our littlest a small cup of gelato on the house when she was being fussy. Can't wait to be back!!!

My husband tried 4 ice cream flavors and I had 2 of the sorbet. Really good! Will be going back again during our week on AMI.

In my 58 years on this earth, this was one of the best ice cream shops I've been to. There was something for everyone's palette, creamy, rich and delicious! It was so relaxing to sure outside and enjoy! Thank you!!!

Great place to stop on hot day!! Great ice cream and one of the best chocolates that I tried!! Would recommend everyone to stop by this place. Also they have an fresh squeezed orange juice which is amazing!! The staff is very friendly!!

Great place. And there was a young man behind the counter last night that was so gracious to serve us at 8:59 while he was obviously hoping to close at 9:00. But everything with a smile and gratitude. This is our new go to place!
