Me and my family needed a hotel to stay near bush gardens it was close to everything with my two favorite restaurants near it.
I looked at the reviews to base on us going here and it is an awesome hotel! I love all the staff especially the front desk she booked us in and was so kind and friendly.
We enjoyed the pool even had it to our selfs a few times.
The temperature was perfect and it was nice and clean.
They also have free continental breakfast it was like being at a buffet plentiful to choose from also very good.
I enjoy the eggs sausage, ham, and waffles with orange juice and delicious coffee.
They have all different kinds to choose from.
The lady made sure to keep everything full so nothing would run out between Breakfast hours.
She was very kind and friendly as well.
We will be coming back soon!
Thank you for a wonderful experience at your hotel.

We’ve only had pleasant experiences at this Sleep Inn. Andre H. and his staff (housekeeping, kitchen, front desk) were friendly, professional, and accommodating. The room was clean, beds comfy, and breakfast was pretty good. The initial room we were given was a bit stuffy and a little musty. We figured the AC unit needed to be serviced bc it didn’t seem like it was dehumidifying the room as well as it should. Andre was gracious enough to give us another room. I’m just thankful they had available rooms. Anytime we come to Williamsburg for my son’s soccer tournaments, we will stay here. I believe they will always try their very best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

It is within a 10 minute drive of both colonial williamsburg and busch gardens. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast bar is good as well. There are many options for food and shopping nearby as well.

So there a ton of reviews on this place which made me hesitant. But went with it anyway. Everything was just fine. We stayed for one night and Andre checked my wife and myself in and was an absolute awesome guy. Wished me a happy early birthday and was glad we were there. Very friendly and professional. Same goes for the gentleman that assisted us with check out. I give it four stars because the hotel is older and could use some money to spruce things up. But everyone was very nice and courteous. Plenty of parking and restaurants near by. Rooms are totally fine for a night or two. Again, staff was great, I would just recommend springing for some updates and maybe change the color scheme of brown and green. Would stay again.

Update *** changed to 5 stars because it’s just decor. Who cares really?

My husband and myself are actually locals and having work done on our house, necessitating our moving out with our two dogs for a few days. I asked about an early check in and was accommodated with a very early one that made my day a lot smoother, and I'm very grateful. The room is smallish, quite adequate and very clean with a soft king bed. The bathroom has an amazing big jetted tub! The hotel itself is set back from the busier road and there is a nice quiet road with sidewalks for dog walking. I highly recommend, especially for the reasonable cost.

Fantastic experience overall. My girlfriend and I came to stay for a weekend at Busch Gardens. The hotel was a great option in terms of proximity and cost. For a two star the amenities were fantastic and plenty for any daily needs. Staff at the front desk were so polite and helpful. They gave suggestions where things could be purchased if needed in the middle of the night and accommodated with extra towels and pillows. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Andre and Amy are the stars of the show here. The way they have treated me have turned what would have just been a good hotel experience into an AMAZING hotel experience. EVERY time I walk in and one of them is at the desk, they address me BY NAME, genuinely seem to care about how I am doing and my stay at the hotel. With my work I have stayed in MANY hotels. As far as the people that I have dealt with here, this has been one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.

As far as the hotel itself, for a mid range hotel this definitely gets the job done. It is not a brand new property however it has been updated and most importantly it is C L E A N!!!! I have stayed in higher end hotels before that are not as clean as this one and more importantly don't match the level of personal service here. The rates here are VERY reasonable for what you get and if you are coming to Williamsburg to see the tourist attractions here, it is VERY close to the historic parts of town. Also as a fitness buff, I am very happy with the quality of the equipment they have. The treadmill reaches up to 10 MPH which allows me to exercise at an all out intensity and the elliptical is a Natulis brand which is one of the top in that industry. I also like the exercise bike as it is more of a professional model that allows riding both sitting and standing. There is also an assortment of weights however I have not started strength training yet. Also the pool here is nice. The only thing I would like to see changed is having the fitness center 24 hours as it closes at 11PM.

The breakfast. For a mid range hotel is far above average. I patronize another sleep inn on a very regular basis with my job (princeton WV) and they don't have near the breakfast offerings this hotel does. This hotel (williamsburg) has a hot breakfast with delicious hot sausage as well as a wide assortment of bread and cereals so I am able to get full here in the morning without having to eat out after eating the hotel breakfast. This saves me time and money.

The hotel has ample parking and several decent restaurants near by so if you want to walk to get lunch or dinner you can. There also is a nice OTIS elevator here so if you have issues walking stairs, you can get an upper level room here without having to worry.

PROS:
- STAFF!! Andre and Amy and everyone else I have dealt with here has been AWESOME
-CLEAN! the rooms are SPOTLESS
- Location Convenient to the major attractions of Williamsburg and walking distance to restaurants
- QUIET! the building is well insulated and you don't hear outside noice
- Comfortable Beds. As with every sleep inn I have stayed in, I am very happy with the quality of the bedding
- better breakfast than other sleep inns I have stayed in
- VERY nice exercise room
- Microwave and refrigerator in room. If you extended stay here you can store and prepare food
- Did I say they have a VERY nice Exercise room?

Cons:
There are only 2 things I can think of

1. the exercise room is not 24 hours.
2. The internet can be a little slow at times however, that is more due to the ISP offering in the area and not so much the hotels fault.

Other than that, I can not think of anything this hotel could do better. This could be either a pro or a con depending on your preference but bathtubs don't seem to be available in non ADA rooms however this seems to be the trend with ALL modern hotels only offering a stand up shower, not just specific to this property. As far as Sleep Inn goes, this is probably the best one I have ever stayed at.

IN CONCLUSION, I HIGHLY recommend this hotel as this is definitely one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a LONG time and a BIG part of that is because of the staff here. ESPECIALLY Andre and Amy. If you read this, you two are amazing. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT STAYING IN THIS HOTEL! DO IT! For the price you pay, the friendliness of the people here alone are MORE than worth it!! If I return to Williamsburg again, I WILL STAY AGAIN.

We were looking for somewhere affordable close to Busch Gardens. Everything here was perfect. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Only odd thing is there's only one trash can in the room, none in the bathroom. I would recommend to hotel management that they spring for a second can, lol. Bathroom is small, but again, it's not a luxury joint. Breakfast is the usual for these chains, nothing gourmet but convenient and tasty enough. There are many options very close by if you want something nicer. All in all, I would definitely stay here next time we come to BGW.

The hotel was very clean. My room was very comfortable and clean. Everything in the room worked properly. The refrigerator even had a separate freezer with it. Breakfast was good plenty of options. Nothing hot but that's because of COVID. There was microwave breakfast burritos, and you could toast waffles. Staff were very polite and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it, from the start Andre at the front desk was so friendly my mom & I walked up to the room to check it out while my dad got the bags ready and when we came back down he was asking us questions to make sure the room met our expectations and really just going out of his way to be friendly and start a conversation. we were able to ask him about dinner & fishing recommendations and he gave us great answers and acted liked he really cared. Breakfast was fresh every morning we had one male & two different females through out the week cooking, and the food was always good and fresh - it’s usually eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, and plenty of deserts! The rooms were clean and the cleaners always did a good job and we’re polite any time we needed something they made sure to get it for us, we were about to head out @ 6 am & the lady who had made breakfast let us come in before breakfast was to be served be cause she knew we had a long trip, I really recommend staying here if you’re in the area. It’s right behind Golden Corral & Rocco’s steakhouse and both were delicious. We will definitely be coming back next year!!

I booked this room for one night for my parents, and they had a wonderful stay! They said the beds were super comfortable and that the room was beautiful and clean. When they had one minor issue, they brought it to Andre's attention and said that he was amazing and professional. Thanks Andre, for taking care of my parents! We'll definitely be staying here next time we're in the area!

Well so far my first night was great. Once I got my room I did a wipe down and walk through, my only problem was the pet hair in the chair in my room. My disinfectant wipes were clean so the housekeepers 5 stars for y’all. The front desk Andrew he was very professional and about his job. I feel like your approach is very important to each other. This is the beginning of my second day stay. I do agree there is some upgrading do, but it’s quite, serene, clean grounds being pet friendly, the Facility is well kept. There Is room for improvements Pool was open and clean COVID-19 guidelines they are following that to a T. Signs are up for masks and any other hotel guidelines. The reviews are a great help. I travel a lot so I will voice my options more often. Hospitality’s Field deserves Better and good exposure.

Stayed for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The staff was very hospitable Andre was super helpful and took extra care in making us feel welcome. A special thanks is in order for making accommodations for our motorcycle in the parking lot. A++ The breakfast was good and the hotel was close to many attractions.

I am so glad I picked this place! I was going to stay at the Raddison but thought about it and said I didn't want to spend almost $500 on a room. I searched and found this hotel. I am sure glad I did! My girlfriend and I were celebrating 4 years together and we center our anniversary around history. Well we also wanted to go to Busch Gardens, too! I looked at the distance and it was perfect. We walked in the door and everyone was so kind. They let us check in early, which allowed us to grab lunch without burden. There are some good shops near by, so if you like to shop, some good restaurants near if you are like me and like to eat. The breakfast was good enough to get the day started. I forgot to get the guy's name... but the desk attendant at night was super nice! He would talk to us like we were old friends instead of just customers. The gym was adequate for our stay and next time we will be using the indoor pool. If we get to come next year, I will definitely stay here again!

Room was adequate for three. Andre helped at the front desk with nearby activities and directions. Friendly and attentive staff. Nearby to some activities. Breakfast was appetizing.

Stayed at the Sleep Inn for 3 nights. Andre at the front desk was really nice. Have no complaints. Room was clean. It is close to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown and Busch Gardens (which is what we came down here for), and is also close to a lot of restaurants and a grocery store. Saw a previous review about the WiFi being slow, but my wife and I didn't have any issues.
Breakfast was good, it included: make your own waffles, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and fresh fruit. Coffee and tea is available 24/7 in the breakfast area. The pool was good, it's 3-5 feet, they have towels you can use near the pool so you don't need to bring your own.

First off, let me say that I had no idea where to find a decent hotel to stay for my weekend in Williamsburg, Va. I was traveling with Ike and Jax -my dogs. I stopped at the Sleep Inn and walked in and was greeted right away. The guy at the front, Andre, was very polite and answered all my questions. He gave me my room, explained the pet policy, and away I went. I slept like a baby. The room was fresh, the bathroom was clean, and the breakfast was good. My pups enjoyed their stay as well. I didn’t get a chance to check out the pool but I will be returning in November for a family reunion and most definitely will stay here. I felt welcomed and my pups were too! Andre H. made my stay pleasant and had great jokes to tell. If I was local, I would hire him to work for me! What a great hotel!
