I have several properties through FID home warranty that South County Plumbing has serviced for years. I’m an out -of- state property owner and having the comfort of knowing that I can always rely on South County Pluming never disappoints. The professionalism, honesty that I receive from Anna outstanding from the time I book the appointment, the quick response to service both warranty related repairs and or plumbing repairs not covered by their warranty policy. This company has been a life saver, especially in an emergency situation. Thank you to Kevin who takes his to follow up with a call after the service is completed.
South County Plumbing is one company that is honest, has fair pricing that can’t be beat. The comfort of knowing that I’m not be talked into all kinds of upgrades / repairs, especially when I live in another state. Thank and five star service!

Please disregard the negative comments! This company was outstanding in working with my home warranty for the necessary coverage on a major leak in wall and water heater repair. The warranty wanted to deny the entire claim but this company went to bat for my family saving us *hundreds* of dollars for the repair. The warranty dictates what the plumber can or can not repair. It is not the plumber’s fault when a repair can be made or the pricing because again, the plumber’s prices are dictated by the warranty company. South County Plumbing was very fair, quick to repair, and very professional through the entire process.

I used their service when referred by Fidelity Home Warrant.
Kevin was very prompt on giving call at 8 am and letting me know when his technician (Joe) will be coming in. Joe knows his job well and he identified water line leakage issue in less than a minute , replaced the line and done with job in 15 minutes. Very clean and professional.

He didn't stop there, but speculated if it has to do with water pressure as these issues are not common. He went and checked water pressure and found PVR has an issue and it is no more regulating water pressure. He and Kevin co-ordinated with warranty company and got approval for PVR replacement, got part from their inventory store and replaced it. Joe found issue with cartridge too caused by high water pressure. Kevin jumped in and got those cartridge in no time and replaced them. Both Joe and Kevin went above and beyond and helped us resolve the problem in no time. I really appreciate your efforts guy. I know whom to call for my plumbing needs going forward! Thanks.

My Home Warranty company assigned these people. They installed water heater 2.5 years back. It started leaking. My Home Warranty Company sent them again. They charged another $700 from me again and installed another water heater. They told me Code Inspection will be done and they will give me document in a week so that I can schedule inspection. Money was already paid for inspection. This company never gave me that form to call city for inspection. My phone calls and text messages are never answered. I don’t know why Fidelity still uses them. Fidelity said I have to deal with South County, but they don’t answer phone calls nor respond to any messages. I want to give them zero rating, if I can.

So I filed a claim with my Home Warranty provider, so I didn't have a choice in plumber. I was told that they would come between 8-10am, well 10 rolls around and guess what no one has shown up. I call them, and ask what was going on, they respond with "Oh I meant to call you, we had a late start. Plumber just left 5 minutes ago" So much for that 8-10 am window. Then I am told that the faucet has malfunctioned and it needs replacing. At no point in time did he spend more than a couple of seconds at looking at the faucet or mention that there was a part missing. He filed with the home warranty that the faucet was missing parts, so the claim has been denied.

Save yourself some time and do not use this company

OMG, I dreaded calling this plumber assigned to us by Home Protection Insurance for repair of our tub since I read so many negative reviews. I called for 3 days with no response. They don't even have a business-like greeting on their telephone, actually, no greeting. They don't even have a business location, only their house. Well, the insurance company will have to reassign us again. This is the second plumber who flakes out, the other one from Santa Cruz stood us up for an appointment then hung up on me when I called again. No wonder contractors have such a negative reputation, with dummies like these!

If you are assigned to them for your home warranty, ask to be assigned to someone else! We have been assigned this company twice for issues related to our home warranty. On both occasions, we were left in the dark on when they would be coming. One of the calls was an emergency (our water heater burst and was leaking all over the house), and it took them >24 hours to send someone over despite our request that this be a rush. We had to call their office to ask when we could get an updated arrival time, but they would never answer the phone. If I was the owner reading these reviews, I would be horrified at what my customers are writing about this company.

Working through my home warranty company, the owner came out and after 5 days and several phone calls/messages still no response. I asked why they use this contractor and I was told they'd note the complaint. To make matters worse, their message ends with "have a blessed day" which one would presume this may be a Christian company. Well, I'm thinking not.... WWJD....As noted in another review, I'd give them 0 stars if that was an option. Beware with this plumbing contractor...if you have a warranty make sure this isn't your company.

I agree with the rest below, should have zero stars. Our upstairs sink valve would not open for hot water only. Cold worked fine. Requested to have an angle stop valve and faucet supply hose replaced on an upstairs bathroom sink. Tech showed up and while changing out the valve and hose, he broke my faucet so it now leaked from the faucet. There was no leak before he arrived. He turned off both hot and cold so we had no water at all and couldn't use the sink. He went to leave and my wife asked what would happen next. He told her he "didn't know if he could find the part to fix the faucet at all". My wife was concerned as now we had no water and he told her "someone will call you within a week or two" and was quite rude. Completely unacceptable.
This service was through my home warranty company so we complained through them. They contacted South County Plumbing were told lies. South County told them the repair was all complete and and that I must have broken the faucet. My response to that was that the faucet had cold water and wasn't leaking when they arrived. When he left we had no water and a leaking faucet.
Completely incompetent and rude on top of it. If you value your home, don't use this company.

They left my bathroom half-way done and never picked my call again. I have to clean up the mess by myself after they vanished for 6 days. No voicemail, don't return calls and their plumbing guy just hang up my call. And the Fidelity National Home Warranty still uses them. I would like to give 0 star if the system allows.

Showed up in my driveway. I asked him to move. Told me he was the plumber so he won't. Home warranty service uses them. Supposed to show up between 8 and 10 am. Still waiting. No call or return call. Do not use this company! 0 stars

If there was a way to give ZERO stars I would do that for this company. Unethical business practices are the norm with this company. They came out and awarded me with a huge bill for the work and then caused a leak in my kitchen ceiling as a result of their shoddy work. I then had to call another vendor and spend $1500 to have their mistake and poor craftsmanship fixed. Do not do business with this company they are extremely shady.

This company is unresponsive
They won’t answer my calls
You can’t even leave a voicemail
They’re so unprofessional
If I could give them negative stars I would

They did not return to complete the job. They do not answer their phone or return phone messages.
