This restaurant in the heart of Amish was very good. THIS IS A CASH OR CHECK ONLY establishment. The food and milkshake were delicious and the bread was phenomenal! Small place, very busy, but worth it.

Our first time here and it definitely won't be our last! Service was friendly and fast. Restaurant is clean. The food was absolutely outstanding. We both had the special open faced roast beef sandwich on fresh homemade bread and if I didn't know better I'd think my grandma had made it. We had a slice of custard pie and the brown bag apple pie which is easily the best apple pie I've ever had. I cannot recommend enough! 10/10

Nearly perfect country diner vibe and food. The people are very friendly and helpful. The food is classic comfort food and excellent. The portions are generous but not absurd. You won't have room for dessert but get pie anyway. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant is casual. I would definitely go back.

Favorite stop for food in Berlin. The trail bologna with swiss cheese is a must try. The noodles over mashed potatoes are another favorite. Pies are yummy if you have room after lunch! Service is always great. May run into a wait at times and remember to bring cash or check for payment, no cards. With low prices and great food though, it's worth the stop!

No buffet but lots of delicious choices on the menu. Breakfast and lunch/dinner choices. We stopped in several times on our trip. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Amish country. Wonderful service from friendly staff. Even if there was a line it moved fast for us.

How can you visit Amish Country and not stop here for lunch.

The trail bologna is awesome and so is anything else we have tried.

Lines can be long at times and that should tell you something about the food. It’s good.

It's hard to sit in this place, so plan ahead! But the crowd moves fast. Food also gets served fast. This was a very delicious grub after a long drive from PA. My country steak was insanely good (and I am not a fan of gravy at all)! The sides of coleslaw and hashbrowns were also delicious. My wife's grilled chicken with mashed potatoes was some of the best she's ever had, she said. The grilled chicken was extremely juicy and had a lovely grilled flavor to it. Waitress girls were very hospitable and nice, and made me feel like I am eating in a family restaurant. If you sit at the bar, expect your butt to get a bit sore lol
A few things I'd like to note that made this experience almost a 4 star one but I kept it at 5: bread that we got served was handled by servers with their bare hands after touching other things behind the counter. An apple cake that we ordered was good but heated up in a microwave :( I understand that it's done for efficiency and speed due to the amount of people coming through, but I'd expect more patience and thoroughness in heating up and serving their delicious and very much praised pies. That pie would be more delicious heated up in the oven.
Overall a great experience. I've been trying to get to B&W for quite some time and we made it a stop on the way home to Michigan on our road trip despite this detour adding a couple of hours to our driving.

Really good food. Everything from service to food was good. Really enjoyed a home cooked meal. Older dinner like environment, but the food and quality it the best.

Boyd & Wurthman is a wonderful place to visit if you are in Berlin, Ohio for a meal...and worth the wait! While there are almost always lines, they go fast! You know it's good too if there are lots of regulars. Not sure what to order? Ask someone else waiting in line or sitting next to you if you sit at the counter. This was our first visit and everyone was eager to recommend their favorite. One couple had driven 1.5 hours just for the roast beef, mashed potatoes and green beans. Many comment on how their favorite reminds them of a dish a beloved family member used to make. Don't forget to try a homemade dessert or take a slice home with you! The apple crumble warmed up is delicious! All staff were friendly, speedy and the crowd all seem happy to be there, making it an inviting positive experience for all and really inexpensive!

It's a no frills, diner type atmosphere, with great comfort food staples. There is usually a wait to get in but the line moves fast. I had the pot roast sandwich with mash potatoes and it was delicious! Finished lunch off with a slice of peanut butter pie that was fantastic. The service was super fast and friendly. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

This is a little Amish diner that has very fresh salads and you can't go there and not get one of their pies. I was going to give the food for stars because the steak was boiled and I don't like boiled steak but everything was very fresh.

Great diner, can be busy at times. I had the house special buger with hashbrowns with a side of "dandelion gravy" had to give it a try. Everything I had was tasty, except drum roll the "dandelion gravy". I have been all over the world and tasted a lots of things. I actually like some kimichis. The "dandelion gravy" seemed to be all the buzz in the line and people we ordering inside and taking some home. It may be an acquired taste, but my first taste reminded me of the smell of a horse stall. The smell of horse stalls is unmistakable to me. That is what I was catching tastes of while trying the gravy. Undeterred, I had several more scoops to see if I could come around to it. It's nothing I would order again. It's okay at best. I couldn't get pass the horse stall smell as a flavor. My wife had the fried ham dinner. I had the NY style cheesecake with strawberries on top she had the fresh strawberry pie. The dessert was also very good. I had some of her ham, and it was good.

A cozy and authentic Amish restaurant in the heart of Berlin Ohio serving the best homemade food and desserts. You can’t visit this place and not feel nostalgic and warm while enjoying the green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, eggs, pies,… nothing disappoints. We make the long drive and always look forward to having a meal here. If you happen to see a line or need to wait, it’s well worth it!

This place has always been a favorite! Always delicious food! My favorite are the homemade desserts! Best peach pie I have ever had, served during summer months, and the Date nut pudding is amazing! The name doesn’t sound the most appetizing, but I promise you that it’s soooo good!!!

Had to stop. One of the top rated restaurant's in the area. Not the best and not the worst either. Stop if your there but I probably wouldn't make the trip just for this.

Stopped in here for some good old, American diner-style food. We weren't disappointed! Our server was wonderful: so professional and kind to us! We also grabbed the blackberry cobbler with ice cream on top, and my husband couldn't stop raving about it! Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed!!
