I love Chestnut Ridge Sewing. The people are so nice and very cooperative. I wish I had a place like this in my town of Palm Bay Florida. I make sure to schedule a few classes when I’m in town with my relatives. We have such a good time at the classes and it’s so much fun to shop there. Dawn, you’re the best. Thanks for accommodating me when I’m there in your shop.

I first went to Chestnut Ridge over the summer when my sewing machine gave up the ghost in the middle of my daughter's 4-H quilting project. Kari was amazing and helped us select the perfect new Bernina machine for us. I stopped in during their anniversary sale to pick up a few accessories and was again greeted with excellent customer care. Most recently, I shopped during their Black Friday event. I went in specifically to take advantage of the 25% off Bernina accessories as I wanted to pick up the BSR and to pick up some material for the backing of my current quilt project. Kathy greeted me from the cutting table and was absolutely phenomenal through my entire time at the store today. I have been so pleased with each of my trips to the store. The customer service has been exceptional. I highly recommend Chestnut Ridge.

Easy to find right outside of Berlin, this perfect little quilt store that offers a lot of services and expertise in all areas of quilting/sewing/and embroidery. The classes that are taught are first rate and you always get the help you need to be successful and have a stunning creation. I highly recommend them for all your needs and be sure to take a class or two, because there is always something new and fun going on here!

I was told that Chestnut Ridge Sewing could service my old Featherweight machine. So I took it to them. I was very impressed when I walked into their store for the first time. Wow! What a slick operation. So professional. Every make and model of Bernina machines on display, new and refurbished, lots of patterns, fabrics and unique tools and items that you don't find anywhere else, samples of hand sewn articles, a display area where they sell handmade sewing tables, a beautiful room for classes....and the area where they service the machines was absolutely top notch! They gave me a time frame when my machine would be done and a rough estimate of the cost. I couldn't believe the reasonable price when they said it would be half of the original estimate. And they finished servicing my machine a week or two earlier than the time frame they gave. I will definitely be back when I need more service; and of course, I will recommend them to anyone who sews. THANK YOU CHESTNUT RIDGE!

Recently, I broke a needle in my 880 and couldn't get the shaft of the needle out. My husband and I drove about 2 hours to Chestnut Ridge Sewing. I expected to leave my machine and come back in a few weeks to pick it up. Instead, Mike fixed the problem right there and then! We were so happy! This is just one of the many reasons that Chestnut Ridge is a super Bernina dealer! Top-notch products and service are great, but it's the staff that make it wonderful!

I highly recommend the classes at Chestnut Ridge. They have been fun as well as great projects.
The store is full service, including sewing machine sales and service. Dawn, Mike and staff work hard to bring the latest in sewing products, notions and fabric.
I love the large staff. There’s always someone knowledgeable and available to help me. I don’t have to go hunting someone.

I am very satisfied with the service I received. They were very prompt and reasonable in their pricing. I purchased a sewing cabinet from them and found the workmanship to be so much better than other advertised cabinets and much better made. They repaired my mother's 50 some year old Bernina machine. I can not say enough good things about this store. I will not go anywhere else for future sewing products.

This was an excellent experience. Although the prep was longer than stated, the instructor eliminated any tensions. Carol was very calming, and inspiring as she helped everyone construct their bags. Definitely would make the two hour drive to take another class.

This shop is the absolute best sewing place I have ever been to! The wonderful staff and the great customers are fantastic. I can’t wait until the next time I will be able to make the 2 hour trip back there!
Everyone is so very friendly and helpful, even though I knew none of them before the retreat, I was treated like they knew me forever!

It's always a pleasure to attend a class or a retreat at Chestnut Ridge. The advantage of having an experienced person to help with answers is very helpful. Love my bag and plan on other classes.

What Great Place to go and learn. I have been going there for the last 5 years or more. Since Dawn took over the classes and Service has improved 100%. The Staff is very helpful in instructions and making sure your projects turn out Great! I Live in Las Vegas but I'm in Ohio for about 6 or more weeks every summer and I always have my machine serviced and take as many classes as I can. I just Love Chesnut Ridge Sewing.

I needed to cancel from a 3 day non refundable Retreat with an out of town teacher the day before the Retreat started due to a pressing family issue. I did not provide details of my reason for cancelling. I did not ask for or expect any refund. To my surprise, Chestnut Ridge Sewing refunded my full tuition because they found someone to fill the slot. They had no obligation to refund this tuition especially for such a late cancellation.
This is the type customer service that will make Chestnut Ridge Sewing a favorite fabric shop for me! Highly recommend!

Anne Crabbs was the attendee. I enjoyed the class led by Rhoda. She went at a good pace so that everyone could stay together. She is easy to understand and she makes sure she answers everyone if they need help. I look forward to the next class.

I had an older Bernina that we purchased from a local shop here in the Columbus area and a Bernette serger. We took them back to the store for a good cleaning and to repair some problems. The store didn’t want to work on them as they were too old.
We did some research and found Chestnut Ridge. We packed the machines up and drove nearly two hours
We were so happy that we also purchased another new Bernina and sold the older one to Chestnut Ridge and later came back to buy back the older one

I was up at Chestnut Ridge for the Black Friday Sale. Everyone is so nice and helped me find the accessories I needed for my Bernina. I just wish I lived closer than 4 hours. Every time we visit that is my first stop. Great shop so much inventory, it's GREAT!!!!

Top notch sewing machine service and sales. Brought in a 60 year old machine and now it runs like new after being serviced at Chestnut Ridge. They also maintain my one year old machine. Fabric selection is generous with incredible prices. Classes taught by local and national educators in the biggest most technological classroom I have ever seen

My wife's Bernina 880 was messed up when cutting and tying off. We had taken it back to the purchase place for work three times. My wife was getting very frustrated. We heard about Chestnut Ridge Sewing and Mike Miller. We were told he was the best. That is true! He was able to fix the machine and my wife is now a happy woman. Thanks
