Hippie Hut Guitars & Things

Purchased two items from Scott and Jesse. Couldn't be happier. Both items were well priced, well packaged (shipped) and arrived in a timely manner. Excellent communication though out both transactions. I Will definitely purchase from "Hippie Hut Guitars and Things" again.

My son and I decided to be tourists in our own town. We came to a realization that even though we have lived in Columbus, Oh for a long time we never truly were able to explore and take in what is downtown Columbus. So our first stop in tourist adventure brings us to The Hippie Hut.From the outside it looks like a little hole in the wall with tie dyed sheets for curtains.From first thought you may think, wow they probably sell so much marijuana in there! Alas, I was guilty of such thoughts. Upon entering the Hippie Hut you are greeted by a soft spoken young man who is very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Inside you find locally made items that put to shame your first initial thought of it being a weed house.
Locally made purses, leather flipflops, ponchos, paintings, handmade soap, body butters, resin keychains and so much more!There hanging on the wall handmade guitars that were truly one of a kind.
There is even a beautiful iguana and his name is The Dude. He was very personable and loves attention.
This place was like stepping back in time. It almost reminded of a shop you would find the gang going to on Scooby Doo. The prices definitely reasonable and I can honestly say if your in the market for handmade one of a kind gifts then this place is one you want to see. This is definitely a place I wish to revisit and frequent for all my body butter and sage needs!

Cool place for vinyl records , musical instruments local art and hippie stuff, colorful clothes and more.

Just picked up my guitar from a re-string. These guys are great, guitar came back clean and polished, they took the time to wind the strings evenly and perfect. Like when you get a new high end guitar from the factory, above and beyond. The people there are all very approachable, professional and knowledgeable. I love this place. Great selection of vinyl , artwork, clothing , vintage audio. Every time I go in there I enjoy looking around and always spot something cool that I’ve never seen before.

Very friendly place. I had a fender guitar that I ordered online from guitar center. It was way out of wack. I took it to them to be setup and they did a great setup. Only place I trust to take care of my guitars now

Hippie Hut is a great place. Scott is a genuinely good dude and he and his employee are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Awesome selection of merchandise, whether you're looking for clothes, music, novelties, or herbal supplements you will most likely find it here and get a good deal on it.
Also a great place to sell or trade in musical instruments or vinyl records. You will get a fair price, and the owner is never looking to rip anybody off. Sell here rather than a record store where they are looking to rob you with instulingly low offers.

I didnt know that this place was full of locally made stuff, and I really enjoyed that. They also do custom printed shirts at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend it.

I love this place so much. The nicest workers, the coolest things, and the cutest animals. Prices are fantastic and the locally made art is beautiful. Highly recommend :)

Absolutely love this place. Have been in love with the store since he was in Circleville and now that he has a bigger store on High, the selection of various items has increased. Most noticebly with local art in so many different applications. Jewelry, artisan soaps, fragrances, etc. You'll just need to stop in and check it out, and I promise you that you will fall in love with the store in it's entirety. Most recently he began carrying different strains of kratom and CBD. My typical reason I go is to purchase incense. The biggest collection of various incense fragrances is made by the brand WildBerry, which is made in Ohio. The highest quality incense (outside of just straight resins) you can purchase in my opinion. He also carries Nag Champa incense sticks from India. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he also has musical instruments and accessories along with a huge selection of records in which he also buys if you have some to get rid of. Just go check him out, you seriously won't regret it. If this tells you how much I love this place, this is by far the longest and most descriptive rating that I have ever done in my life lol. Its just that good of a place!

Cool clothes. Awesome records, guitars, ukeleles and other stuff inside. CBD products are available at great prices! The chocolate that looks like marijuana is good and only $3.00 a bag but has no cbd, no thc. Cool dude in store with his dog.

Fun staff...if'n ya needs a quick n dirty acoustic or electric guitar, this store can help...but they also have a deliberate (meaning hand-selected by musicians) small assortment of Fender tube amps! Not a huge selection, but the discerment appeared impressive e.g. 1984 tube Deville in what seemed excellent condition. Also present were the regular eclectic assortment of campus shiznat...some vape stuff, but high street Headshop one block way is likely better for smokeables.

This store is owned and run by great people. The store is clean and organized and you will get to meet a really cool dog named Eleanor.

Scott did an amazing job, i will definitely go back when i need something fixed again. He handled everything with care. He answered every question i had.

Great shop with super helpful staff. My only regret is that I didn't buy more incense while I was there - they had a great selection.
