Went done to Pickaway County Fair last week. Enjoyed the 4H projects and animals, and I got my traditional Raders Homemade
Ice Cream. Watched some free musical entertainment and ate my share of fair food.
Good time with my wife and grandson.

Set up an information booth during the fair. All event staff were very helpful, especially Rhonda. Had a good time. Was on the smaller side, for a county fair, but they had everything you expect...from animals to fried cheese. We will definitely be back next year.

Since the recent renovations and updates, this fairgrounds had to be the nicest I've seen. I have visited many county fairs over the years, and nothing compares. The barns are phenomenal. Watched the hog show on our visit. Not exactly what I expected. The show barn was divided into two areas making it feel like some of the state fair show areas. We could not understand anything over the speakers regarding the show. Im not sure if something was a bit off due to the newness of the facility. Hopefully that will improve. Parking was a disaster. Had to park elsewhere and walk. We were told that plans for another phase of construction include additional parking. Overall, very impressive for a country fairgrounds.

The venue was nice and big. Very crowded, I feel the event that was going g on should have rented a bigger place based on the turn out.

The New buildings and pens for the junior livestock exhibitors are very nice and should be easy for them to keep clean and sanitized. Along with the washing stations for the animals equipped with good water supply and drainage. The show arena very nice also

Went to the Pickaway County fair with my wife, daughter and two grandkids(5 and 3). The kids had a great time eating shaved ices and riding the rides they were big enough for(there were plenty). We felt it was well organized and flowed easily.

This review may be a bit early, but there is a $15 million building project going on the grounds currently and there will be up to date meeting, exhibition and animal barn space available for Pickaway County and the area at large that will rival any facility in central Ohio outside of the State fairgrounds. Visit the fair the third week of June and see for yourself! It will make you want to see similar improvements to your community's fairgrounds.

Watched a horse show here. The buildings are well kept. However, the fair board needs to step up their game and make sure everything is ready for competition so that events start on time.

Have not been there since the late 1970s we used to go sell or livestock down at that Fairgrounds I imagine it's changed quite a bit. What the heck though it can't be terribly run down or they would not be trying to hold an event there. I'm definitely interested in seeing it once again.

Good to have food trucks at the fairgrounds so we could get some fair food. In times like this, it's nice to get some comfort food. Got to get what you can, when you can.
