Dave's Excavating

My driveway hasn’t looked this good in over 30 years. Dave’s Excavating did an excellent job for a reasonable price. They left me with a well-crowned drive that was rolled smooth and hard to avoid washouts by rain. I’d recommend Dave’s to anyone.

I first worked with Dave's Excavating about 7 years ago when I was a Township Board Supervisor with Hayland Township. We hired him to profile our ditches, clear & grub trees that had encroached on our R/W and move a lot of excess dirt. He proved to be fast, efficient and totally dependable.
With that experiance in mind I hired his company to widen trails on my property and remove lots of stumps. They not only completed the job in less time than I thought (thus saving me money) but they took the time to get my tractor running. I had run my diesel tractor out of fuel and lacked the know-how to drain ALL or the lines and filters. He opened my lines, hooked me up to the dozer and pulled me several times - each time he'd run back to my tractor when it started and shut the bleeding lines. It took about 4 tries but - sure enough - the tractor finally kept running and started purring like a kitten. I was very happy 'cause it had been sitting in the field for many weeks, unusable. I call that above & beyond.
I have since hired Dave's another time with the same satisfying result. Lots of work done for a reasonable price.
