After YEARS of reading about Coriander in the Detroit Hour magazine, we were FINALLY able to go. It was well worth the wait! Loved the ambiance - how they have successfully brought nature indoors. The food was delicious. Would get the burger again. Loved the peach tulips so much, I HAD to buy a bundle for home. Looking forward to our next visit.

I’ve been here several times, Winter, spring, fall and summer. Every time amazing. Honestly can say the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. Staff is the best! You can’t beat the atmosphere and location. Cocktails are delicious, pitchers of beer are great. Fried smelt is a must have!

I went to this place solely for their healthy food options, and I must say I was satisfied. The kale salad was tasty and nutritious, I loved it. The clam chowder is good, too. Their portion sizes are big, so I would suggest getting half size if you don't enjoy huge meals.

Detroit’s best kept secret discovered. My husband and I enjoyed our delicious drinks, The Paloma and Save the bees drinks for the WIN!! We also ordered the Jalapeño hush puppies and the Burger with house homemade chips.

Our only request is to be cautious of the burger, we ordered it well done, it came back medium rare. The waitress took the burger back for well done and she returned the burger medium well.

Ordering well done isn’t an easy task here, however the location, ambiance, excellent service, and drinks have sold us as a new favorite spot❤

The drinks are the highlight here, food was definitely good but nothing stood out as very unique or amazing to me. The unique cocktails though were all great, the margarita was unique and strongly infused with jalapeno pepper & the beet drink was splendid and refreshing, a must try for summer! Very cute ambience/setting by the river.

Super cute restaurant right on the water/canal! Friendly staff and great (and creative) food! I had the jerk cauliflower tacos! If they are booked, go sit at the bar, you won’t be disappointed!

Such a magnificent place to get food and relax at near the canals in Detroit. Cannot recommend this place enough. Menu is seasonal and all locally grown ingredients. Location is a renovated boat dock and it’s such a vibe in the summer.

Such a great spot for drinks and food! The atmosphere is great, being right on the canal and the staff was wonderful! We learned it’s dog friendly and we live within walking distance.. So, we’ll definitely be regulars moving forward.

This is the spot to go to in Detroit for brunch. The ambiance is next level. We sat by the water and felt like we were in Florida. We started with a spicy marg and mimosa. Both stunning and delicious. The portions of food are pretty large too. We had a sandwich that was good. The star were the breakfast tacos, they were amazing!!

Another gem in the city that Im just learning about. Miles our waiter was cool and very informative. One of the owners even came to check on us to confirm if we were enjoying ourselves.

This may be my new favorite spot. Very good atmosphere and people. Didnt have any food but Im sure the plates follow suit. Signature Cocktails were on point next to the serene canal.

this place is an absolute stunning hidden gem. the atmosphere is gorgeous, the food is extremely flavorful, and the service is always friendly. I’m vegan and there’s multiple options on the menu for me. I highly recommend this spot, you’re going to be blown away by how gorgeous it is. there are multiple parks nearby right on the Detroit river as well.

I found this place randomly while looking at google maps and thought that I must give this place a try. I reserved online and came to the restaurant for lunch on the weekend. I love the location! We tried the marrow burger and the falafel wrap. Great flavor and equally good service too. My wife and I will be returning again.

This place is great. I had the Fish n Chips and it was probably the best Fish N chips I have ever had. Perfectly breaded and cooked along with an amazing homemade tartar sauce. Highly recommend the fish dip as well. Overall, a great experience.

Loved this place and will be coming back. I was able to bring my two dogs and sit outside right by the water for lunch. Small Greek Salad was very good. Tried the fish dip and would recommend that again. Server and wait staff were very nice.

The food was phenomenal! Everything from the goat cheese, salad to the burger was so fresh and well made. Our server Taya was really sweet and did a great job of explaining the menu and giving suggestions. Highly recommend for fresh and locally inspired food.

The food was really good! Based on the menu, I thought that I would leave still hungry and that was far from the truth. Staff are very friendly! Comfortable and casual atmosphere. Fish and chips is amazing along with the hush puppies. We will definitely be back!

Finally had a chance to visit and I’ll be going back! They were a bit busy so the wait was longer than expected but it was a gorgeous day so I’m not surprised. Everyone that was working was pleasant and happy to help. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfy and the food was excellent. It was all very fresh and flavorful and all the flavors and seasoning worked very well together. We got the tempeh reuben, loaded fries, and carnitas flat bread. To drink we had Bees Knees and a cucumber one (can’t remember the name). And we followed it up with the house made peach cobbler. Nothing beats those fresh peaches and the delicious fresh biscuits. I love how the menu changes with the seasons and can’t wait to go again and try something new!

Potentially my favorite restaurant on the east side! The vibes are unmatched if eating outside- it would not be the same experience inside. Sitting next to the canal on a nice day is so relaxing. The food and drinks are all delicious, highly recommend the smoked fish dip. The beet mojito might sound unusual but it was very refreshing. It does get pretty busy on weekends for both lunch and dinner so I recommend either making a reservation or going a little earlier as there can be quite a wait. Be sure to check out Coriander this summer!

Attentive, friendly service and fresh, delicious food. Highly recommend driving around this lesser known area of Detroit while in the area.... the canal area and Klenk Island!
