Cakabakery West

We originally came across Cakabakery at a friend's wedding years ago and knew immediately that we wanted to use them for our future wedding. Cakabakery did such an amazing job on our wedding cake, we did three different flavors (chocolate, bourbon vanilla w/ salted caramel, and champagne w/ strawberry) and every flavor was to die for! We got so many compliments on our cake (how it look as a whole) and the way it tasted! We live about an hour away but will always be sure to stop by when we do visit the area!

Cannot thank the ladies at Cakabakery enough for making my moms 70th birthday cake this past weekend!

They knocked it out of the park with the vision that I had for her “shoe box” carrot cake birthday cake. It literally made my mom say “wait! Is that cake??!” Not only was it absolutely beautiful but all of our guests could not stop talking about how incredible it tasted!

We used Cakabakery West for our wedding desserts and everything was amazing! We ordered a small cake for cutting and then a variety of cupcakes, cookies and bars and everyone loved everything! The cake turned out exactly as we requested and tasted amazing and all of our guests raved about the other desserts as well! Communication with Kelsey was very easy via email as well. Will definitely use again for future events!

This was our 2nd time ordering from the Holland location and both times the cakes were the stars of the show. This was such a fun birthday spice cake. Thank you bakers for the wonderful dessert and we will be coming back for all our special events.

Absolutely perfect! I am gluten intolerant and not only did I have no issues with contamination, they were AMAZING! My wife is not gluten intolerant, and had her own flavors, but she tried mine and she and I both agreed these were the best cupcakes we have ever had! So were hers! They were so flexible, so reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious.

Cakabakery has the most delicious cakes, and their work is always stunning! They are great to work with during the ordering process (do make sure to give some notice during busy seasons!), and the finished product is always better than expected! They’re also great to stop in for a quick treat!

This place is absolutely great. They do such a great job at making the best cakes. We ordered a Sonic the Hedgehog Cake for our daughters 5th. It was amazing. Totally recommend this place!

Very happy with both small smash cake and cupcakes for daughter’s first birthday. Worked with me via email to make sure cake matched farm party theme perfectly. And soooo delicious! Worth the price for a special occasion.

We had our wedding this past Saturday and the cakes and cookies were AMAZING. We got compliments throughout the night on how good the desserts were. They communicated with us well and answered any questions we had. During the wedding planning process, we were given cupcake samples and the samples were just as amazing as our wedding cake. I HIGHLY recommend them! Kelsey is so sweet too and she made sure we got what we wanted for our wedding. It was the perfect day!

Best strawberry cupcake. Pricey but definitely cheat day worthy. Their coffee is pretty tasty too. Good place to stop by when hanging out with your galpals.

I have ordered 3 cakes from this bakery (one from the GR location) and every single time, it's been a pleasant experience!

My son had his first birthday this March and I wanted it to be memorable, not only because it was his only first birthday, but because of the quarantine status. The bakers and cake decorators did such a good job bringing my idea to life!

This is a cake for my mom for Mother's Day. I gave ideas to what I would love the cake to look like and the cake turned out so amazingly perfect...I was speechless! I know my mom will love it!

GARDENING CAKE
this is a cake for my bf's mom for Mother's Day. I found a gardening cake picture online and it was exactly what I pictured for her. All of the little gardening elements are perfect and I couldn't have gotten it any better anywhere else!

The Cakabakery in Holland, MI made our wedding day sweets a breeze. And extra tasty.

Being that we were last-minute wedding planning (we only had a few months to throw something together since we were on our third pandemic-related wedding plan) we were lucky enough to find the Cakabakery...and boy was that a great decision!

The cake(s) were immaculate. Beautifully designed and delicious. The cookies were gone before we could even blink. I would recommend the Cakabakery to anyone on this side of the state. Or better yet, just take the 2.5 hour drive from the east side to make your way into their doors right here in Holland, MI.

The cake at Cakabakery West is simply amazing!! They made my wedding cake, and I still get compliments from guests at how delicious it was. Kelsey and the team were wonderful to work with, too! Highly recommend.

2nd Floor Bakery in Holland just did our wedding cake this last weekend and they were absolutely amazing. The cake was beautiful, exactly how we wanted it and it was so good! Everyone complimented how great it tasted. The cake was delivered on time and was very subtle; I hardly noticed she was in and out! We ended up having cupcakes as well so we did not have to go up a tier which turned out great. My husband even had some of their cookies from the bakery which were fantastic. We would recommend them to everyone. Good prices, beautiful and tasty. :)

The cake was amazing! It was everything I could have dreamed of for my daughter's first birthday. I gave her a fairly loose theme, octopi, orange, pink, and Coraline lettering. Cake was delicious! Details were amazing. Best cake I've ever had, also one of the most aesthetically pleasing cakes I've seen.

I wouldn’t order our birthday cakes anywhere else! They are nice AND they make the tastiest cakes (the cakes are beautiful too). The buttercream frosting is amazing. This is their special order shop. The main shop for random cupcakes and cookies (also yum!!) is downtown.

Cakabakery made us an amazing Cubs World Series cake for the grooms cake at our wedding (3 days after they won)! They were originally going to make a Stanley Cup cake, but I emailed very late Wednesday night and asked if they could change it up for a Sat pick up. They were extremely accommodating, and the cake turned out great! It was a huge hit with my husband and all of our guests. Their flexible was appreciated, and the cake tasted great. We got our cupcakes somewhere else due to price, flavor, and taste. The other bakery was not able to make a custom cake for the same price and flexibility as Cakabakery.

I used Cakabakery for my rehearsal desserts and my wedding desserts and they were a HIT! For rehearsal I got Cake pops, pecan bars, and cinnamon rolls. For the wedding I got a cookie cake, various cupcakes and cookies, and brownies. It was all AMAZING!! People loved everything and they had so many flavors to choose from. They were all decorated nicely and they even let me rent stands for desserts which was really helpful.

This a the best surprise! We were in beautiful Holland for the weekend and wanted to bring home a cake for our DIL’s birthday. They had one that was never picked up. What a blessing. They even threw in a few extra goodies for free. Now I’m heading 2 1/2 hrs back (5 round trip) to get a cake for my dads birthday. No I’m not crazy it’s that GOOD!! I wish there was more than 5 stars.
