Victory Smokehouse

My pregnant was craving fish and chips on this Friday Night. Decided to try Victory inn and they did not disappoint. There fries are seasoned which I really like, the tartar sauce is homemade which you never see and the Mac and cheese also I homemade and is fantastic. Even tried the pretzel bites and they are exactly what I was hoping for, nothing fancy. Soft, salted pretzels and nacho cheese. The only way it should be. The fish was great also ( fish and chips is pretty similar anywhere I think) but everything else made the meal really stand out. And the staff was great, very sweet to my wife when she ordered and congratulated me when I got there. Great experience, would recommend to anyone. Nice fun atmosphere on the inside to, next time we'll dine in

The Victory inn is truly a staple, a fixture, an iconic bar. I rarely write reviews but my experience today was so great today I had to say something. The fish tacos on Friday are absolutely delicious. Also I've been coming to the Vic for years, and I've never gotten to the bottom of my glass before the server offering to bring me another beverage. The experience at the Vic is everything I want out of a blue collar bar.

Affordable prices and good food! You order at the counter, they give you a number, then the food is delivered to your seat. A waitress will handle the bill when you are done eating. There is a decent sized parking lot attached to the building. Good for a quick lunch!

This food was absolutely AMAZING! I got the pick 2; Brisket & Burnt Ends with baked beans & Mac n’ Chz. The meat was perfectly smoked, you can even see the beautiful red smoke lines and could tear the meat apart with a fork. The staff was so generous, greeting us as we walked in, the bartender was over the top friendly. It was such a great experience. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be returning!

I have ordered takeout for off site business meetings twice. Once for breakfast & once for lunch. They were accommodating for my special request. They had my large order ready on time & packaged nicely so that it could easily be put into the car. Everyone at the meeting really appreciated the food & commented how good it was & that the meat portions were generous. Thank you for making me look good to my customer.

Amazon atmosphere and quick service. Brisket sandwich was delicious. Clean and fresh and crispy fries too!

Order her for work everyone lived there food and the customer service was top tier. Definitely would recommend to anyone who ask about bbq in metro detroit. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant and plan to visit for a sit down visit.

The total package from food and waitresses are amazing, relaxed environment very welcoming.

People, food, excellent PPE in order! first time I've been here and I will definitely be back! Definitely recommend the burnt tips and also and also the brisket! Deep fried mushrooms awesome very light and fluffy and the strawberry margarita yum :-) mind you this is the first restaurant I have been in since March and I was very comfortable and felt safe:-) great job guys

BBQ was awesome here! A non-expected diamond in the rough! Best BBQ around. The meats were all VERY LEAN & TENDER! Actually, no fat at all on the brisket or pulled pork! Prices were reasonable for the quality of the meats! The BBQ sauces were all good. There just arent msny places like this left! That are still providing high quality food with lean meats, good service, and large portions! Definitely a must try for Good high quality BBQ at a reasonable price! Sorry, the food didn't last long enough for a picture!

Excellent place, excellent people. Had a little miscommunication ordering tonight and staff turned it around for me in such a positive and friendly way. The owner is an absolute gem.

A hidden gem! I've passed this place a thousand times going to work and never even thought about trying it. Then just before the lockdown, one of my buddies I work with who was transferring to another location wanted to have a beer so we went here and I was shocked at how delicious the food was! The prices were great for the food menu and they had good beer specials as well. Instead of hitting the drive thru again, support this place during these ridiculous small business killing lockdowns, and you will not regret it!

EXCELLENT! No other words to describe the hidden gem! Definitely a must go if you enjoy BBQ or smoked meats! Not to mention cheap beer prices and friendly Service! Only bad thing I could say is I'm upset that I did not come here sooner! 10/10 must go!!

What a neat little place! If I hadn't read someone's review about the shipping container in the back I never would have found it. It's a black shipping container behind a red building called victory inn bar and grill. It's a bit different though, you can go in and order a carryout or you can get your meat and bring it over to the bar nextdoor to sit down and eat. They gave us a poker chip for each side and we had to go next door to the bar and give them to a lady at a small counter in exchange for our sides. I'm not sure if you have to do the same thing if you get a carryout or if it would all be together. The brisket and turkey were delicious and the mac and cheese was good too. The 1/4 lb of brisket was only three small pieces but they were thick. I would go back again and try more stuff.

One of my favorite places, The Dirty D sandwich and their Mac & cheese are great, burnt ends are yummy pretty much anything we try is good!

We visited the Victory Smokehouse early Saturday am. Was really impressed with the comfort and warmth of the staff. The food is terrific, my grandchildren had so much fun!! We will return again, and again!!! Your the best!!! Thank you..

When the entire Eastside is coming to your place to eat, call Bev at Victory Inn. 6 slabs of ribs and 5 lbs of pulled pork later and the whole house ate good!

Haven't been here for ages, very pleased with the food and service plus the building is major upgrade from years ago.
