Oh my! This is incredible! So glad I stopped here for a late lunch. Great service by the most helpful and intuitive owners. Food is amazing! Three sauces (original, spicy and sweet) next to the FREE ice cream! If you haven't stopped here, do it today. WARNING: You'll become a regular!

Great food!! Changed things up a bit but the food is still delicious 😋 Only place around to get fried ocra with your smokes brisket, pulled pork , delicious baked chicken plus so much more!!

Recently traveled to Chicago and had to stop and try their Banger & Mash Stack w. the original BBQ sauce. Also had a side of ribs and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, service was amazing, definitely a go to.

1st visit. Food was good.
Huge variety of sides. We tried the Creamed Spinach, Bbq Beans, Cole Slaw, and Mac n Cheese, they were all very good!
We did 3 meat plates, seemed like best value. One was Brisketx2 with Ribs, and other was Brisket, Ribs and Jalepeno Sausage. They were all delicious!
Like others reviews, portions are not huge, but neither are their prices so it's fair and it's def more than enough to fill your belly.

The food here is great! We love coming here staff is awesome and greets you and make sure you are happy with your service. We love brisket sandwich! Today we tried different items and were not disappointed. Stop in and give it a try you will be glad you did!

I'm a huge lover off all things barbeque, and this place knows how to do it!! They have daily specials, several different types of meat, and many sides to choose from. Their sauces are kept warm and pair nicely with their brisket (and all other meats, I'm sure). Not to mention - free vanilla ice cream machine!!!

I MISS the 1 in south Texas and then i seen they had 1 hear so I had to go and it's just like the 1 in south Texas I will definitely be coming back cuz not only is the food good so is the customer service

Love coming here for good comfort food. Always like to stop when we come to Rockford. The dining room is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. It feels like you’re family.

I could eat here on the daily! The smoked meat is ridiculously tender and juicy. Pair that with a variety of sauces and you are good to go!

Enjoyed every bit & we ordered ALOT 🤣 (2 two meat plates that came with 2 sides and a roll , & half rib slab plate that came with 2 sides and a roll) brisket was so flavorful even by itself before trying out all 3 bbq sauce options , all sides were delicious ( mashed potatoes , green beans , Mac and cheese , potato salad & the fried OKRA . ) I was too full to try the plate of ribs my man got but they went into the Togo box with our left overs that I’ll be heating up tonight 😁
Forgot to mention they got the good crushed ice .
I absolutely hate goin out and 9 times out of 10 the food is gross or the staff is nasty , I’m happy to say I enjoyed myself tonight thanks to Tyler & Sara

First time trying them out- ordered the beef brisket, pulled pork, baked beans and potato salad. Everything tasted great. The BBQ sauces were all very tasty. Great tea options. Will definitely be back I am extremely happy we tried some where new.

I was in there with my 3 kids on 7/30/2022 and got great service from Tyler! The Que was fresh , he was able to answer all questions I had along with being pleasant while doing so. we all had a great meal!

Very friendly service and the pulled pork sandwhich was to die for. We will be back!

I came in for the first time and the prices were fair and portions filling compared to most BBQ joints. The sauce selection was a little basic with only three types but they were all very good. I tried the chicken and pork ribs which were both delicious. I also had the brisket which seemed a little dry but still had flavor. Yet the staff came out on their own and gave me an extra serving of sliced brisket from a different batch. They said they weren't impressed with what they gave me, A+ for customer satisfaction. Five stars for what it is, a simple BBQ place with the traditional plates.

Amazing pulled pork BBQ! I had fried okra and onion threads as sides which were done perfectly. Nice to have free soft serve ice cream as desert! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!

I first tried Dickey's a few years ago while in TX. Shortly afterward one came to Rockford and I was thrilled. I guess we overdid it for awhile because we had not gone back in awhile. We were recently in the area, had some time to kill and were hungry. We made a great choice in going to Dickeys! My husband and I split a two meat plate. It wasnt busy and one of the people working there heard us commenting about other menu items, so she brought us samples. We tried the most tender turkey ever. We also had a jalapeno sausage that I was not as impressed with. We had brisket for our meal and I will stick to that.
Great food and friendly service, second to none. We will be back.

Place has an old southern style but awesome service!!! Wings are the best, but the chicken breast plate is my favorite

Great BBQ, great staff !!! I recommend the pull pork, brisket, and chicken. The creamy spinach was good as well. You can't go wrong with this place. Even the vanilla ice cream that had no fat. It felt like that episode of Seinfeld. " This ice cream is so F*** good and no fat !!! Keep up with the great customer service, ill be a repeat customer.
