I've been a customer of Tinderbox since it was in the Cherryvale mall in the 1990's. Definitely the best selection of cigars, wine, and high end liquors anywhere near Rockford. Dennis (owner) and Rhonda (Manager) are the finest of people, as well as the rest of the staff and are extremely helpful. I highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed! Please tell them I said hello!

Nice wine and spirits selection! You don't need to be a cigar fan to shop here. Dennis does a nice job keeping a broad selection of wines in a range of prices. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable

Great ownership, well run. Good selection of both cigars and liquors. Get on their mailing list and you'll be invited to their fairly regular Spirit school, wine tasting, and cigar events.

Best cigar shop in town imho. The owner, Dennis, has a great team working with him that is just as into cigars and fine spirits as you are! They'll help with any questions and offer recommendations based on your likes/needs. Biggest selection of cigars in town in all price ranges. Nice selection of aged, local and harder to find whiskeys. Most you can't find at Woodmans and big box stores. Same goes with the wines (though I'm not a wine drinker). Monthly events are really fun and engaging, especially the Spirit School. Great shop just a bummer you can't smoke in there any more.

Dennis and his two associates are extremely engaged and educated in the field of tobacco. I cant say the same for spirits as i dont drink. Dennis has educated me in many things but what he excels in is treating everyone with respect. From experienced to the non. Theres no BS here. The man and his associates dont treat you like a customer because they treat you like family. Im not an experienced cigar smoker. But ive had a few. He asked me what i like and made recommendations. Never once made me feel like i didn't know what i wanted. Because he knew where i was/am in my life's journey. Respect. Love. And more.

Wonderful selection of cigars. The place is well kept. The owner was very friendly and answered some questions I had about cigars. Best cigars/tobacco shop in this area.

Great selection of cigars and some pipe tobacco. There is a cigar lounge to sit and enjoy your smoke. They also carry wine and liquor for purchase with some high end labels.
