Being able to kayak here was so cool! It was about a half day trip with a bunch of friends. We booked with Paddle On Outfitters if you were looking for a great route, option to bring your dogs, and one of the best customer services I’ve seen in Illinois for this activity. We honestly all had a blast!

It is a great forest preserve that runs right into Blackhawk Springs forest preserve. Well worth running or biking. A beautiful site of the Kishwakee River.

Love this place, biking trail gas 3 miles of very challenging trail. I call it spaghetti.

Great place to put in a tube or kayak on the Kishwaukee. When the water is low enough a great place to wade and explore the river. Our dog loves going here to swim in the river.

Went tubing for the first time. An extremely delightful experience. Absolutely nothing more beautiful than the earth itself.

I love this place for it's kayak launch. It has a nice, large parking lot and some sort of bathroom facility, which I've never used. It has a gravel drive down to the kayak launch, so you don't have to carry your kayak very far. It also has some nice walking paths that connect to Blackhawk Springs Park. The fishing is good here but full of snags.

If you're looking for a quiet place to read a book or eat your lunch this park is the best and the place you have been looking for. I go here a lot and when i do i maybe see one or two other cars ever there. So quiet a d peaceful indeed for that next chapter or that yummy bag of potato chips after that turkey sandwich.

Dad and I fished I had a couple of small mouth bass on the line but never caught them they let them selves off the hook as soon as they seen me still fun though lots of scenery with people floating down stream very good looking moms floating down the river but I don't want to get caught stareing

Nice location more in a country setting than some forest preserves. Has facilities to use their plus covered picnic canopy and benches. Canoe or small boat launch for boating or fishing.

Two hiking trails one 2 miles, the other 5 miles. Great bike trail, great for dogs.

It has good access to the river specially if you are going there to fish. Can't wait to get back there in the warmer months.

Great place to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the Kish go by. (Afternoon coffee works too!)

Peaceful, tranquil place to be. It's a real escape from lifes hurried pace.

Always a good place to fish for smallmouth bass or watch the small river rapids of the Kishwaukee River.
