King Keyser Ski and Bicycle

King Keyser is an amazing establishment. Grew up renting and participating in the “Trolls” ski club here. So when I was was thinking about buying my first pair of skis I went straight to King Keyser and I was not disappointed! Talked to the experts in store who helped point me in the right direction for a whole set up. Process was easy and personal. Just got back from my first ski trip on my new skis and it was unreal, so great! Thank you Ari and Connor.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! I had such a positive experience getting fitted for ski boots and Jim was a huge help!! I am a beginner and he was friendly and attentive, picking out the perfect boot options to try. The whole process was seamless and my boots were heated so it would help conform to my foot shape. Jim was helpful in figuring out the best additional ski gear to invest in and he’s very knowledgeable about the sport. This is definitely my new favorite local ski shop and I look forward to picking up my boots, skis, and poles and hitting the slopes soon! :)

Completely thrilled with the snowboard I bought from here. It’s been quite a few years since I bought my last snowboard and I wasn’t sure what to get or how much of a difference any new technology would make. The board they recommended has been incredible and I can’t believe the difference it’s made in the ride. I absolutely love my new board and would not have purchased it without their recommendation.

I absolutely love King Keyser Ski Shop! Every time I walk in, the staff treats me like family, and they’re really knowledgeable about their stuff. They've got everything you could need for getting on the slopes. I've never been disappointed. Hands down, the best ski shop around! Love my new snowboard that Rick helped me pick out!

I’ve rented from King Keyser my entire life and have never had a bad experience. My dad recently purchased a pair of boots and skis and had a wonderful experience. Would recommend to all! Their employee connor also has remarkable knowledge of the band “OneRepublic” and we had a delightful chat about them.

Wow! I just had such an amazing experience with the staff at King Keyser. They were so helpful in getting me fitted with my new Lange Shadows that are absolutely to die for. Rick the owner is the man! He’s an expert in the helicopter skiing industry and can answer all your questions about it if you’re interested.

I am beyond impressed with the customer service here. I have bought all of my ski equipment here, had it maintained here, and everything has been top notch. I was having issues this season with my right foot going numb while skiing and the owners would not stop until they figured out why. And they did! They truly care about their customers and will put in the time to help you and make sure you are happy. It's just so rare these day to find that. There is a reason they have such good reviews. I am a loyal customer now!

I had a great experience at King Keyser. Last year I bought x-country skis, bindings, boots and poles from them. They took a lot of time, and got me fitted properly. I only got to use them once last season. This season, the first time out, one of the poles broke. I took it into their store, and they replaced both poles, no questions asked. I was hoping they’d handle it that way and they didn’t disappoint. When my wife’s ready to get outfitted, I’ll be back at their store. Well done.

Had such a great experience here with Jim! I came in for some boot work on my new boots and came out buying skis - so excited to try them out. Jim was so kind and patient with all my questions and didn’t mind at all that my dog came with on the shopping trip. He explained all the details of the boots, the details of the skis and ultimately decided to purchase because they had what I needed in stock and I wanted to make sure to support a small business close to my town. Will be back 100%!

I went there to buy ski boots and immediately a worker saw me and came to greet me. He seemed like he was very knowledgable on what type of ski I should get for my experience and style of skiing.

I am a long term resident of Hinsdale and a biker. I didn't know King Keyser did bicycle repair and upgrades. They did great work on two of my bikes. The only criticism I have is that they need a bigger sign on the door to let people know they work on bicycles. Good Job

King Keyser is a small family owned business that always makes you feel at home. They treat their customers with respect and are always timely with their help. I have purchased many products here such as winter accessories, ski apparel, swimsuits, backpacks, and more. I have been extremely happy with everything I have purchased. They are conscious with current CDC recommendations and all employees wear masks which makes me feel safe. The customer is definitely their number one priority and it shows. Will definitely continue giving this business my support and recommending to friends/family!

Experience overall was really nice, they have a few workers helping out in the clothing department as well as specialized workers for skis. I got helped with purchasing boots and the employee was really knowledgeable and talkative. They also had customized heat molding that made my boots very comfortable. Loved skiing on them!! Would definitely go back and support this business. Great crowd.

Always a Great experience when I show up to the shop, not only because I'm excited about Ski season, but because everytime I'm in shop I am expertly assisted when I ask technical questions about my equipment they have worked on or I am looking to purchase. Have had a few sets of skis mounted here and let me tell you I've had many big smashes and crashes using them and none have failed me. I have taken them across the USA to many of the top ski resorts and punishing destinations and have thrashed them and they are all holding up great. I would highly recommend any service offered by them! Thank you very much, can't wait to come visit again soon!

King Keyser is an excellent ski shop with knowledgeable people who respect our local favorite sport, our Midwest region, and really care for their customers.
