Where to begin! We live a short distance away so we are there fairly frequently. We have attended there halloween & christmas party's. I have also held my bridal shower here and we actually just had my baby shower in the outside pavilion. The catering was delicious and we had the best time thanks to Chris & Chelsey! We enjoy that the venue is so spacious and open. They have such a variety of delicious beer selections! My husband’s top two are the fuzz kill or vanilla blonde. They also have some pretty good food specials throughout the month. It is honestly such a great atmosphere and the staff is always absolutely amazing, you will not be disappointed😃

Wow! Fabulous place! Great music, food and beer!! “Thunder and Rain”—a Nashville band was there Saturday night and we so enjoyed the country blue grass tunes!! Wish I lived closer because I would be there every week!

Route 51 is one of my favorite places in the area. If I had more expendable income I'd be there at least once a week. I've tried just about every beer they have (a very good selection) and not disliked a single one. The food is excellent. There is always some kind of event or live music going on. Today I went for their Cajun-fest and got alligator for the first time since I left Florida and it was AMAZING. I also tried the gumbo and that was just as good. I can't recommend Route 51 Brewing Co enough. I only wish I had more money to give them.

OMG! This was such a surprise! A fabulous venue-huge but cozy! Every beer we tried was amazing! And the food, goodness! The caprese grilled cheese...to die for! The spicy beers were perfect! This is a MUST stop. Enjoy the sips and the bites!!

I recently visited Route 51 Brewing Company and had an outstanding experience! The service was amazing, the food was delicious, and the drinks were fantastic. The staff were phenomenal, always serving with a smile on their faces. Highly recommend this place!

Gorgeous taproom. Very large. Stage is really nice, would love to catch a good band here. Large upstairs area with shuffle board and outdoor area with bags and other games. They say food is coming soon. Banquet area also big and very nice with a few hotel style rooms on site. Beer was decent with good selection and quality guest taps. This place has a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to seeing what it evolves into over the next year.

My office held their annual appreciation party at Route 51 on Oct. 4 and it was a blast. We gave it an Oktoberfest theme. Chris and Chelsey were very accommodating and showed us the best hospitality in their venue. They made sure everything ran smoothly, was set up in enough time and made some great suggestions to make our party the best. Chris has a lot of knowledge when it comes to picking out bands and making sure the sound is perfect. Chelsey is very organized and made sure everything was on schedule. The staff was exceptional as well. They all dressed up in the theme of our event and made sure all of our guests were taken care of. Route 51 also let us bring in an outside caterer and accommodated the caterer's needs and worked with them for our party. Route 51 also brewed a custom German beer for our event and it was amazing. Thank you for a great party and for making it one of our best yet!

Hands down, my favorite brewery in southern Illinois! Every time I come here, my boyfriend and I have tried about 3/4 of their taplist. They have an amazing variety. Special nods to Fuzz Kill and Shuck It. Please always keep those two available!

I drove down to see The Crowe Boys and fell in love with this place! They have the best brisket nachos…the brisket is amazing! The atmosphere is also amazing! Highly recommend visiting!!

I absolutely loved this brewery. I spoke with the co-owner, Chris, and he mentioned they have three hotel rooms for booking. We're definitely coming back and staying here. My new favorite brew is the Palm Tree Pale Ale! We had their bar food; pickle fries and Asian wings. Delish. Loved the atmosphere and service too!

Stunning atmosphere, fantastic beers! Irish Red and Scottish Mild are my favorites! Food was great although a little pricey for the portion sizes! I will be going back!

Route 51 Brewing Company has an excellent rotation of craft beers (try the Mike Drop if you can get it), but it also has really excellent food!

The space is comfortable and relaxed allowing for large and small groups. The atmosphere is warm and lively.

But that’s not all! It is a musician’s dream performance space designed by the sound engineer/beer master/genius co-owner.
It is owned and operated by an intrepid, young couple who created a life with passion, ingenuity, and heart and soul!

Musicians: the sound is impeccable, the stage is generous as is the audience. The house seats 100 to 300 or so.

Great music and food! Beer was great especially the Irish stout and Fuzz Kill. Everyone was friendly. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend coming in!

We had my son’s wedding there this weekend. Chris & Chelsey were amazing to work with & very accommodating. They answered all of our questions & were upfront with the pricing, no surprises. The venue was perfect for all of the events from the rehearsal dinner, ceremony & reception. We were able to use the suites upstairs to have hair & makeup done for the bridal party and for the groomsmen to get dressed. It was so nice to be able to have everything in one venue. The food & drinks for both the rehearsal & reception was excellent. I highly recommend Route 51 for any event.
