Hampton Inn & Suites Parkersburg Downtown

We pulled in after a long day of driving and were promptly welcomed and accommodated. The front desk clerk offered to store my ebike (we leave the battery in the car) on the first floor so I didn't have to drag it up and down to our room - and I normally would appreciate that but did even more so after a long day of travel. The front desk staff were all courteous and friendly the next morning as well. This is a downtown area hotel but is very easy access and has ample parking available. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed at many Hampton Inns on our trip, all were great stays but this one was one of the best.

Felt very welcomed upon our check in, the desk person recommended a wonderful place for dinner, the drinks and meals were great! The hotel was extremely clean and provided everything we needed. If ever in the area again I would definitely stay there, would highly recommend.

Great hotel when I'm in the area. Clean, quiet, updated rooms and great staff! Nice indoor pool with hot tub. I bought my dog on my most recent visit, and they are very pet friendly 🙂 It's definitely my go-to hotel when traveling though Parkersburg!

My stay here was fantastic.

The room was clean, the place was quiet, all fixtures in the room were clean and in good condition. The hotel generally felt well kept, and the staff (particularly Denise, the night manager) was fantastic. She helped me get a slightly later checkout as I was working nights, and was able to extend my stay for a night with no trouble.

I would argue this is one of the best options if you’re staying or working in Parkersburg!

We've stayed in this facility many times over the years. These days you can't depend always on a brand or name...but this place is always clean and all the employees are always so friendly and helpful. The rooms are CLEAN and we've been so some that you can tell they just gave a lick and a promise. We always feel comfortable and safe there.

And again, such a great stay. I always stay with several grand children for birthdays, New Year’s Eve celebration ect. Rooms are clean, beds comfy, pool clean. Staff always very polite and helpful!! I came up to get coffee at 7 ish and was greeted by night shift leaving and day shift!!! Keep up doing what your doing!!!!

One of the most fabulous places I’ve ever stayed! Rooms are always clean! The staff is hands down the nicest and most sincere people ever! If you are just slightly interested in staying here do, I cannot say enough about the friendly people and service here! Hot tub is amazing, pool very nice! Gas fire pit outside is comfortable and relaxing!

The cleanest stay so far! Quiet relaxing. Just wish they had a restaurant or bar. I did Uber eats and it was quick. Nothing to complain about. USB ports in the room, plenty of towels and warm.

Free breakfast was outstanding. May be the best free breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. The woman taking care of the breakfast was friendly. Pool area clean with plenty of towels. Room was clean and had the clean sticker to show no one has been in since it was cleaned. I would definitely stay here again.

It has been a long time since I have been at a hotel where everyone was helpful, kind and knew what they were doing. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was well attended to with a great staff. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Hampton Inn, Parkersburg, WV is a wonderful, relaxing and reasonable hotel with outstanding service and staff. The daily breakfast is awesome, and the rooms are spotless. The Hotel Manager, Belinda, is a visible leader. She engages with the guests and ensures that "the little things" as well as the "big things" with customer service are always taken care of. I recommend this Hotel highly!

The staff Sanitized multiple times a day , very clean , the beds were super comfy , the every morning buffet was always delicious. The oriental lady that does the cooking is super sweet , the homemade cookies all day was always a nice midnight treat. They will even pack you a breakfast to go if you are in a hurry and have it at the counter waiting with your name on it. It was a really nice place to stay for a week.

Cassie, James & Marie were the most helpful and friendly Hampton Inn staff I've encountered in years. Rooms were very clean. Hotel is in great shape. Pool/hot tub was clean and at good temps. Breatfast options were eggs, bacon, cold cereal, oatmeal, 2 kinds of waffles, fresh fruit, selections of breads and muffins with juices and yogurts. Eating area was kept in fairly good shape, too during service.
One entire side of hotel is bordered by a cemetery, so it made for a good night's sleep. Mattress was very firm and pillows were extremely soft. Glad the wife travels with her own pillow.
Only complaint is have is the softened water in the hotel. It's too soft. Plan on a 7 minute shower to wash and another 10 min to rinse.
Not sure why anyone would be in Parkersburg, but I would definitely recommend this hotel for great staff and service. Way to go Hampton Inn.

Excellent experience! Superb cleanliness: the rooms were even sealed to show you nobody went in it after they were clean. Superb customer service! Superb amenities especially a hot breakfast and a pool and those free cookies were TO DIE FOR--MMmmm! (with high standards of cleanliness and safety to make it possible to use the provided amenities). Superb everything! Enjoyed it greatly. And made me reconsider who I normally look for when selecting a hotel: I just might use Hampton/Hilton from now on!

Our family stays at this Hampton Inn every time we get together. Close to restaurants and all shopping. Very comfortable, always clean. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Large lobby area that makes it easy for us to meet together as a group. Thank You for making our stay nice.
