Great portions at a fair price. Chicken livers were cooked on the griddle and lightly breaded, which was a first usually I see batter dipped from a deep fryer. Chili fries were "interesting" and were good but the chili skewed more to a tomato-heavy pasta sauce.

Cheryl's Country Diner stands as a testament to the simple pleasures of good food, warm service, and a down-to-earth atmosphere.

The diner is a trove of charming chicken-themed decorations that lend a unique personality to the place. Every corner of Cheryl's carries a delightful rustic touch. While the dining room may seem basic at first glance, it's this simplicity that makes it feel like a home away from home.

The star of the show at Cheryl's is undoubtedly the food, with the standout being the chicken fried steak. It's a hearty dish that strikes a perfect balance between comfort and indulgence. The steak is fried to a golden brown perfection, with the scratch-made white gravy adding a creamy richness that elevates the dish to a whole new level. Paired with the homemade biscuits, it's a meal that would make any southern grandma proud.

The coffee at Cheryl's deserves a special mention, too. Robust and well-brewed, it's the perfect companion to the hearty meals. But it's the homemade pies that truly steal the show. With a variety that could very well give you a sugar rush by just looking at them, these pies are a delightful endnote to any meal. My personal favorite was the chocolate coconut creme pie, a sweet treat that left me swooning with its creamy filling and perfectly crumbly crust.

Service at Cheryl's is as warm and welcoming as the food. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure that you feel at home, making the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

Always have to stop when we come into town. Even if it's out of our way. Never had anything bad here.

Food was excellent without fault. Between 3 of us, we had liver w/onions, open-face sandwich with roast beef and mashed potatoes, open-face sandwich with turkey and three salads. We got berry cobblers to go. The food was hot, fresh and excellent flavor. We'll definitely be returning.

I stopped here spontaneously. No regrets.
The food was amazing as if some ones grandma had cooked a nice Sunday dinner. I ordered the turkey dinner with Mac n cheese and green beans as my side. Everything was cooked to perfection. The restaurant was country and simple, clean and cute.

I love out-of-the-way diners! This place fit the bill! A real find. Was in the area unexpectedly and stopped in for breakfast. The place is intimate, clean, and homey. Even the restrooms.
Had a western omelette and rye toast. Very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Great prices. Great selection.

If you love down home, county cooking, you need to try Cheryl’s Country Diner. It is as close to Mom’s cooking as you can get eating out. Their meatloaf is excellent. Hot rolls come with it, right out of the oven. Homemade cobblers and pies are there to finish it off. Check it out.

The Chopped Steak was perfection. Wife said the same thing about her chicken. If you plan to enjoy desert, order it first. You'll be too full after.

Have to say, it's been awhile seen I ate at home style fresh food. Everything is home made not reheat. Great food, great services. If you are visiting, or just looking for a good restaurant try here, I believe you will be happy.

We tried the baked spaghetti and it was delicious. They serve huge dessert portions. Texas sheet cake and peanut butter pie were homemade and fantastic. Super friendly staff were quick and attentive. We'll be back. Went back, had the messy nessy two grilled cheese with a hamburger between and onions peppers and tomatoes sauce - 5 stars!

I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and Lima beans. The meal also came with a still steaming fresh cooked roll. Everything was delicious and came out quickly.

The wait staff all work together to serve you. I like that....one took our order and got the drinks. When food came up another had free hands so she brought the food over....you get the idea. Food was really good and the portions are large. Thanks to the youngest waitress we ordered the strawberry float cake.....get it, you wont be disappointed. Great place!

Hometown diner just like you might remember. Great food and excellent service. Meatloaf was tasty. Navy beans were so good. The rolls could be a meal alone, good old fashioned yeast rolls. Peanut Butter chocolate pie was the perfect ending. If in area a place you should try.
