Sleep Inn & Suites Parkersburg-Marietta

Stayed here for a few days for work and wasn’t disappointed. The hotel was clean and well kept. The showers were nice, beds were clean and comfy. Everything worked (hard to come by as often as I’m in hotels). The man I always saw at the front desk was friendly and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here without work choosing it if I ever needed one in the area.

This place is a great deal! We needed an easy place to stay off the highway for one night on our travels and this place was perfect. Comfy clean rooms and hot breakfast. Definitely recommend!

This is the place where family and I always stay when coming to town. The beds have always been comfortable. There is a nice selection of pillows. The rooms are clean. The continental breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day.

Price was higher than posted in internet search but Front Desk gave us a good discount. Front desk staff was amazing! Easy check-in. Great night sleep and very comfortable shower. The free cookies were a hit! Wish we didn't have to leave so early, we didn't get to enjoy the breakfast that looks fantastic. Computers needed updating, but no fault of front desk staff. Slow internet connection to check in/run credit card.
Love the room. Nice view of river, and thunderstorm coming through. Room was very clean! I even felt like I could go barefooted on the carpets!. Large shower was exceptional. Bed very comfortable. Location was easy access off highway to our destination in the morning.

Room was very fresh and clean, modernized, and welcoming. AC and all other appliances worked great and were clean and odorless as well. This hotel definitely punches way above its weight class as far as the price/quality ratio is concerned. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice hotel, clean room, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was included and it was yummy. Biscuits n gravy and all. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay! There were a lot of construction workers on one floor so the front desk guy put me in a room on another floor near a door and it was the best sleep! So clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a plus for not having only bread options!

We got stuck unexpectedly due to car trouble- with our 2 children (11& 14) and our dog. 😖😩😭 It was a nightmare- until we arrived here. The rooms were clean and fresh- the staff was soooo sweet! The other guests are considerate of one another, as the hotel is pet friendly. I’ve stayed in many pet friendly hotels- across the country- up and down both coasts and in between… this place was by far, miles ahead of any other establishment I’ve been to. I mean seriously clean and super inexpensive- (not to be confused with cheap). I will recommend to everyone and if I could have given them 10 stars I would have!!

Our stay was pleasant. It's a very nice facility. Those poor folks are trying to keep up with the demand of the public. They really need help I know right now it's hard to get people to work. They were doing a good job for us and we were proud of them. But if you know anybody that needs a job send them down there. These people are doing their best to please you but they could use some help I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean . And the atmosphere there has a touch of class. I highly recommend it.

Stayed two days during a family funeral. The hotel is new and fresh. The rooms were comfortable with nice amenities especially in this price point. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was a bit above standard and tasty.
One caution, while the stall showers are quite spacious and worked well, the shower floor was slippery. We would recommend to the management that they consider installing
no skid strips on the floor of the showers. I fear otherwise someone may fall.

The service and hospitality was amazing; the staff is very helpful and accommodating, but not only that but friendly.
The front desk crew are always on the ball and get everything processed in a timely manner.

Anytime I am out for business, or just traveling with family...I always choose this hotel because it is cozy, clean, quiet and the staff is amazing!

Sleep Inn is a sharp banner as we came to realize and this location is no exception. I can’t tell immediately if it is a new build but everything was pristine and perfect; if I was a gambling man I would guess we were the first people to stay in our rooms. Fast and friendly late night check in; plenty of parking and fresh 24 hour coffee. Great location right off of the interstate; plenty of dining (and late night dining) options in close proximity. My crew also enjoyed the spacious rooms and comfy beds. We’ll be passing back through in a month and a half and plan on staying here again based on our great experience. Breakfast was on point as well. There are plenty of other hotel options around here but I can assure you will not have a better experience anywhere else. Thanks team! We appreciate the hospitality.

Very clean. Comfortable bed. There is a great spread of food for breakfast. Computer friendly and large screen TV. It was convenient to have a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. Easy to use thermostat. We will use this chain of Choice Hotels from now on. Only complaint is there is no vent fan in bathroom.

I wish I could give way more stars. Of all the hotels I've stayed at in the last month or two this has definitely been the best experience. Staff are amazingly nice and accommodating. The hotel is super clean! And this is doesn't feel like we're even in WV! I'd definitely stay again, and the rates are affordable!

First Sleep Inn I've stayed at and it didn't disappoint.

Great beds, clean rooms. Excellent staff who were very welcoming and helpful. They have a great breakfast in the lobby in the morning that really got us on our way after a great night sleep.

Will definitely be staying here and at other Sleep Inns in the future. Great first impression for the brand.

This hotel must be recently new. It was very clean, and nicely updated. The pillows were soft and full. And they allow any breed of dog (we have a pit). It is in a safe area with easy access to the freeway. We will definitely be staying here during our next trip South.

Nice motel at a good price. Our room was a good size, in good condition. Nice breakfast room, friendly staff. It's an easy drive to downtown Parkersburg and local parks.

You gotta love the Sleep Inn! I am not even 100% why, but it is my favorite hotel chain. It’s always above average in cleanliness, the bed is always comfortable. It’s always whisper quiet. The shower is amazing. Always plenty of towels. The staff is pleasant and efficient. But it’s more than that. It’s attention to detail. For example, this particular location used dryer sheets in the air conditioning unit that just made the whole room smell fresh and amazing. I had never seen that before, but it was like a life hack from a Home and Garden show and I loved it! The cleaning gals were so quiet I didn’t even know they were in the hallway… that is so unusual and so great. Great breakfast, easy parking. USA Todays available in the lobby! Which, if you have read any of my reviews you know that is one of the things I always look for. Nice fitness center. The location was great too! Very convenient off the highway, with a gas station and Tim Horton’s right next door. Everything you could need! Highly recommended.

The final hotel of our ten day road trip and it was a good one. The room was spacious and very clean and very pet friendly. In our room, there was a little doggy bag for our furry friend. It contained a couple treats, a rawhide chew, a couple of poo bags and a new squeaky toy. Oscar loved his new toy so much. I don't know why more hotels don't do this. It's such a wonderful idea.

There was a continental breakfast that went until 9am. Unfortunately, we missed it but the did have a waffle maker. Pretty bummed we missed the last waffle breakfast of our trip. But it was a wonderful hotel to end our trip. Good stuff.

The rooms are perfect. Everything was so clean and new. The continental breakfast was great. Cheese omelette, bacon, bagel (made a toasted sandwich, myself). They had a waffle maker. Cereal. Fruit. There was way too much food. It was incredible. I can't think of anything negative to say about it. The elevator was kind of slower than other ones I've been in? I guess?
