We had the unfortunate experience of being rear ended about a month ago in our family vehicle. Though that was not something we had wished to deal with, our experience with getting repairs was wonderful! Sam really went above and beyond to take care of us. He helped us get set up with a rental next door, called us frequently to update us on the status of our repairs, and even returned our car detailed! The entire office was so kind, organized, and professional. While I hope that we never need repairs again, if we do- James Wood will be our first choice!

Too long of a story, but short version had been to a few dealerships, I was going to one that I didn’t like but only one that had vehicle I wanted. But I couldn’t make myself do it. They were dishonest and I had not one but 2 bad experiences there. That morning I searched online found vehicle 3 hours away - called and Rocco called me back. Quickly. 10 min and 20 questions I drilled him on, and I was loading up headed 3 hours to dealer. The courtesy, respect, and just straight up here’s best deal…. Was in every step! I was so happy and drove off with a brand new 2022 Trailblazer! I’m so grateful! Shouldn’t have been as hard as it was previously. I had everything done on my end, all I needed was trade willing to give and amount for car. I was happy and will do that drive again to work with them!

Even though the current state of the country is in disarray, and I have never paid this close to MSRP on a vehicle in close to 30 years of buying them, it was still most likely my best experience with a dealer. This has to be one of the most honest vehicle transactions I have had on a vehicle in years.Eric White was fantastic to deal with, and provided the knowledge and service above what is normally expected. In addition, as with most mechanical items, I had an opportunity to deal with Sean in the service department who also exceeded my expectations. All in all a great experience, and will definitely recommend and hopefully do business again with James Wood’s.

Great service, was recommended by friend. Wife's Caddy needed minor body work. fast in and out at time of repair. They were honest about the lead time to get us scheduled and parts. Went ahead and ordered parts that day so when my appointment date arrived, everything was there to do the work. ASK for SAM!!

They're fast, quick turn around and very friendly. Potters are always on deck on the service drive to point you to the service adviser while covering the seat with plastic and paper matt on the floor board!
I work with Christina on the service drive every time I bring one of our fleet vehicles in for recalls or to have something fixed! She always greet me with a smile, polite, very
knowledgeable about whatever the recall consist of and calls me as soon as its finished!

I was in a rush to purchase a pickup. I live and own businesses in both New Orleans, LA and Fort Worth, TX. Due to Hurricane Ida, I had to have a vehicle that I could trailer supplies back to New Orleans to get my businesses back up and running ASAP!

I easily found you online ( my father grew up in Decatur and I know the excellent reputation of the dealership ) and spoke to Karen Pattison about my needs and the urgency. I needed to purchase a vehicle and trailer in just a few hours. I called 3 dealerships. James Wood and Karen were by far the most attentive and immediately helpful.

To say Karen was excellent would be an absolute understatement. She asked the right questions and quickly figured out exactly what I was looking for. As you are aware, finding a high end pickup for immediate purchase is very difficult in today's environment. She quickly identified 3 options and narrowed one down at around 10:30am. I was in Decatur and out the door ( with a new trailer Karen helped me find ) by 5:00pm pulling my trailer.

Karen was amazing to work with throughout the process. Super knowledgeable, great attention to detail, made sure I knew all the technology and features of the vehicle and how to use them. I cannot say enough good things about her. Finance Manager was very good as well.

Not being snotty, but trying to make a point. I currently own a: Range Rover, Maserati, Porsche and Ferrari. My overall experience with Karen at James Wood surpassed any experience I have had purchasing any of these vehicles at very high end dealerships.

For a bunch of "Eighters from Decatur County Seat of Wise", you all have it going on. Fantastic job.

Oh by the way, in 10 days I have put 2,000 miles on my GMC Sierra Denali 1500 pulling very heavy loads from a loaded down trailer to 100KW generator with my Duramax Diesel. Thanks to GMC and James Wood, all my stores are up and running after one of the worst Hurricanes we have seen in years. I am open, my competition is still trying to figure it out.

Love James Wood, love Karen Pattison and love this truck. Will chose to drive it over my Range Rover every single day.
