The Blennerhassett Hotel

The hotel was very nice throughout. The room was the cleanest of any of the hotels I've visited in the last 3 years. The hotel staff were friendly. The other guests seemed to be friendly as well. My dogs really enjoyed the gift box left behind for them and we really enjoyed the water pressure.

We will return in the future.

My husband & I went on a motorcycle adventure and ended up staying here for the night, we didn't have a reservation but we were able to book a room when we walked in. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and nice. He offered a king suite, it was very beautiful. We had a couple drinks at the bar and coffee in the morning at the Cafe! Beautiful place to stay. Happy we found this place for the night. If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Super Clean rooms! As it is an historical hotel; the hotel rooms could use an update/or refurbishment. However, the aged appearance is probably what rounds off the charm of this classy hotel. The lounge and bar area was so amazing that we never made it to the main dinning room for our dinner reservation! The staff was very helpful and polite. The Bartender was excellent and so was the food! We WILL revisit for a longer stay next time. Thanks STAFF!

what a cool old place! The staff is the friendliest..beds are really comfy..room clean. the restaurant is enough reason to go here...hard to find this level cuisine in area .antique looking could use a little touch up in elevators but the whole place is charming...looked at meeting rooms...it would be great for meetings up to 20 people..

Have been staying here for various occasions over the past few years. The staff is always pleasant and attentive to needs and requests. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. I had reserved multiple rooms and spent Thanksgiving here as a family get-together. The restaurant food is excellent, the bar is relaxing and we really enjoyed the Thanksgiving Day Buffet and the Christmas Tree contest/display.

The library is my favorite part for my love of books and the history they hold. The rooms are plush, private, and the service is always immaculate. The restaurant and bar area are top notch, I’d recommend this hotel 10/10 every time! Location, location, location as well!

Me and my friend Mary came here for some Halloween fun. We went on a couple of ghost tours that was presented by the Blennerhassett Hotel. My friend Mary has a handicap and is in wheelchair. The people representing the tour was so very nice and helpful with guiding Mary through the entire time of the tour. Everyone was so very nice that was an employee of the Hotel. The food was very very good. Better than just best. The Hotel was very clean and beautiful. We are coming back again. We had the best time that we have had in a very long time. I love love this place and recommend for anyone to stay here. God Bless The Hotel Blennerhassett and all of the employees. 🤗🤗😘❤

We love staying at boutique hotels, and this one is a treat! Lots of history displayed in stories and photos on the wall to learn about the hotel. Everyone is very friendly and eager to help. We loved it and would definitely stay again! If you like my review, please give me a thumbs up, as it helps to build my credibility. Thank you.

I’d only recommend a couple improvements to make it truly perfect: (1) deep cleaning of the rooms; there was noticeable dirt and lint where the vacuum naturally doesn’t reach the baseboards around and behind the furniture, and (2) it’s overdue for a room remodel with modern efficiencies and better storage.

Examples: completely wasted storage opportunity for towels, hair dryer, toilet paper, etc., under the bathroom sink. The loveseat occupying the cove in the room is wasted space, and a wasted piece of furniture unless you want to stare at a wall. This could be a nice bar with a microwave, coffee pot and small fridge.

One last comment: It was disappointing to learn the business center didn’t exist, as someone at the hotel has taken it over as a personal office.

This hotel is charming, lovely and perfectly located. The service, bar and staff are so friendly and the rooms are clean. I travel often and highly recommend this property for your stay in Parkersburg.

Always love this place front desk is friendly, rooms clean, beautiful hotel especially during the holiday with their Xmas tree display. They rescue dogs and have placed 26 dogs in collaboration with their humane society at the front desk. I had the pleasure of walking simba every night and on my last day he was adopted! Amazing hotel!

This hotel has a lot of history and is very beautiful! The rooms are clean and very nice. They have a restaurant and bar on site, but the prices were quite high, so we chose to eat and drink elsewhere. Free parking & pet friendly.

Wendy a wonderful lady that makes the rooms so beautiful heard I had booked the wrong room... she took it up on herself to make sure the room I wanted was clean it had not been "booked" so she literally made it happen and we had a wonderful time! Best place to be felt welcomed. Everything they do is to make your stay better. Some of the comments are talking about it being outdated. I really think that’s one of the best parts. The food is great and there is plenty of things to see and do. Can’t wait to go back.

I really enjoyed my stay at the historic Blennerhassett Hotel. I received a warm reception and the service throughout was exceptional.

The interiors are elegantly furnished and clean. To be honest I was surprised and confused upon finding out that it is a 3 star hotel. Make no mistake, this is a 4 star hotel through and through.

The fitness centre and Spa services are a nice touch, the food and bar are great and there's always some wholesome event happening (when I was there the Christmas Tree Festival was on, which involved over 50 trees on display for guests to see). You can even book a haunted Blennerhassett tour!

The only hotel to stay at if you visit Parkersburg - with tons more character than the bland Hampton Inn.

This hotel is stunning. My room was incredible and the staff was amazing. I spent a lot of time wandering around looking at all the historical photos. It’s a must stay if you are in the are.

This hotel was so classy & old fashioned. We loved it. The bar tender was awesome & made a great old fashioned. The Christmas decorations were beautiful. The food was great as well.

If i could give this place 10 stars i would!!

We are from out of state and had a conference at the hotel. We had to plan everything remotely and with not knowing the area, it turned out FANTASTIC.

Kelly helped us through every single detail and was SO friendly! Even with last minute changes and details moved around, she was SO accommodating and willing to help every step of the way.

We couldnt have asked for a better experience or a better event planner to work with!!

Loved this historic hotel. The rooms were nice, the furniture is based on period style. We enjoyed the happy hour each afternoon at the quaint bar area before dinner.

My husband took me to The Blennerhassett for my birthday, spending one night. We stayed there several years ago, but I wanted to see the Christmas Trees. Wowza!!! Our room was great, dinner was spectacular. Our server, Scott was most attentive and fun to chat with. Everyone pampered. The continental breakfast was really good. Lived meeting Skye from the Humane Society. That is a wonderful partnership. Hope she gets her furever home for Christmas.
