Microtel Inn & Suites By Wyndham Mineral Wells/Parkersburg

I recently stayed at Microtel Inn and Suites in Mineral Wells, WV, and had a fantastic experience. Despite arriving late and without a reservation, we were warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who went out of her way to accommodate us. The room, though older, was clean and tidy, with convenient amenities like a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. While there were minor issues like a rattling floorboard and sticky toilet handle, nothing detracted from our overall satisfaction. The staff were attentive, and the property felt safe and comfortable, making it a great option for travelers passing through. Additionally, the breakfast options were impressive, with DIY waffles, apples, juice, coffee, tea, bread for toasting, muffins, bagels, small travel-sized JIF peanut butter, three types of jelly, and cream cheese to slather on toast or make sandwiches. Though the hotel could use some updates, it is well-maintained and offers good value for the price. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere.

For anyone looking for a great clean and quiet hotel this is your place. Comfortable beds,great customer service and hospitality..Nothing dirty or out of place in this Microtel. Chris Fain and his family do a excellent job to meet all your needs for a restful experience..As a Wyndham member I have to say I was not disappointed....If I could rate higher for this hotel I would give them a 10..

Had a short one night stay. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was hot and the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There was a young lady at the evening desk when we checked, and who was so sweet and warm.

Wife goes here when she has classes at the union hall. Rooms are really nice. Staff is great. Views are varied. The last room she had had a great view of the open field next to the building which was really nice. They have a pull that's 24 hours for adults.

Im a fan of Microtel, always clean simple and reliable. This one is no exception, I would recommend staying here while traveling, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.

Love this place! It’s so awesome! The owner is an amazing lady and goes out of her way to help her guests! I highly recommend this hotel! I have stayed here a lot. It’s the only one I’ll stay at when I’m in this area working and visiting.

Front desk was amazing. Breakfast was pretty good, shower was nice and hot with great pressure. Britney (sure I spelled it wrong) in housekeeping cleaned my room and did an amazing job. She even folded our personal blankets we brought with us. Will be staying the next time I am in town as well.

We came for a jobsite down the street from here, and we stayed here for three and a half months.
Rooms were always clean, and the staff always would accommodate to the best of their abilities.
The front desk morning shift was always friendly.
Breakfast is just ok. There are very limited options, and it would be nice to see some cookies in the afternoon like every other hotel I've been to.

This is a great hotel. The staff is so kind. Front desk is always willing to help in any way... Breakfast is okay. They have fruit and yogurt which I love. The room was very nice size. Several TV stations. Room was very clean. House keeping a big shout out to you. I am I. The area couple times a month and they always remember I want a extra blanket. Great bunch of people. The best of the best

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was. Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean, and good water pressure! Staff was excellent and extremely accommodating. I would definitely recommend!

We stayed over the Memorial Day weekend and everyone was really friendly and very helpful with anything you might need. I found everything to be very clean and I greatly appreciated the exercise equipment since I usually like to do some sort of workout when I can. I was surprised how nice everything was for such a good price! I read all the reviews before booking and they were are really great reviews and after going, I can see why! The beds were very comfortable and the free breakfast was really nice! We'll definitely go back next time when we visit family again!

This place was great! Stayed here for the weekend on a short vacation. Room was nice, beds were comfortable and staff was amazing. Everyone is very friendly, had no issue with other guests. Free breakfast was also good. We only experienced one issue; toilet had problems flushing - staff did their best to help us out. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area! It's very affordable too, can't go wrong.

This hotel was clean and seemed very new! The room was of ample size and the beds were soft. Staff was nice. Price was very very good. One night stay. Food was available but I did not look at the buffet. I will plan to stay at more of this chain the next 1800 miles.

The price, the service employees and the cleanliness of this place is awesome!!!!! I have stayed at the hotel next door a number of times for 3 times the rate. This is a little smaller hotel but I loved it! Will definitely be back!

We have to give this hotel five stars. The value is excellent - the price is modest. The sheets were clean, the room was clean, and the elevator was clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was more than adquate. If and when we make it back to Parkersburg we will try to stay again at the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

We are staying here right now. We've driven up from Florida for a family death. Tammy at the front desk, let me tell her all about my harrowing trip up as she checked us in. She was very sympathetic. Check in was easy and fast. The hotel smells clean, looks clean IS very clean. There are a few other hotels within a mile or 2 of here with higher class name and the higher prices to match. This one is a lot better than the others. There's a nice pizza place in the parking lot. Even they were accommodation. We'd been driving for hours and hadn't eaten, they were ready to close but took care of us anyway. If by an unfortunate turn of events you have to come to the area, I highly recommend you stay here.
