Quail Creek Shooting Range

I haven’t been to many outdoor ranges, but so far this one was the nicest. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and made safety a priority. Compared to gun shops, the ammo was very reasonable. The targets were well below average price. Each range officer took their job serious when it came to the safety of their patrons. I had an opportunity to speak with a couple of the staff members and they were very nice. I forgot to mention, I came on Good Friday and this place was packed. It’s a family friendly environment and I can’t wait to bring my wife and kids the next time that my wife and I are back in Denton.

As Firearms instructor I was able to rent the different bays and do dynamic drills which is a plus. David is friendly and helped set me up. You do have to pick up your own brass but overall range is nice and I plan on using it more.

I took my LTC class here and I want to thank my instructor, Lee Watkins. I got a lot out of this class, he was very knowledegable but still managed to make the class enjoyable for everyone. I also want to thank the fellas at the front desk, David & Dennis for helping me out when I locked my keys in my car! I managed to get it open but wouldn't have been able to do it without their help. It's a great spot with great people, and I will defintiely be going back for some range time and recommending Quail Creek Range to family & friends.

Went to go shoot my new .308 build and forgot tool to adjust my gas block. Staff didn't have one that fit the size I needed but using a couple different tools they were able to get one to work. Saved me from having a wasted day to having blast shooting my new build.

I enjoyed my self very much here all the range masters were great. Just wish they allow FMJ with the size if those berms I don’t think it would be a problem. But one of the best ranges!

I took my son for his birthday and it was an amazing experience very safe for an out door range with multiple ranges be ran. the employees where great and interacted with everybody which made the experience fun thank i will be back great for families

Great range reasonably priced ammo and knowledgeable staff. Safe and friendly good for young shooters just learning or experienced one sightings in a new build or purchase with 25 50 and 100 yd ranges. Also has pistol ranges for brushing up on accuracy or getting ready to get a license to carry.

Wonderful staff that truly care about safety and that their patrons have a great experience. Guns are just more fun when shot outdoors. (Notice - this is my opinion and preference. Readers of this review should not infer that I expect either to be adopted as their own 😁)

We booked at private class with Amy M. that included my 80yo mother who had never fired a weapon, my wife, my 14yo, and my 12yo who has been apprehensive in handling firearms. Amy made all of them very comfortable! Her professionalism and knowledge of every aspect, along with her focus on safety, was impressive- and by the end of the class my entire family were shooting safely and accurately. I cannot recommend Amy strongly enough for all levels of pistol shooting. Thank you Quail Creek!

Been going here for 20+ years. Great place for out door shooting. Wish they had 200+ yards range though it's Only up to 100yards. Some Metal targets would be great if they had them ad well. Other then that. Friendly staff.

Took my son here for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back every weekend since. Great place to shoot and safe. The range officers are helpful and friendly. Happy this place is near my home.

Staff are amazing and extremely good at there job. Prices are reasonable. Targets are very cheap compared to some other places. They also have a amazing setup. Plus the place is very clean. It is one of the prettiest scenery’s I have seen.

I took my two girls out there today to shoot a little. It’s a nice outdoor range. They really don’t like shooting at the indoor ranges, and neither do I. Very friendly staff and a great vibe. I’ll definitely be back!

Great place to go for practice.
They have 7, 15 and 25 yard pistol and rimfire;
Also have 25, 50 and 100 yard rifle ranges.
Excellent staff both inside and out.
Your safety is always the number one priority.
