Love this local hidden gem on the way to Texas city fishing dike. The food is fresh, authentic and all staff are friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Carlos the manager and long time friend is an awesome dude. I enjoy the food before he worked there and then going there now is 10 times all the better. And the upgraded look is so amazing. Love that place and always will. The owners are cool too.

I enjoyed eating here very much & in my neck of the woods where I grew up this place would’ve been named ‘El Charro’ or ‘El Sombrero.’ This is TexMex at it’s finest and not a place that is trying to be ‘autentico’ as well. I had a small chile con queso that was a little too thick. I also had 3 chile serrano toreados. And then the Laredo plate which consisted of 2 cheese enchiladas & 3 tamales with pico de gallo (which was extremely tired) beans & rice. The red salsa was superior to the green salsa (tomatillo overload) and water. Needless to say I took most of it home. They use American cheese which is not cheap and they’re not skimpy! The enchiladas were great; the tamales were perfect. Not huge dry tasteless gag you like some restaurants. They were petite and the flavor was excellent. I hope to try their fajitas and some margaritas next time! $20.17 for a table full of deliciousness!!

My husband and I went for lunch, they were super friendly, and for my bday gave me a complimentary margarita that was sized perfectly and strong for it's size. There was no watered down drinks served here. Was so nice! Their food was served quickly and was very hot and fresh. The #45 mini tacos (4) were so filling and the most flavorful and juicy I have ever had. Their salsa was spicy and delicious. We will be back and plan on telling everyone!!

Good food and good service. Their red salsa has a little kick and is tasty. Had the mini tacos and they were good. Wish I lived nearby so I could come back and try other things on the menu. Their Mexican hamburgers looks good.

We went during a storm after 8:30 pm on a Thursday. They were busy but service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. Some of the best Mexican food I'd ever eaten.

I love the ENTIRE menu, authentic tex mex, great tasting, large portions, worth every penny!!! very clean, great servers ALWAYS SMILE, GREAT lunch specials LOVE IT!!! 👍👍👍👍👍had breakfast today 5-28, it was SOOO GOOD, THEY EXTENDED TO 12NOON..LOVED, WAS FRESH TASTING NO GREASE TASTE, STAFF VERY ATTENTIVE, GREAT PRICES!! Have loved this place since I was a kid, I now work down the street and love going there for lunch, I get the 1lb of barbacoa, take half of it home for dinner, my boyfriend gets the cheese enchiladas and loves them soo much. My sister gets the carne asada plate and it’s soo good. Would recommend this place to anyone, especially my customers from my dealership at cook ford.

Wow. Amazing. My favorite tacos place. I'm not sure what they do to the charro beans and the carne asada but definitely my favorite place. Portion size is good. Salsa is the best around. You can even ask for extra spicy salsa.

Absolutely amazing staff and delicious food! Go for the chorizo, potato, egg, and cheese burrito. Heck, get two! Love this place!

The food is always good, friendly staff with quick service. Inexpensive but high quality. A Texas city must. The pastor is pretty good here and salsa is just the right amount of heat. Barbacoa is a must in a torta.

Food was absolutely great. This is our second visit and this place never dissapoints. Staff is extremely attentative and servicial. They checked on us frequently. Management was oustanding! Thank you so much.

This was definitely an amazing restaurant to go eat at. I enjoyed the amazing food and my plate was steaming hot off the grill. I recommend this place if you are craving good Mexican food and great queso with chips. The service was really good too.

Place is awesome, food comes out steaming hot all the time. And you won't spend a lot at all.
