Really great place to get your rod repaired! Bring it in, tell them what you want fixed, they hand you a claim tag, and then call you when it's ready! Really nice folks running it

I came in with my Dad's old custom surf rod from the 90's and needed a new guide since the old one snapped off after 30 years of use. They repaired the rod and managed to match the colors really well with the other remaining guides. Called me a week later to pick up and it hardly costed me anything to do the repair. I forgot how much it was, but it was surprisingly affordable (I think under $15).

They're also honest folks too and will not try to up charge you for unnecessary repairs. They insisted on only fixing what is broken!

FINALLY got to visit here. It was worth the wait! What an amazing local bait and tackle shop! Reel repair, rod repair, plastics, hard baits, custom baits, and local knowledge/info! I’ll support these folks every chance I get.

I brought my Shimano 2 speed reel to have it spooled with braided line. The owner added the braid to my reel for free! This is a small gem and hope they will be around for a long time!

Went to this place a few years ago for the first time and my girls left their jackets there. I showed up 1 year later and the owner remembered me and had the coats behind the counter. Absolutely amazing. Great shop, great tackle, great service.

At first when I was told to try Outhouse Tackle, I thought it was a set up. Right? No, its legit. Super nice old guy runs the place and can actually repair rods and reels. He knows what he is doing. Check it out. Be advised there is live security on site so mind your manners.

I had 2 fishing rod eyes replaced and the repairs were perfect! The thread wraps and finish matched the rods perfectly. Really a great shop, and friendly staff. We are lucky to have a tackle shop like this in the area.

I’m new to the area, EVERY TIME I have been in this shop they treat me and my boys like family! Very informative and a huge selection of Lucky Craft (which I exclusively throw)and Missle Baits, zoom, Gambler, The Big Show, and they have their brand “SHOALS” and their spinners and jogs are some of my favorites now!! This is a MUST go shop!!!

Carried my Air Wave surf rod to have an eye replaced and could not have ask for a better repair job. They only had it for a few days and the cost was well within reason. They will get all my needed repair for now on.

The guy working when I went in with my son was so friendly and very knowledgeable. Easy to joke around with and he also enjoyed talking to my son about fishing. It's a nice small little shop

Had a great first visit to Outhouse!! I've heard nothing but great things, and they did not disappoint. Friendly and super helpful with advise on the local waters. Wont be needing big box retailers for tackle any more!!

Quite, little local tackle shop with rod & reel repairs .... Owner was very polite, down to earth & very knowledgeable. Rod repair looked factory quality and was completed before estimated date.

Great selection of products and services! I needed two rods repaired prior to a tournament and they knocked them out fast. A hidden gem in Raleigh!

Jerry is a great guy. He provides repair services for most reels. He was able to repair my Penn spinfisher V reel with parts on hand! He is also knowledgeable on bass and other species unlocal lakes.

Had my rod tip repaired here and they did a great job! Would go there again! Staff was really. Ice and listened to what i wanted done!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection, and has that old school feel that you felt when your grandpa took you to get bait before a day of fishing.
