Richmond County Solid Waste

It was pouring down raining on this day of March 22 2024. On Issac Way The waste removal truck and crew was out picking up leaf bags and items that did not fit in the residential trash cans. I was so shocked to see that the guys were out there in the pouring down rain, that I went outside to help them. I just knew the crew wasn't coming out today, and woa was I wrong. We appreciate the Richmond County Solid Waste folks in the Walton Farms Community. Much Respect.

Been to a lot of landfills over the years, all were operated by some seriously unpleasant people. That is definitely NOT the case here. I'm always impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff is. Truly awesome people.

Very easy. Drive down deans bridge, pay five bucks for a regular pickup truck bed full of trash, throw it in the dumpsters and drive out.

Always pleasant and personable. The staff here have got to be some of the best in the industry.

Well organized and not expensive!

Normally it's a good place to go but today I went there at 11am and it was closed with no warning or explanation and it is supposed to be open. There were many other vehicles there that had to turn around too due to not knowing it was closed. Why was there no announcement that they would be closed? We traveled from Grovetown, not a quick trip

They lie about their times. It said 1pm and they changed it to 10 AM while I was driving here. Pathetic!

Saturday...the day before labor Day...checked the website...said open until noon...went at ten thirty...went all the way into the dump to be told we couldn't dump because they closed...turning every one away. And there were alot of people coming in...a lot.
