Donut King

Great local donut shop. The wife and I take our two boys here often. The owner is normally there, and he allows the boys to go back into the kitchen to get a fresh hot donut and see the behind the scenes operation. They obviously love that experience and talk about it all the time. It’s the little gestures that businesses make that set them apart from the competition. Donut King is out go to spot for weekend donuts.

Absolutely excellent establishment. Awesome staff every time I've been they are welcoming, helpful, friendly, and so kind. My nieces request every year because they get invited behind the counter and can fill a bag with as many donuts as they can fit - any and all - no questions asked. It is an experience worth the time, and the quality, flavor, and price is worth it every other day of the year. I live in Houston now, but I make a point to stop by when I'm in town.

Other noteworthy - clean bathrooms and inside, patio seating, great variety and selection. ALWAYS delicious and fresh. they have a drive through too!

Awesome CS as per usual. Went in to let my 5 year old do her free donut grab. She wanted a Sprite and I only had a card because I didn't realize they didn't accept cards. I told her we would stop at the gas station and get a drink on the way to school. Well, we didn't have to make that stop. They gave her the Sprite along with her full bag of donuts, free of charge. We love this place and my daughters truly enjoy getting to fill their own bag of donuts every year on their birthday. Everyone is always incredibly friendly and they go out of their way to make the kids feel super special on their birthday!

Hands-down, the best donut shop in Covington/Mandeville. The lady working there could not be any nicer and the food is absolutely amazing. Their apple fritter is out of this world.

They have AMAZING donuts! Their Rasberry filled are absolutely amazing!!! The people and owner are really nice people to top off the great experience!

Great donuts from a locally owned Bakery.

This place has the perfect doughnut, light, airy texture and glaze that isn't sticky or too sweet. The menu is simple and to the point, no frills but what you get is better than any fancy doughnut ever. Make sure you bring your cash and a little self control because you won't want to stop for just one.

Pulled in right at closing time and was told to use the drive thru and what a welcome surprise as the owner himself waited on us. We told him we were from out of town and he proceeded to tell us a lot of places to go and see around this area. Great guy!! Oh.. donuts were fantastic!!

The best tasting donuts that I have ever had. Friendly staff that supports the local community and treats you like family. Where I work we buy donuts when people accomplish things for the first time and coworkers special requests donuts from Donut King because there is no comparison.

A place to for hot donuts .That's made the old fashion way. They do something for kids on their birthday. From one Vet to anothe pay Mr.Keith a visit. And tell him Joel sent you. You can't go wrong.

Great place, they can do custom donuts, if you are into that, but otherwise they have a very large selection. Everything from giant cinnamon rolls to powered lemon-jelly filled donuts! This place has ample seating, and very kind staff! Easy to access from the road, and yes, it has a drive through!

Great small local business that has been serving Mandeville the best donuts ever! It's the only donut joint that I will go to. My only complaint is that they close at noon, so you must get there early! Also bring cash because they don't accept card.

I love this place. It's my new favorite morning spot to grab an early morning donut on my way to work. Great variety, great prices and the donuts taste awesome. The staff is friendly and it's easy access off highway 59 to their store.
