Bobbers & Beer Family Steak House

Michelle, our server, had excellent customer service, especially given our large family with lots of needs/special requests. She was attentive, professional, and friendly, making our visit top-notch. The salad bar is the best around, with fresh fixings, including large chicken chunks. We had the garbage can appetizer (yummy & unique!), coconut shrimp, chicken Alfredo, a kids' meal, and the soup/salad (unlimited for $8!). It was all very well-prepared, a good value and tasty. We live in the neighboring town, but we will be back!

Loved my salmon and broccoli and salad bar had iceberg or leafy green mix! Nicole provided excellent service and they are only closed on Sundays.

We started going to Bobbers & Beer when we discovered that it was a Buffet. My husband and I went and were very pleased with the food and the staff. Our waitress, Jennifer was so nice, it was a definite go back to place. And we did every week.
Then one day we went to have our wonderful meal at Bobbers, and the buffet was gone. UGH! We were not happy. But we stayed and ate anyway.
Jennifer is the main reason that we keep coming back. Granted, the food is good, the atmosphere is good, the price is average for a sit down place. We come back for the great service. Jennifer is actually happy to see us when we come in there. It's very nice. Now, if you would just lower the price of your soda and tea, we'd be batting a thousand Very Sincerely Barbara 😄💕

This place was great! Got catfish, it wasn't greasy, it was crispy with a great flavor. Tarter sauce was good. The Tuscan shrimp Alfredo was amazing! Staff was friendly and professional and the place was clean. The food came out quickly! What a little gem of a restaurant in Hartwell!! We will definitely be back! Definitely give this place a try when passing through Hartwell Georgia!!

This place was great. Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, & amazing food. The decor was very suitable since the lake is nearby. We ordered alfredo & the hungry man platter. Both were so good & very flavorful. The fried pickles are a great appetizer to start with & the salad bar was very fresh. All in all this restaurant is a great place to go & we will definitely be going back soon.

Just got into town, and looked up restaurants near me, this place popped up, so we gave it a try. From the start we were greeted by a friendly staff member, named Johnny, and he waited on us. He was so very nice and on it. The food was amazing. My only semi complaint, I guess you can say, is that the steamed broccoli was a little too salty. The salad bar was fresh and everything on it was very appetizing. Our food was seriously perfect. Do y'all make the dressings on the salad bar? Because they tasted better than other dressings we've had. Great place. We will definitely be back.

Great food, which that's a minimum. The great part is it's fast and friendly service. You can tell they put the money in the product and the help. Had a steak first time went back a few days later and got a hamburger. It was so thick and juice had to eat the last half with a fork. That's a good thing.

Good food! Says on the menu, if you're in a hurry you're at the wrong place. Still got our food fairly quickly and is definitely worth waiting a few minutes for their burgers. I'd rate them the best in town!

The best food in town. We eat there ever time we pass though and will not go anywhere else. Hannah is great the owner goes out of her way to make sure your happy. We will see you soon. Wish we could make happy hour best choice of beers.

Wow!!! This place is awesome!!! Friendly. Customer service is great The food was... I do not have any words. I was going to take some pictures, but it looked so good that I forgot to take them. I will be back, because she walked by with a steak for someone else and I could taste it when it went by... and you know I'm a meathead

We always enjoy a nice home cooked meal at bobbers and beer. Hannah and her staff are fantastic and really take time to care about their customers and what they are serving them. All the food that is used at this restaurant is fresh and made to order nothing frozen nothing from a Box. Hannah make some of the best shrimp and grits around. And if you wanna go really crazy try a Pete's Burger.

Fresh made when ordered food. All homemade everything. Best burger in town. Owner is always around and one of the nicest people you will ever meet, works hard to make sure all have a pleasant experience. Will be back everytime I am in Hartwell!

I was pleasantly surprised, the place was much nicer than the name would imply. I had passed by it many times at its former location and assumed it was more of a bar that served food than a restaurant that served alcohol.

The food was good, my husband and daughter each had burgers that were great but the fries they said were pretty greesy. I had the soup and salad. The soup was good but not very hot at all. The salad bar was okay, I'd have preferred more fresh veggies than so many things like beets, peppers, etc. I did like that they had spinach and craisins though. It was a little tacky that the server had to bring me my plate for additional trips as they only had tiny ones on the bar. They must offer "single trips only" with some dinners and don't want them to have regular sized plates for that or something.

The staff was all VERY friendly. We felt the server must've been new because she didn't know the answers to some of our questions and forgot a few things like the spoon for my soup! My husband had to chase her down to remind her so I could eat--might have something to do with why the soup wasn't very warm? I also requested a dinner roll with my soup, she said they didn't have any so offered some toast. I asked for wheat toast, she said they didn't have wheat, so I ordered Texas toast. She left to get that along with my spoon and brought back neither until eventually just the spoon. I would think her serving skills will likely improve with experience, I'm sure she was a bit overwhelmed as they haven't been open very long in Hartwell.

But overall, it's a very needed addition to Hartwell!! There really weren't any other decent places to eat there unless you want Mexican! There's one of those practually on every corner, okay, just kidding. There's another restaurant similar to this one, without a bar down the road a ways, but it's not very good at all, so this is a great addition and we would recommend it to our friends for sure!

Oh, and it's not finished I don't think yet, but it's decorated really cute. I love the fancy panels that they have on the wall bordering the bar from the diningroom. And I'm soooo happy that they DO NOT have TVs anywhere besides the bar! It's actually nice to have dinner and not have the men starring over the womens' heads instead of engaging in the table conversation. If your plan is to add them, PLEASE DON'T!!

Had the club sandwich with a side of Onion Rings. Was great ! Rings were freshly made & cooked perfectly. Love the sweet tea as well.
Ended up taking half the sandwich home was more food than I could eat.

Don't let the name fool you. Great family restaurant. Service was great. Best burger I have ever had. Definitely recommend trying them on your next trip through Hartwell.

We try to come by at least once a week. It never fails to be a nice meal.

Hamburger steak and baked potato were prepared exactly as requested and best we've had in quite a while. All 6 of enjoyed our meals and the service was excellent..they were crowded but food came out quickly,too.

Very good! Party of 10 and they were very nice and quick with their service. We will be back! Great pricing for a good serving of food too!
