Highland Bakery Downtown GSU

Wow! My co-worker and I were running an errand on our lunch break when she pointed this place out. I love decor. I wasn't going to have anything but she insisted. Glad to say I did. I loved it. I'm making plans to bring my wife/foodie as soon as possible.

Service was great! Food was amazing and reasonably priced! The portions are good, I had ham & cheese sandwich half portion. It was also clean and neat.. I can't wait to visit again an try more.

Love this bakery! They have the BEST shakes and smoothies and a ton of flavours to choose from. The service is pretty good and the bathrooms are really nice and well kept

Y’all the food is sooo gooddddd. I’m not even exaggerating. This is now my go to breakfast place before I go to school. Music is immaculate!!!!! Ian Keith Lee but forshoyarightonn!!!! Okayyy 10/10

Got the fried chicken biscuit and added pimento cheese. The biscuit was a perfect texture & the fried chicken was crispy and good ratio to the biscuit! You’ll bring the flavor over the top by adding the pimento cheese.

I love the atmosphere, food and service. This place is good for a sit down meal or a grab and go. It's also s good place to do work as long as you don't need a laptop or your laptop has an awesome battery (there are only 2 plugs in the whole restaurant). The prices are also pretty reasonable. Check it out of you can!

Really enjoyed the downtown location. Highland Bakery did an impressive job of bringing the quality of their food and service to this smaller outpost. Despite the size, I really appreciated the space. It was comfortable and open, and the kind of place where you can camp out and work or have an informal work meeting.

Well polished and well-run establishment. Great variety of sandwiches, soups, and salads. The prices are maybe a bit high for what you get but the quality is hard to beat -- I might go so far as to say this is the best sandwich-centric place in the area

Quick, excellent service and lots of choices both healthy and indulgent. Tons of seating. Not exactly cozy, though, and at lunch time the lines are long. Its one of my favorite spots downtown to get takeout.

I LOVE Highland Bakery. I believe this might actually be the only one I’ve been to. The Soup of the Day is always delicious (which you MUST get because, no matter what it is, it comes with a piece of bread with melted cheese and peppers on top). The sandwiches are out of this world! I just wish it was open on the weekends!

THE SERVICE GIVEN BY THE SMALL STAFF IS TERRIFIC!! COULDN'T BE BETTER...the food is great served quickly with a smile!!(even the busser team was handling customers with the BEST attitudes...)LOVE THIS PLACE!! RECOMMEND ALL OF ATLANTA TO, stop in for a great dinning experience!!!

I ordered the first sandwich called ultimate something, forgive me couldn't remember the name, but it's taste great! The environment is also good. Would recommend to sit in.

Love the Highland Bakery Downtown. The staff great and always helpful and friendly. The food s first class with soup, salads and sandwiches. I am so glad they are in downtown Atlanta.

Great place for breakfast. I stop here whenever I have time in the morning and get a Shot in the dark and a turkey sausage egg and cheese biscuit. I’ve lived in GA for a while, so believe me when I say this is a top10 biscuit! I would recommend this place to anyone who works in the area

Very fresh, tasty food with healthy options. It's kind of pricey, but they also have good coffee, pastries, and spacious seating.

Great downtown location of this wonderful bakery. Was happy to see they had the curried chicken salad sandwich on the menu at this location as well.

Best shrimp and grits I've had in a long time and their French toast was amazing!!!
