Margrate and Linda's Cafe

We ordered for our entire office (about 20 people) all individual meals, Margarate and Linda's Cafe went out of their way to deliver it to us even though we weren't in their immediate vicinity. The food was great it was nice to have some soul food instead of fast food. the staff was thrilled. i definitely recommend them to get the job and food done well. Thank you Margarate and Linda's Cafe!! <3

Horrible service...as we speak I am still waiting for my food. I placed two orders on grubhub at 1:53pm. These orders still haven't arrived. I called the restaurant only to be informed that they have one cook, who had to cook the food AND deliver the orders. When I inquired about reaching the cook/driver on his cell...the cashier said he was not picking up and told me to wait a little while longer. If I had known it would take 2 and a half hours...I would've placed a delivery somewhere else.

I wish that I could give this place NO STARS. MY food showed up TWO HOURS late. My food was cold and burnt when we received the order. I called to complain and they told me that I had to go through GrubHub to get the complaint filed. No problem. I called Grubhub because I wanted a refund at this point. The manager stated that we couldn't get a refund because we ate some of the food and there was no reason for us to eat the cold burnt food. Why wouldn't we when we'd been waiting for TWO HOURS?! Since I was not the one to actually talk with them (The Grubhub representative had to act as a go between) I was told that they refused to give a refund and they also refused to come and pick food that was untouched although they offered it before finding out that we ate some of the EDIBLE parts of the food! DO NOT order from here!!!! They may be better in person but DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT order from them through anything!!! You have been warned!

Absolutely horrible......I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. I ordered at 1025, food came at 1230. My order is totally wrong, bacon is burnt, inedible and so are the French fries. None of the condiments for the burger nor the Philly steak and cheese sub. By the way the "Philly steak and cheese sub" had about 2 steakums pretty much still in the rectangle form....they didn't even chop it up....all of this after the 2 hour wait. Ive called back 6 times, no answer. I will be making an appearance today!!! EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE !!

Terrible experience. I place an order at 10:40am and it was to be delivered at 11:50am. I called about it at 12:00pm they said it would be 10 mins. I called back at 12:30. They again had hundreds of excuses and said it would be 7 more minutes. I said if it isn't here in 7 minutes I don't want the food and I want a refund. At 1pm they called and said we are bring the food now. Where do you live. I said I didn't want the food, I want a refund. He hung up on me. Never got food and lost $20.00. Horrible place! I wish I had read comments about it before ordering. Will never order from here again. EVER!!!

This place has horrible food. The service was late. The order came wrong. And wow I looked through the reviews of women being harassed by him. He also asked my friend to be his sugar baby then when I told him to stop and threatened to tell he said its cause I liked him . he never paid her or me.

The manager hung up the phone in my face after never getting my food and waiting on it for 3 hour's. Them blame grub hub for there problem. I don't know how the food taste because it never came. They need to be shut down. I work in food service this is a problem for and restaurant. Bad for business.

The owner (Anthony Valentine) is a spiteful, horrible man! I worked for him for 5 days August 16-20, he said i would paid WEEKLY (5.00/hr + tips). HE STILL HAS NOT PAID ME MY MONEY AND TODAY IS SEPTEMBER 28, 2015!

HE IS A LIAR AND A SCAM ARTIST. DO NOT WORK FOR HIM!
HE TRIED TO HAVE SEX WITH ME. TRIED TO OFFER ME 2000 DOLLARS A MONTH TO BE MY SUGAR DADDY. AFTER I REPEATEDLY TOLD HIM IM NOT INTERESTED IN THAT TYPE OF RELATIONSHIP, HE CONTINUES TO HARASS ME BY TEXTING MY PERSONAL PHONE. THE WORKING CONDITIONS ARE HORRIBLE AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY. HE IS VERBALLY ABUSIVE.

I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE ON HIM FOR NOT PAYING ME MY MONEY AND I WILL BE TAKING HIM TO COURT.
