If I could give them 10 stars I would. This hidden gem was a recommendation from IG & I’m so glad I gave it a try. Went for my birthday lunch and food was absolutely AMAZING! Server was attentive, polite and engaging with our party. Food wait time minimal considering the chef was by himself and we had a party of 7. There was not a person at our table that didn’t take their first bite and was in love. Food presentation, also a 10, it not only looked good it tasted good. Very reasonable prices as well! Small seating area but offers a quaint atmosphere. Loved loved this place, will definitely be visiting again SOON!!

I live just around the corner from this place and finally decided to give it a try. Boy, am I glad I did. I am about to start wearing this place out. Everything I had was phenomenal. My mother also enjoyed her French toast. In her words, “I’m not a huge egg person but these eggs are great.” I ordered their chicken and waffles which comes with thighs or wings but I requested tenders and they accommodated me. Next time, I’ll try the thighs, I just didn’t feel like fooling with bone-in chicken. I can’t wait to come back! I hope this place stays in Westview for a very long time!

I ordered the catfish and grits and they were absolutely delicious!! It has a spinach, tomato and Parmesan topping that dances on your tastebuds but the show stealer was DRAPER the server…they are a one-of-kind, all types of lovely! I’d come back just for the service and totally stay for the food.

This was the Ultimate place to come. Every single bite was amazing enough for us to split a full meal between two. Ate here for brunch after getting engaged can't wait to come after our wedding 12/9. Awesome cooks. Had a punch that was sweet and refreshing as well. My new favorite place. Amazing. The ole school decor and music a extra nice feel the history of the owner. I told everyone I know about this place. We ordered California Love and Don't stand too close to me.

I found myself closing my eyes and humming like a baby. Everything was Seasoned to perfection including the quick service from Ms. Mercedes. I've never had an Arnold Palmer that tasted that good in my life. The food will leave you literally speechless! Looking forward to my next visit!

The entire experience was great! Our server was amazing, despite being the only front of house staff, she was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The wait time was short, food was delicious with generous servings, and prices were typical for a breakfast/brunch spot. Definitely will be coming back!

My close friend and sister, Deanna told me about Augie’s Cafe. I have never received such a wonderful greeting from staff at a restaurant like I did at Augie’s (Ralph David Abernathy Blvd). The cook Eric cooks like he is cooking for Jesus. The food is so good and to top it off the waiter, Draper is AWESOME. He treats you like family not a customer. When you visit Augie’s believe me you will go back. I have taken three groups of my friends and they truly enjoyed it and stated they will be taking their family.

One of my favorite things about visiting Atlanta was this little café. The food was DELICIOUS! I got the salmon and grits and was not disappointed. I'm not even a big fan of grits but I loved it! The toast is delicious and the chicken and waffles were great too! I'll definitely miss this little restaurant. If I'm ever in Atlanta again I know where I'm going for breakfast!

Draper was a superb server. Everything was delicious. My best food experience in Atlanta!! Thank you for everything.

I must say this place was so unexpected. This was my first time going to this restaurant for breakfast. Our server was so friendly. He wished me a happy birthday and I didn't even tell him it was my bday. He had a smile on his face the whole time. He pretty much seemed like family. The food menu is so dope, every meal is a named a after a song. On top of that the food was so good! I got full and still had leftovers. The one thing I will say is that the heat was pretty high in there. Hopefully, next time I go it's a bit cooler. Overall I would def visit Augie's Cafe again.

Saw a review of this restaurant on Hungry Black Man’s social media page. The food was delicious, large portions, and friendly staff. I had the veggie omelette with salmon. This was by far the best omelette I’ve had. The omelette was seasoned to perfection. I added the sauce from the shrimp and grits, this made it a tad bit salty. Will definitely be frequenting them.

Came here for a Saturday afternoon brunch. The place is small & intimate, so they don't do reservations unless you have a party of six or more ppl. We had a 25-minute wait for our party of four. The food was really good. I had the "You're The One I Want". My wife had the "Off the Wall", and we shared the "Listen to the Heart." If you can guess, the dishes are named after song titles. Everything was full of flavor, and the dishes were just big enough to get you full. Our server was prompt, and gave good service. They proactively add the gratuity into your bill as well. Parking is on the street, so find it where you can.

My family found this soulful gem passing through ATL at 7:50 am. The owner welcomed us in, and our server greeted us promptly. The food, atmosphere, & service were better than the reviews that drew us here. My husband had pancakes with/ sides, and I had parmesan grits with catfish. Portions were huge & absolutely delicious! Do yourself a favor and visit Augie’s!!!

Absolutely amazing food with great customer service! I had the catfish and grits, and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had! Full of flavor and just plain delicious. I also had the chicken and waffles, and they were absolutely delicious as well! For dessert I had the cheesecake and it was delicious. Bravo! I can't wait to go back! Please support this establishment. Very highly recommended!

Ah-Mazing food. Came here for food around Noon with my family. The place only sits like 8 parties or so. Very small. But it wasn’t busy when we went. The theme is like… old school soul music. Waiter was attentive but could’ve done a little better with checking In and getting us waters sooner. But the food… honey. The food was great!! When you think of the average cafe just know this food is ABOVE! I had chicken and waffles with side of eggs. And it was great. My ppl all loved their food. My dad said his grits were so creamy and bomb and he didn’t even need to add butter and salt like he normally does at other places. Every single thing is cooked to order. We didn’t have any drinks so no comment on those. Can’t wait to visit ATL again to come back.

Seriously AMAZING breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection. The to-go portions are HUGE. Not sure about in the restaurant but now I am dying to try them in person. I had the omelet and got a side of potatoes to try them and ended up eating all the potatoes and only being able to eat a few bites of the omelet lol. So tasty!

I had an amazing experience. The food was amazing. I got the chicken and waffles and it was the best chicken and waffles over had. I love eating at black owned businesses and it was the best breakfast one ive been to. I will be coming back for sure.

Zaria was our waitress and she was so attentive! She took such great care of us, gave suggestions on the menu, and was so kind. The food is excellent! The creamy parmesan spicy sauce is amazing. Pancakes are cooked perfectly. Our 5 year old loved it. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Atlanta!

Definitely one of my top 5 restaurants here in Atlanta. The food was absolutely excellent! I had pancakes which again is one of the Pancakes ever. The right texture and soft enough to absorb the syrup. The ",Don't Stand Close to me" omelet is by far the best omelet I ever tasted. Flavorful where all the ingredients complimented each other perfectly. The biscuit...omg the best ever! What can I say I was impressed with everything including the service. Definetly a gem!
