Rock Steady - Atlanta

This was an amazing experience. The food is great. We ordered 3 different dishes and shared them to explore them all, and they were delicious. I wanted to order more. The food came so quick, and the place was packed. There is an upstairs area like a club and dinner vibe and downstairs restaurant. After dinner we had drinks (they are good) and danced the night away. It was a great experience for an evening out, and it was my first time while visiting ATL. Best place I've visited all summer.

Had a great time at Rock Steady. We ordered the calamari, honey spicy shrimp, fried snapper, and lamb egg roll. The fish was a little soggy and know that spicy absolutely means all the way spicy! The ambiance was 👌 the decor, music and service were top notch!

I have heard a lot about Rock Steady, but this was my first time there. I parked my car in the valet lot in the back.

The staff was friendly and informative, and the food and drinks were great.

The vibe was cool and relaxed. The music was really good. I went on an early Saturday evening by myself. I had an early dinner, then went up to the lounge. The lamb chops were delicious 😋.

I had a nice time and made it home before dark.

This was such a vibe. Me, my spouse, and a few other couples got together for a date night here. The service was great, and our food was amazing across the table. After we finish eating, we went upstairs and enjoyed the party in the lounge. We will definitely run this back again.

Rocky Steady is a great place to visit for nightlife but I wanted to try their brunch and it was better than I expected. I got the cornbread and beef patties as an appetizer and the catfish and grits and lamb omelette which were all tasty. The service could have been a little better, after our first drink the waiter didn’t ask us if we wanted another drink or ask us how was our food when we got our meals. The drinks were tasty and the food and atmosphere made it a good experience.

Eating here was an amazing experience. I loved our hostess Ciara who made everything sound delicious and must-eat and it was!

I love the seasonings and creativity of each dish. I was with my peeps and had 2 cocktails, tried 4 appetizers, and enjoyed a curried Salmon as my entree. If you cannot handle spicy cuisine, there are a few things for you like the Goat Curry but please ask your server questions to be safe. The entire place just has a great vibe. I hate that I didn't get a chance to check out the rooftop.

A Night to Remember at Rock Steady

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Rock Steady and had an unforgettable experience. The ambiance was perfect for a special occasion – the decor was stunning, the low lighting created a romantic vibe, and we were greeted warmly by the friendly hostess staff and seated right away.

Our server, Ciarra, truly made the night. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered excellent suggestions based on our preferences. Her attentiveness was perfect – checking in after each course without being intrusive.

The food was nothing short of amazing. We started with small plates – the lamb egg rolls and fried calamari. Both were incredibly flavorful and perfectly cooked, with portions that were more than generous. For our main course, we shared the Berbere Lamb Chops and the Haitian Whole Fried Snapper. Each dish was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection.

My rum punch cocktail was delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. To top it all off, we were surprised with a decadent chocolate dessert and champagne to toast our anniversary – a thoughtful gesture that made our night even more special.

The excellent customer service continued throughout the evening. Not only did Ciarra provide exceptional service, but someone else also checked in with us at the end to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

Overall, Rock Steady exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

Enjoyed dinner with a group of about 10-12 people. Food, drinks, and service were great. They had live music and a dance floor upstairs.

Amazing food, staff, and atmosphere. The bartender is amazing, and our server ciara was pleasant and welcoming. On the upper level of the restaurant, their is an art gallery with a DJ, lounge area, and bar. On Wednesday night, they teach a dance class, and everyone is welcome to participate. The only turn-off was that they did not discuss initially how the bill was gonna be distributed. We were a large group of 18 persons, and they only split the original bill in 4 separate bills. So my spouse and I had to team up with another couple, and we had to calculate our own bill and taxes. It's an automatic 20% tip on top of your bill, and they don't take cash. Outside of this I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in atlanta.

Great place to wine and dine or birthdays…. Food was excellent atmosphere was vibrant and so many pretty people in one place😁after we ate they have an upstairs lounge/Bar might have to make reservations for the restaurant.

Everything was just sooo good, including dessert(s). The food presentation was amazing and IG worthy. Plus the decor was on point. Definitely a come back kind of restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious with very nice portions! We had the Calamari appetizer. The main entrees were Shrimp & Grits, and Mango Shrimp. The ambience was intimate and the DJ gave a great vibe! Grown and sexy!!! My first time there but I would definitely do it again soon!!

Celebrated a Graduation here today, and I had a great time. I'm Haitian also from Boston and we don't have a spot like this. Food was tasty, service was good, Laquita or lakeysha (Im sorry mispelled her name) was super nice. Thank you, I shall be back.

Omg, a girls night out for my birthday with my best friend and cousin. We had been to two other restaurants and they were all a bust. We came up on this place by chance of an amazing evening of delicious food and fabulous music. The service was fantastic and the food was just perfect flavorful and delicious. The drink the romance was so good….. strong a good it’s basically a leeche martini 🍸 I had two of them and believe me it was good. The only thing is parking is $20 whole US dollars tooo much!!!

It’s rare that I’ve been to a restaurant where the food, atmosphere (aesthetics), and service were all incredible! Rock steady not only has delicious food, great drinks, but also great servers like Ciara who anticipated our needs, gave us a run down of what to expect on the menu, and was actively checking on us to make sure we enjoyed our experience. After having been to many many restaurants around the world, the experience at Rock Steady has been one of the best I’ve ever had.

This was a return trip. It's always a modern/hip, well dressed crowd. The ambiance is smooth and inviting. Starting with the drinks; The Lemon Drops with tequila were on point. The Margaritas were straight. For entrees, Everybody's food was good and plated well but some of our service was slow. Prior to seating, we waited in the lounge upstairs which was cool. The bar is small and always crowded but the vibe is on point. The upstairs DJ is more lively in the lounge whereas the restaurant is more mellow. Downstairs has a separate DJ for the dining vibe.
I do wish the bar in the lounge was bigger or had better flow but otherwise and Overall, I do always enjoy the place. I would definitely recommend & clearly will be returning, yet again.

The restroom was clean & well lit. They offer valet parking for 20/30.

We had the lamb chop rolls and the janga dip with wonton chips. Very unique and taste so good, I've never had anything like it. The stepper is what I had for a drink. It had tequila with a guava watermelon flavor and a taijn rim. Pure excellence. Upstairs the vibe was on point. I've been to a lot of places but this one tops the list. Be sure to make a reservation before you go. It's hard to get in if you don't have it. The bar is open seating but having a reservation is the best option.

I’m actually sad that my leftovers are gone. (I’ll definitely be back!)

From the moment I walked in until I walked out, my experience was sensational!

Ambiance top-tier, service was also impeccable, BUT the food…the food y’all was AMAZING! It’s like the ingredients had a little party on my tongue, down my throat, and into my belly. 😂 I kept talking about how great the food was all throughout my meal.

My server was “Ariel”. She was well knowledgeable, friendly, warm & inviting. She explained the menu so beautifully; we didn’t have a hard time making a decision. She was very attentive and even brought out a birthday surprise for my guest. - Her service really sealed the deal for my review.

Rock Steady gives me ALL the bad and bougie vibes! And since I planned my best friends bachelorette trip, I had to add this spot to the itinerary. We stopped here for for brunch before enjoying a full day ahead. FYI: Valet parking only.

What caught my eye was the décor; very chic and classy. During brunch, enjoy their small and large plates menu along with brunch cocktails such as their Rock Steady, Hot Stepper and Get Bent cocktails. They even have mocktails which are just as good. Don't leave without trying the Rock Steady cornbread which comes with tri-colored pepper jelly and whipped butter. So delicious! Their sweet potato french toast is a hit too as it's topped with rum syrup, lemon mascarpone and candied pecans. We definitely ROLLED out of here, haha!

At the end, the waiter brought out a candle and dessert for the beautiful bride to be since we were celebrating her birthday too! Rock Steady gets 5 stars in my book. Sending love from New Jersey!

At this point, I’ve gone to all of the evening events here and it’s always a good time. I haven’t had a bad experience yet. Every time my family comes in town, I make it a point to take them here so they can experience an Atlanta good time. We’ve had Lilli as our server multiple times and she makes the experience that much better by being incredible attentive and kind to us all. Don’t sleep!
