Food is phenomenal. I mean every single item is delicious. They are very remarkable people very kind for the price of this food. Oh my goodness you can tell. They really put love into a cooking best spot on the southside hands-down.🙏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾💜

Ackee n salt fish was great the seasoning was on point. Boiled banana, yam and dumplings were good. I prefer fry dumpling so I bought one for $1. I bought a small but it was enough food for two. I give Fireside extra points for opening at 7a.m cause I’m just getting off work. I pick up my food, go home eat 😋then sleep🥱😴. I’ll be a regular.👍🏾

Great job and service. Their large is big enough to feed 4. I ordered the curry goat and oxtail mixed with spinach rice. Loved the spinach rice and it was a healthier option than the beans & rice. I highly recommend 👌

My wait too receive food was a little longer than expected, but the cashier was very sweet and offered a small discount as a token of our frequent patronage. Great food and shout out for the awesome customer service.

Authentic Jamaican Simply the Best on the Southside off Tara Blvd. Plenty of parking and seating on the inside. Huge food selection. Family or date night. The staff is friendly. The music is pure islander. Excellent Price.

I've been coming here weekly since it opened. Food authentic as always hit spot. I especially love when they have conch soup.

The cowfoot here is exceptionally delicious, almost like a heavenly experience with every bite. Kudos to this restaurant, a true gem that goes beyond just Jamaican cuisine, showcasing the rich flavors of the entire Caribbean region. Major props to them!

As the American kid of a Jamaican woman, I love Fireside. When I don't feel like cooking this is where I go. Ive been to most Jamaican spots in Jonesboro and Morrow and even Forest Park and Fireside is still my first choice. Really my only choice. Lately I have been getting Cowfoot and beans. My only criticism with this dish is there are NEVER any butter beans in mine. But they are always delicious. I just think it should have beans and if not, don't call it that. I also sometimes think the Jonesboro location is the forgotten location. Anyway, I love this place and I love the staff. They are always friendly and professional. I'm a lifetime customer as long as the food stays good and I buy food very often. So does my daughter. The restaurant itself could use a little spruce up. Lol! Overall, I love Fireside.

I had oxtails, spinach rice, and slightly undercooked cabbage, but overall, the meal was good. Also had a side of cow foot.

One of the best places to get authentic Jamaican cuisine in Atlanta! Served are always pleasant and helpful to their customers and you can call ahead to find out what they are serving that day, great customer service overall! Their Jerk Chicken has won awards!

Overall great place. The portion sizes were good and the workers are very friendly. Ordered the oxtail and loved it. Asked for extra sauce on the rice and we got a hefty amount!

Soooooo delicious! For $8 I got this delicious veggie stew peas meal and a drink! I ate the whole thing and feel like going back for more! Plus the service was sweet and friendly.

My friends recommended this place to me at least twice, and I finally made it here. The jerk chicken tastes like it’s fresh off the grill. The seasoning and spice is perfect (no overkill). My rice and peas were cooked the way I liked (tender), and unlike most “Jamaican” restaurants, they actually season the veggies. $13 for a medium-sized portion. A small would be plenty, but I wanted leftovers. I would definitely recommend.

My first time here and I was really impressed.. the amount of food you get on a medium plate is loco!! I had enough for dinner tonight!! I'll be back for sure!!

Listen... they going to feed you..the plate is worth the wait...Great real food.. food that is not fast but will last in your belly and won't make you smelly

Listen the best Jamaican food spot!! They don’t sell pork. But mi tell yuh.. Mever disappoint ever. And the portion is worth your money!! Dem Mek nuh money so they don’t have to be pinching food. That in itself should tell you something! Trust me you will be hooked! Big ups to the chef and staff. So welcoming!!

There's nothing fancy about the location. However! The dining area was clean, and the food and customer service were excellent! I don't live in the area, but I will visit again.

Omg food crack. Still the best. I changed it up this time and got oxtails. 😋 Man not only was it a great price it's was seasoned and cooked perfectly, not tuff. I love them. Great staff also. I didn't get to take a picture this time but it's gone now😜 maybe next review I will.

Delicious food for the soul. Nice environment, hard workers accomplished amking me and friend happy with full tummies
