Hunter's Cafe

I am so glad I found Hunter’s Cafe! Driving back to Fayette County from Oconee, I was hoping to find a good local spot for breakfast and boy, did I hit the jackpot!

Wonderful country cooking reminded my of my grandmothers cooking as a child. Heather was so sweet and rest of the ladies there were very nice as well.

Excellent selection of all of your southern favorites for breakfast. The prices are very fair and tue food was perfect.

I tried a pancake - amazing! For one it’s about as large as the plate but the texture is the just right balance between light and fluffy (not thick and dense) with a buttery sweet taste and crispy edge.

If you like tasty friendly county dining you’ve gotta give Hunter’s Cafe a try. Next time I’m in town I’m definitely stopping by.

Southern cooking served cafeteria style. It’s not fancy, but we’ll worth stopping for if you like down home cooking!

Been a southerner most of my life... never found a restaurant that serves real tomato gravy.
I got 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, taste tots, biscuit n tomato gravy, a pics of Boneless chicken and a drink for less than $10

We're staying at Indian Springs State Park and saw this restaurant listed as a good place to eat. We stopped by this morning before going to hike and found their breakfast fulfilling. The staff was nice and welcoming. If you're ever in the area, stop by and get a bite to eat!

Love , love this place. You want to feel full and like grandma is cooking for you again COME HERE !!! If there was 10 stars I could give this place. It still wouldn't be enough. Doesn't matter who you are ,you'll feel like family here .

If you are at Indian Springs State park and are looking for a great place to have an inexpensive breakfast with friendly service this is the place for you.

Real down home cooking. Everything I've had has been delicious. I've only ate here 4 or 5 times and all my experiences have been great. I love the peach cobbler. The fried steak was also very good. I pick up food for my dad and his employees, and they all love it.

Just ordered lunch for the family and it was delicious. My husband is very picky about his veggies and he said they were right there with his grandmas. The banana pudding was great also. The staff is very friendly. We will be making this place a regular.

I don't eat resteraunt meatloaf, till now. The food here is awesome. Staff is real friendly and southern charm. It does close at 2pm. So come early and eat up.

This is some of the best home cooked food I've had in a long time. The food is cooked with love, and the people there treat the customers like they have known you forever, even if it's your first time there. Loved it

The food is delicious and seasoned well. The staff is so friendly that you feel like family. The portions are very generous. The desserts are a big hit. We don't live near here. It was about an hour from us. We just happened to see it as we road by. It's definitely will make the trip to eat here again.

Hands down the best southern cooked food. This was my first visit and I will definitely be going back on a weekly basis!

I wish I could rate it with 100 stars! Absolutely the best place for a good country meal. The hospitality is amazing and prices aren't too bad at allBreakfast is my personal favorite. Salmon biscuit or the Chicken and Gravy biscuits is always my #1 go too..

The next best thing to your mamas cooking. Daily lunch specials with the best vegetables around. The peach cobbler a must have and don't forget the sweet tea. A real southern treat. Family owned and run.

Wanted to grab lunch in Jackson today. Picked a place I had not yet visited, Hunters. Lots of stuff in the buffet (they load your meal), but decided to get a bacon cheese burger. For the first time in my life the cook actually came out to ask me exactly how I wanted it cooked! I like medium rare burgers, but 90% of places just cook everything well done. The burger came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Sincerely one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life, and I am picky about burgers. Very large side of fries. The staff was very friendly. Will be back to try the fried chicken next!!

Love this place. Food is fantastic nice atmosphere to be able to talk with friends or small groups too

This was our first visit but it will not be our last. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Hunter’s Cafe is an excellent place to eat.
