The Yard Stop

I have been a customer for over 15 years. Jeff and his crew have provided foundation work, annual trims and pine straw, a landscape wall around my huge lakeside porch and weekly landscape maintenance. I cannot say how much I appreciate all of the above. I purchase my annuals and vegetable plants from him every year. I purchase his fresh vegetables every week during the summer and fall.
He is honest and his crew is wonderful. I cannot recommend this business more highly.

Loved the selection of flowers and plants. We have looked for periwinkle everywhere with no luck.

This is a fun and neat place to visit and shop! They have a great variety of plants and small trees. They have chickens 🐔 as well 😀 Very friendly and helpful people.

Awesome little place. Very accommodating. If they don't have it, they will typically be able to order it for you. Man that runs it is genuinely interested in helping you and learning new trends in the yard scene.

An interesting little place that my family visits every time we pass through. The prices of the plants and fall pumpkins are great.

This nursery is so cool! Bring the children on a field trip and teach them about the many different plant species. There's a beautiful wood pelagro and a Koi pond.😊🌞🌷The cats roam freely, along side the beautiful re-head chickens (coca do dodo). They had a nice variety of stuff in the inside; yard supplies and produce. The gentleman who helped me was polite, professional, and good 'ole down to earth people. I will be going back next payday. I got a few pieces of the Butterfly Bush, too. Next time, I'm going to get some herbs and Lambs ear.

Amazing place to go to buy fruit trees and any kind of plant, jeff is the owner he is nice and respectful he can also help you with any plant purchase. The yard stop will always be the first place I go to buy any kind of tree or any landscaping product.

I had a fantastic experience at The Yard Stop. I don't just mean that I got the product I wanted at a good price. I got all that and a great life experience to go with it. I had stopped at a couple of family equipment supplies in Henry County and they treated me like I had just stomped on their puppy. I needed information, not a bad attitude.

Jeff at The Yard Stop not only helped me understand what I needed to complete my project but he also took time to talk. He helped me understand why the product I needed was right.

His shop is a slice of the way we used to talk to each other and his business is the way we used to transact. He offered me a dozen eggs and some okra he had grown. He even gave me a big cup of boiled peanuts he'd been cooking all morning.

Shop how you want folks, but I grew up in the 70s and remember the neighborhood grocer and the roadside vegetable stands. If you are looking for a great life experience and a great product, forget Henry County and go on out to The Yard Stop.

Jeff is the kind of guy that reminds you that business is not always about the bottom line. Jeff is the kind of guy that reminds you that you'd like to live a couple years longer.

We have done business at The Yard Stop for many years. Everything from rip-rap for our bank, pine straw, sod, plants, and the construction of our beautiful retaining wall. This is a hidden treasure in Jackson...right outside of Covington, GA. Jeff (the owner) goes above and beyond to serve each customer and provide outstanding customer service.
His knowledge of flowers, trees, shrubs and lawn & garden beat Pike or Home Depot hands down. Jeff and his staff aim to please each and every customer.

A wonderful place and people to get gardening and landscape stone. Highly recommend this place. It gets crowded so try and get there early!

Incredible experience at the Yard Stop on Saturday. Jeff and Jason were so friendly and lovely, how I wish all businesses were :-)

We get our large Christmas Tree from here every year. They always have great trees and offer a great service. One year when my truck was broke down the owner let me borrow his truck to take my tree home. Great boiled peanuts also.

This place is a little jewel but I have to say the parking is a huge challenge. They did have nearly everything I wanted and after having driven an hour to Covington to another business (Master Landscaping) where I was turned away I was quite clearly helped at The Yard Stop without an issue. I WILL BE BACK however I CANNOT recommend the other business at all.

An absolutely wonderful place to go for supplies and outdoor. We go here every year for our Christmas tree and are always impressed with the selection, price and helpfulness of the staff. The owner of this business is almost always there and interacts with our children. Can’t say enough good things about this place.

The guy running his place was extremely helping and polite. He was so grateful that we came to his place. Awesome service and people! Would definitely go again.
