I was just driving through and saw their sign for lunch specials so I decided to give it a try. There is a good selection on their linchpin specials menu but I was hungry so I opted for the pulled pork bowl served over white rice and black beans.

The rice tastes fresh and fluffy and there is a perfect amount of black beans. There was more pulled pork than I expected and it is flavorful without needing to be drenched in sauce,

I would definitely come back to taste their other dishes and probably choose to sit in their outdoor seating to enjoy the view and breeze from the lake next time.

Ribs were falling off the bone and moist. Broccoli was perfect and the mashed potatoes were great. The waitress allowed me to sample the sweet tea which was sweet but not too sweet, however I still halved it. And if you go for lunch and you like rice and black beans this is a good place to stop. I will return and try this place again soon. The prices are not bad.

Really good drinks, & bartenders are very nice and friendly . we stayed at key west resorts at lake Dora .me and the service dog Delilah enjoyed our stay .This is where the hotel held there breakfast . The cook makes the eggs fresh on order . There are very few places where I like the eggs , yet these we're very good . I had a few drinks from menu and I was not disappointed at any point pace your self there awesome. Drink slowly . we did have a quick lunch here in which we enjoyed . you can see the train pass by the lake and the air boats land and take off. It really is pretty

Went to Shiner’s for the first time. Had a great time. The food was great the burgers was really fresh they have to be the best in town. Mae was an amazing server that made our experience exceptional. This is a must visit place.

Very clean and modern. The ribs are the best in lake county. Friendly staff & very cold beer. It retains the family friendly menu and vibe, a must try while in Tavares

Food was good, views are great looking over the lake. Service was excellent and food was delivered quickly. Great choice for a burger, loaded fries, ribs or a quick beer in downtown Tavares.

Very pretty and clean restaurant. The girls there are so nice!! They even bought me my first drink since it was my first time there. If I were to recommend one place it would be this one!!

Great ribs and pulled pork. All Smoked right there. The flatbread pizza is good too. The only place in Downtown Tavares that serves breakfast.

Great Steak and Cheese sub!!! Two bars and lots of different beers to choose from. One of the cheapest happy hours around. Friendly staff members.

Food was excellent as well as the service. Food came out quickly and the prices were reasonable. The view was also nice. Definitely recommend!

Mae (Mason) is absolutely amazing and sweet! I've tested her skills on drinks and I have not been disappointed a single time! She is my all time favorite!

Went shiners for the second time and just like the first time everything was awesome fresh hot burger and fries, my bartender Toby was amazing, Nice value for your money,both experiences were very very good

Mae (mason) is friendly and makes the best martinis and margaritas. Their fries are absolutely the best.

We are opening a business next door to this place. The owner here is this kind of neighbor that anyone wish to have. He is just adorable!
