This gym is fantastic! The coaches/owners are wonderful people and truly care about their gym family. They encourage the kids both on and off the mat to be the best they can be. Being the best they can be doesn't always mean winning. It's learning, being a good sport and doing better the next time.

My kids have been training at Mount Dora BJJ for the past 2 years, and I can't recommend this place enough! The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and dedicated to helping each student improve, regardless of their skill level. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for effective training.

The community here is incredibly welcoming and supportive. From the moment we walked in, we felt like part of the family. The classes are well-structured, providing a great mix of technique, drilling, and live rolling. Whether you're a beginner looking to start your BJJ journey or an experienced practitioner wanting to sharpen your skills, Mount Dora BJJ is the place to be.

Could not ask for a better Jujitsu experience! As a mom of 5 wild and fun boys, my husband and I chose this Jujitsu for the amazing structure, love, discipline, and faith that is poured in and pours out of this beautiful wide open gym. I have seen such a change in my boys! 2 of my boys were quiet and shy, now they are confident and blossoming. While 2 of my boys were wild and non stop even aggressive... now they are content to leave it on the mat and much more respectful. The coaches are so involved even off the mat! I've been able to voice concerns from home behaviors and the coaches were loving yet stern to change the boys attitudes. This place if incredible the family atmosphere is beautiful. I tell Coach that I can see Jesus in them they truly have made an impact in the lives of everyone who comes here. I am so excited when they have guest coaches come in. Strait Champions in wrestling and MMA coaching my little dudes! The heart and grind shows here!

My son had the best summer camp experience here. The owners/coaches treated him like family and went out of their way allowing him to attend extra classes when they didn’t have to. They are great people that teach the kids so many things! I’m not even exaggerating when I say he did more crafts here over the summer than I saw in the 3 years at his school he attended before camp. Thanks for everything and Keep up the great work!!! He’ll be back next summer!

BEST GYM IN LAKE COUNTY!!! I’ve been to MULTIPLE gyms in the 28 years of my existence, and this gym by FAR has the most “welcoming atmosphere “ . Coach David and Coach Annie are down to earth and as real as you can get! You feel at HOME soon as you walk through their doors. I also have 2 children that have attended for over a year now. My 5 year old (was 4 at the time) has made TREMENDOUS progress with his behavioral issues. I refer this family owned business to everyone who has had questions. I myself being 28 and my husband that’s 31 have recently joined the self defense class and LOVE IT!! This family is also very thoughtful enough to drive all the way to my sons school and add him to the route for after school pick up when they honestly didn’t have to, but they see potential in my son so they went that extra mile. They also do camp! It makes us working parent’s RELIEVED knowing our kids are in a SAFE place and having FUN so we don’t have to call out of work when the schools are closed! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Well Knowledge in the craft and have an amazing love for the students. The structure and discipline taught at Mount Dora BJJ/MMA Academy has been very beneficial for my son.

The Coaches really treat the students as if they are family. I would recommend trying. Thru offer a trial run no cost. This is definitely an investment.

My kids started at the Mount Dora BJJ in 2018. The changes in my kids are truly amazing! My daughter is more confident. My son is learning better self control. Both kids are stronger and over all well rounded.
Coach David and Coach Annie pour so much into my kids. They are strict, professional all while loving and nurturing. I consider them part of our family!
I also like the flexibility with jujitsu classes. They are offered five days a week and we get to pick what days work best for our busy lifestyle.
They also offer adult workout classes through Elevate Fitness so I can workout while my kids do their jujitsu class. It’s a win win for us all.

Taking my daughter to train with MDBJJ academy was the best decision I have made for her. I also made this decision for myself as I decided to start training as well. The coaches are wonderful, understanding, patient and just all around great people. This is not just a place you can go if you want to train and do competitions, it’s a place to learn self defense and you have fun while doing it, it’s not all work and no fun. However, do be prepared to put work in cause they won’t let you slack. Everyone should learn and train and the best place for that is MDBJ, come on and train with us! It’s what you have been needing and didn’t even know it, no matter your age!

Coach David and Annie are the best. Great BJJ and fitness training gym in lake county. They really do care about people. The camp and after school program helps the student so much,I've seen a vast improvement in the behaviour of my daughter since she started training there. Coach Ronnie is awesome, love the kickboxing class he does. All around the best gym and awesome facility.....

Mount Dora BJJ is hands down the absolute best!! Coach Annie and Coach David have such a special heart for not only the gym, but for every single person that walks through their doors. From day one, I knew this place was special. The way they pour their time, talent, and love into my child and our family shows just how much they truly care. Also, God is always at the forefront of each class, tournament, and decision, which means the world to me. You will gain so much more than just training from this academy.

I’ve been here for about 6 years and I have nothing bad to say about this gym. They foster a well disciplined environment promoting excellence in Jiu jitsu and MMA. I was lucky enough to bump into Master David at my job and we began talking about BJJ. Upon finding he was the owner of Mount Dora/Eustis BJJ Academy, I nervously went to my first day class. I was bombarded with students introducing themselves to me and I have honestly never felt more welcomed to a new community in my entire life. The gym was extremely clean and smelt great! Coach David and Coach Annie are a fantastic team. They are very patient and will take as much time as needed to work out any details. THIS IS NOT A "SINK OR SWIM" SCHOOL! Every student is involved in helping each other grow. I would highly recommend Mount Dora/Eustis BJJ Academy to any person who is even thinking about training for any reason. It is very evident that this is the premier Academy in all of Lake County, I would never train anywhere else!

This gym combines family, structure, disciple, and training into fun and educational classes....It has not only been a blessing to myself but I have seen amazingly wonderful changes in my kids as well. My hubs and and I love it and our kids are always begging to go. This gym offers something for EVERYONE!!! Train like a team, Fight like a family and this is the place to do it!!! Absolutely THE BEST!!! My son started training here about a year ago and this place combined with the people was our saving grace! My son was angry and acting out and In just a few weeks I saw a significant change in him, i feel like I have my son back!The owners make this place so special! My family has been going to Mount Dora BJJ for years. If you're looking for a jiujitsu gym, look no further. The coaches are amazing and help in anyway they can on and off the mat. They've even went as far as helping the kids with homework. They are truly amazing and everyone is treated more like family than any other organization that I've ever been a part of. They offer tons of classes and times and even do one on one sessions. There's an on-site massage therapist, and they also offer yoga classes with a great yoga instructor. They really do offer it all.
