Tacos Chiapas

The Al pastor is amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and normally just get tacos. Today I had an Al pastor burrito and I’m pretty sure it changed my life. $12 and it’s enough for 2 lunches. I may need a nap after just 1/2. Photo is the second half!

Talk about the real deal!! These tacos are freshly made per order, these are authentic and delicious Mexican tacos.

So far I'm in my #6 taco ha hahaha shhhhhh yes and I'm about to eat my #7 taco, yup they are that good. The Birria Tacos, make sure you dunk them in that delicious sauce, you will not regret it. They are on the small size but are BIG in flavor, super tasty.

They have a cute seating area as well, in case you want to eat them there, I had mine to go. And also have sodas for sale.

I've had a few really good tacos in Central Florida but so far these have been the best authentic ones I have had around here. They are on the small side though but HUGE in flavor. Came in for 3 tacos and ended up having 7, just couldn't have enough!, very VERY good.

This place is delicious and the price is always great (items are all under $10). We come by for lunch in the afternoon and always enjoy our meal. Portions are HUGE and you’ll always leave feeling full.

Genuinely the best quesadillas I've had in my life. There are a few different restaurants in the area that serve quesadillas, but none compare to the ones I've had here, even outside of the county. You're missing out if you don't try the food at Tacos Chiapas. No question to it. The price is perfectly reasonable, too!

My first time was today and I will be a customer for life now! I had the Birria Tacos and I can honestly say they were the best tacos I’ve ever had!!! So flavorful cooked and seasoned to perfection, served hot and fresh.
The customer service was better than a five star restaurant. Super kind, extremely friendly, great quick service and very clean environment. Love this place so much☺

Hole-in-a-wall taco truck, set in a desolate location that’s worth every moment and your taste buds will be very thankful! I’m always intrigued by a family owned foodie spot. Chiapas hit the spot!

As for your hosts - Marlene and Karina… amazing young ladies with great attitudes, smiles, hospitality and promptness. I’m not from the area. I’m here visiting my mother and took her to the Orthopedic office down the road; had time to waste and figured I’d take a drive in the area. First place I spotted leaving the office was Chiapas, this quaint little red colored food truck in the corner of a parking lot. I was intent on stopping there on my way back. I’m an avid foodie, always looking for something new and different.

Taco trucks are common in society however, while Chiapas didn’t have a glorified look (large appearance, colors and logos) that seemed so inviting, I am extremely glad that I stopped over. As a starter, I tried the pork and chicken tacos and although they were small, they were fresh, delicious, and filling that hit the spot. There are other menu items that I’ll certainly try next time. The prices are cheap increasing the temptation to order more than you can eat. Little wait time to order [when busy] but food comes out quickly. Only downfall are the hours of operation (11-3pm Tues - Friday) which makes coming here for lunch the only option but worth it. Remember to call the Google established number if ordering ahead, not the Facebook number.

Chiapas is the epitome of quality! Definitely coming back and highly recommended!

Every time I drove by they’d be closed but finally got to try and they were very tasty! One of the few authentic Mexican tacos in lake county! The meat was perfectly cooked and the tortillas held together the taco perfect. The price is decent too! Will definitely be going back again soon!

The customer service was amazing. My order was done super fast and they even take card as well as cash. Pork was to die for same with the steak. Very friendly place to enjoy tacos. They even have a great sitting area as well. If you are looking for something near by for a great price i would definitely have to say stop by this place. If they had a 10 star i would give it to them for sure.

I've been going to this place for some time now, and I can honestly say they never miss a beat. The food is always fantastic. The owners seem like great people, with a passion for serving fresh authentic food. The prices are without a doubt reasonable, with a fulfilling plate. Highly recommended! Great job ladies.

I was searching for a place for lunch when Tacos Chiapas came up on my search I choose to try it it didn’t disappoint it was I best street taco and worth the price and very friendly staff and fast service. I will definitely be returning her again.

Very authentic and good experience all around. From the small outside tables to the quick orders. Ive ordered a total of over 90 tacos from here and thats going to look like a small number soon. I used to go to apopka for good tacos but this place has tacos with a salsa that packed a mean punch.

We stopped by for a bite about 30 minutes before closing and they were still slammed busy. Said our food might take up to 25 minutes if that was ok. Cool with us. Food came sooner than that and they threw in a free taco. The food was TOTALLY worth the wait and the service was GREAT. I'll definitely come back.
