Mt Olive Cemetery

When you visit The Mount Olive Cemetery, in Eustis, Florida, you will notice that it is primarily a historically black graveyard, there are headstones that date back to 1909.

In 2004 the Mount Olive Cemetery was designated as a historic landmark.

The 10-acre property is very well maintained with easy access into the cemetery with no gate.
There is no restroom facility.
There is no handicap pavement.

Real spooky at night. So I wouldn’t recommend unless you go during the day. But other than that it’s a pretty nice cemetery

the cemetery is big, opened around 1909...lots of empty space.

it does not appear to have a steady caretaker as the Graves have lots of debris, moss and branches on them.

there are lots of grave stones that were broken and laying on the gound or other Graves.

there are a lot of Graves covered with grass, weeds and branches and several where trees have grown real close. lots of headstones are dereterated towards the back and sides
