It was great!! We learned a lot and our guide took extra time to point out wildlife! She taught us about mangroves, Florida’s history, informed us about species, and answered every question we had. We would highly recommend.

We had an amazing time, Liz was our captain and was fantastic. We kayaked around the mangroves and even saw a baby shark. Then we went snorkeling in a sponge garden, there weren’t a ton of fish we did see a couple jelly fish but it was still a fun time. We had some extra time so enjoyed our drinks, snacks they provided and sat in the sun for a bit. Highly recommend this tour.

My wife and I took a catamaran sail with Key West Echo tours yesterday with the captain, Kelsey. Kelsey was great and very knowledgeable about the marine life Eco system. Kelsey was very accommodating and took us through the mangrove tunnel with kayaks and then snorkeling. On the way back, we had a great sunset cruise. My wife and I had a great relaxing time on the catamaran and Would recommend this to anyone. It is best to go out for lunch prior to the trip.

We’ve been wanting to try the Java Cat for some years now and we’re glad that we finally did. Captain Bethany was super personable and knowledgeable and made sure that we got exactly what we wanted out of the experience. We wanted to snorkel the whole time and she took us to several places in the wildlife refuge that the big boats can’t go due to lack of draft. Highly recommend this outing!

This is the second time we have taken a guided tour via kayak out of Geiger key with Eco Tours and once again very happy. Perfect weather and perfect adventure. Our tour started on time and Kristen our guide was very nice knowledgeable. We had a very private tour just myself and my partner. So much fun toom our time and got to see several nurse sharks. In addition saw lots of diff types of jellies, starfish, some cucumbers. We had a get time just cruising along the currents. Highly recommend this trip Carla's and George's team members are excellent. We highly recommend it.

We luv outdoor water activities especially supporting Eco Tourism, thus, we decided to take a kayak tour with Key West Eco Tours.

It's especially cool to kayak around the National Marine Sanctuary leaving from Geiger Bay.

Don’t you want to be here overlooking these beautiful palm trees and blue sky?

In addition to kayak guided tours, Key West Eco Tours also provide sailing, peddle boarding and snorkelling.

For our kayak tour, we had a really nice guide named Jamie who led the group out with enthusiasm and explained things in a way that was easy to understand especially from a kid’s point of view.

There were tons of jellyfish and at one point we got to see one up very close! Jamie scooped up a jelly fish in a jar and it was passed over kayak to kayak so everyone could see it up close. What an incredible experience!

At one point when we kayak crossing over a school of nurse sharks, that was really really cool!

The owner, George was also extremely nice an funny which made the waiting time to get on the kayaks go by much quicker.

We highly recommend Key West Eco Tours and will definitely book another tour again if we visit The Florida Keys in the near future!

We did the 4-hour split tour on the Java Cat and had a wonderful time. My wife and I liked that there were just a few of us on the boat, making for the experience we were looking for. Bethany, our captain, shared a lot of interesting history and was fun and skilled.

We took the dart tour with Carla. She was patient with us as we quickly ate lunch before we left. She was informative and fun. The water, the dolphins and the shimmering sand bar along with a winding trip through the mangroves highlighted our whole trip to Florida!! We will never forget what an awesome day it was and how Carla guided us to experience the best of Key West!! Worth every penny!! Highly recommend- thanks Jill

Had a great time with Captain George on this trip. Incredibly reasonable for the amount of time and the fact that you kayak and snorkel. We're avid kayakers, so that part was a little boring for us, but the rest of our group really enjoyed it. The snorkeling is great for beginners or for people who don't want to snorkel all day. This is a great trip for beginners, families or people who like a mellow adventure. I highly recommend!

This Eco tour was the highlight of my husband and I's trip to Key West. We LOVED how informative it was. Our guide new exactly what he was talking about. Being on the paddleboard and on the water was exactly what we needed and we were so excited to be paddling above sharks and other beautiful sea creatures. We LOVED learning all about the different mangrove trees and even tasting how salty they were. It's a good length tour. You'll definitely get your moneys worth, but it does get HOT. So come prepared with hat, sunscreen, and water bottle.

What an amazing day on the water aboard Patty C. Evan was a great captain. He took our family out first to see dolphins. We found them right away and he really understood dolphin behavior. Then we went out to a great spot for snorkeling. He taught us the equipment then took us down to see some amazing wildlife. He sliced up some pineapple, played some tunes, we really felt a part of the Key West lifestyle. What a great day in the water. We'd totally recommend this tour boat to others.

This was a fun informative kayak tour. A couple of tips, around noon it gets pretty hot so be sure to wear a hat and hydrate. Its a really beautiful place and there is a restaurant next door to hang out before the start time. Overall a really fun tour in the Red Mangrove Forests of Key West.

Our family had a great time on a private eco tour. We were picked up and dropped off at the hotel and they covers everything including water, sunscreen and towels. We learned a lot and had a perfect day on the water. Very friendly staff!

Our family of 5 (kids ages 10, 8, and 5) went on the 4 hour Catamaran sailing trip with kayaking and snorkeling and with Bethany as our guide. This was the highlight of our trip to Key West! The weather and water were cooler than usual, so we spent more time out on the kayaks--we enjoyed learning about the mangrove trees and saw small fish, lots of starfish, a small shark, a tree crab, and plenty of different species of birds. The kids did not go snorkeling since the water was too cold, but lots to see there too. The sailboat was a relaxing trip to and from the nature preserve. Would love to do this again on our next trip to Key West!

My party of six thoroughly enjoyed our experience with Captain Willie and crew of Issac and Kaitlyn. They did a fantastic job manning the boat and ensuring our safety, finding every opportunity to show us the fantastic fish and animals in the water — so many dolphins!! - while also demonstrating mindfulness of environmental impacts of this water tourism. The boat was very clean, and the food served was very good. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend and will hopefully do again.

Captain Bethany was amazing! Very friendly, professional and overall just a nice person! She had great information about the area we were exploring, She was very patient with our family of five and our inexperience. We did the half day sail, kayak, snorkel, and we had a good amount of time for all activities. We will look to book again with this company if we are back in the area.

Captain Bethany provided our family of four with a fantastic personalized experience! She was so friendly, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and mangroves. We all learned a lot, but had a blast in the process. A great way to sneak in some “education” for families with kids😀. Bethany made it clear that it was our trip, so she wanted to provide us with the opportunity to decide where she should take us based on our preferences, which was fantastic! We loved the catamaran experience to and from our kayak and snorkeling location. We chose to do this kind of tour as a great way to have fun and still social distance during the pandemic. We definitely made the right decision, and we would highly recommend the experience to anyone!

Our tour guide, Lucy, did an amazing job with our tour. My husband I were the only ones on the tour so she allowed us to customize how much time we wanted to spend kayaking or snorkeling. She made our trip extremely comfortable and was very knowledgeable of the region. I would highly recommend the All in One tour since you get a taste of different activities on the water and is great for beginners. We saw several sea turtles and even an octopus while snorkeling! Definitely one of our favorite things in Key West so far!

Java cat private tour was AMAZING! Captain Kelsey, our tour guide was fabulous. We saw horse shoe and blue crab, various birds snd fish, dolphin and a sea turtle. She was great at finding these and explaining everything about the mangroves. It was definitely a wonderful and personal experience!
