Beaver Creek State Park Family Campground

Absolutely gorgeous campground. Stayed in one of the Sherman cabins. It was clean and well maintained. The fridge, microwave, ceiling fan and heater worked great. There was also a small supply of paper towels and trash bags. The camp host was friendly and helpful.
The campground itself was quite peaceful. Very relaxing. There is a strip mine reclamation happening, lots of new trees planted. Looking forward to seeing it in a few years when the trees have grown.
The North Country Scenic trail runs through the campground as well as a few other trails. I would like to have explored them all. Will definitely be back.

Nice campground for tent camping. Our site had plenty of space, with a fire ring and table. Great views.
Pit toilet was clean. Short 6 min drive to the main park, but hiking trail from the middle of the campground.

Like the campground, not too crazy about the narrow winding road to get here. Cute little cabins, good camping lots, bring plenty of water. They have sun shower rooms. Why can't all parks without water showers have these? Seriously. Or better yet, even if you do have a couple of water showers, still put in a couple of sun shower rooms.😏

Had a Awesome time at the biker breakfast,Stayed 4days at the park. The only thing missing are the showers. Bring you're own Sun Shower bag. Very nice park

Only a few spots with electric,lots of primitive camping and 2 cabins to rent, playground for the kids and lots of hiking trails

My friend and I went in March on a beautiful weekend. There was no one else there. The campsite was amazing, plenty of space for both our hammocks, and a tent. The fire pit was spacious and had a grill to use if you'd like. The outhouse was close by, and was one of the cleanest outhouses I've ever seen. And I'm an eagle scout, so I've seen a lot of outhouses. There is a gorgeous hiking trail, just a short walk from our campsite. It went down to the creek, and connected to miles of other beautiful, fun trails. Also, the park ranger was very nice. He was very friendly and really cared about everyone having a good time. I will definitely be going back asap. Couldn't say enough good things about this park.

Fresh leaves coated with fresh rain made the trails a bit slick and sketchy today, but still worth every minute

Small campground, with a few electric hookups. We took our pop up camper there for one final fall campout. Beautiful foliage. Nice little rustic village in the valley below the campground.

Great trails, beautiful scenery

So peaceful, we love it here! We have tent camped (primitive) and then used our popup camper at one of the sites with electric (my favorite). We too listened to the owls hooting to each other and even could hear cuyotes in the distance... Great place to unplug and unwind from the noise. 😉

Really helpful place! Staff is friendly and I had an easy time finding a spot however I highly recommend saving a spot alittle before hand because spots go fast! But it's a good time down there!

Great campsite but be prepared, they only offer outhouses for restrooms.

My favorite place in Ohio to camp. We drive from Columbus for the peace and quiet, plus the owls and occasional Coyote call.

Excellent place to go, visit the pioneer village then go for swim in Beaver Creek . Camping facilities are excellent from primative to drive thru

I love the campground here no matter how busy it gets it always seems quiet and peaceful
