East of Chicago

We normally go for their buffet when we do visit and it's always a nice time with a small town feel. Nothing fancy but pizza is good, they accommodate kids pizza preferences at the buffet.

The best pizza buffet in the area! A great option for lunch or dinner. They always have a good assortment of pizzas, hot sandwiches, and soups. I have never had a bad pizza here. The staff are friendly and helpful. The street sign could use a little TLC but hopefully they get it fixed in the near future.

It's been years since we ate here. We got the buffet and it was worth every penny! I have a 3 yr old whose very picky and wanted just about everything from buffet but wouldn't eat it so our waitress went back and made her a couple chicken nuggets :) my daughter ate everyone of them. And they didn't charge me for them. I recommend east of Chicago lisbon location to everyone. Thanks again to the lovely people who own and work there. We will see ya soon!

Edit: This was in my drafts. We went 2 months ago and plan to go tomorrow again. It's worth the 40 min drive.

We went to try the Chicago style pizza which was very good we ended up getting the buffet which has a ton of options. Great, friendly staff!

Excellent food. We ordered the Chicago deep dish pizza, parm pops, wings and Pepsi for dinner. We than ordered a chicken bacon ranch hogie and Italian hogie to take home for tomorrow. The staff is very kind. We drove from Pittsburgh PA. It's worth the drive. We want to thank Denna for her kindness and making the visit so special.

Loved their Chicago style pizza. They worked with us, allowing us to take it par-baked to finish it at home. Fabulous. Must have more.

We came for the buffet at 7:15 (ends at 8) and were a little worried it might be old and picked over. Not the case. It was a decent pizza buffet and was even better after the waitress (and I believe owner) asked us what pizzas we wanted on the buffet and made us multiple fresh pizzas. They also had a salad bar and deserts that were very good. The service was great for how busy it was and the amount of people that were working. We haven't had a pizza buffet since CiCi's in Niles was open so we had low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. We also thought it was a very fair price at under $10 per person + drink. They had bottled water which is important to me.
We will definitely be back and I'm hoping they keep the buffet open for a long time. Thanks for the great food and service!

The server who worked tonight on 12/26/23 with Dark hair was absolutely wonderful! Hope to have her again when we come back!

A great lunch buffet on Sunday afternoons. We never wait and they always ask if we want something added to the buffet, like a favorite pizza. The salad bar has two kinds of soup, something I prefer in winter months. The salad toppings are varied, plentiful and fresh. The lettuce is only Iceberg ☹ The dessert Cinna-Pops ate addictive so save some room. A nice family atmosphere.

My wife wanted to give the buffet a try! The pizza was hot&fresh! The salad bar was fresh also! My wife asked the waitress if they could make a BBQ chicken with mozzarella cheese, and pineapple! They did, and it was amazing she said! Hawaiian Pineapple Chicken BBQ!!! I don't recall the price per person, but if I had to guess? Under$15???

Haven't been there for years,we used to go there frequently in the past,my daughter is allergic to wheat and we used to take an alternative crust with us and they would use it and make her a pizza of her choice,the two of us decided to go there and were not let down their buffet is the best deal for the money I've seen for a long time,they will make a pizza to your liking on the buffet,just ask,nice salad making chance with two kinds of soup, please check them out you won't be let down,it's truly a bargain for the buck👍

GREAT Chicago DEEPDISH pizza EAST OF CHICAGO! And they even have a Soup & Salad bar with a Pizza & Sub BUFFET!!!

This is by-far the best pizza I have ever had from a pizza place thus far in my life--and to say that I am picky when it comes to pizza is an understatement. I come here somewhat regularly with my grandpa to share a pizza.

I go here because food is really good and affordable

Service was great!! Took my nephew there after his baseball game got there around 7:30pm order the buffet and the young gentlemen made everything fresh that we wanted it was wonderful.

From outside the place looked tiny but when we walked in, there's plenty of room for their dining area. This is the only East of Chicago pizza place that has a buffet. We drove from Cleveland area to go there! The staff was friendly & we got seated right away. Their buffet consisted of 2 soups (chicken noodle & broccoli cheese), a small salad bar with numerous toppings. The pizza part had 5-7 different kinds of pizza & hot baked subs to choose from. Plus, for dessert, it was cinnasticks drizzled with white frosting. The only thing that was very frustrating was being stared at by another table for most of our dining experience. It wasn't the locations fault so that's why I gave 5 stars. We would make the long travel to eat here again.

GREAT PIZZA, BUT SOMEBODY THERE STOLE THEIR RECIPE' FROM PIZZA "HUT"! SO IF YA LIKE PIZZA HUT YOU'LL LOVE THIS. IF YOU DON'T, STEAR CLEAR! AIN'T NO WAY SOMEBODY DIDN'T STEAL PIZZA HUT'S RECEIPE!!!

Best pizza and such friendly service everytime I go in! Always crunchy yet soft crust. The sauce is not too tart or too sweet, a perfect happy medium. And did I forget to mention that they have an all you can eat buffet.... Yummy!!
