i drove an hour to come to this amazing establishment and they did NOT disappoint!!! My vintage monolo blahnik boots had issues: the heel was broken, the leather was worn, and the suede body was dirty. I had a mission to bring these boots back to live a second life! i went to FOUR different cobblers…. and they all either couldn’t do it or were very rude to me. I was welcomed with kindness and understanding at Kenilworth Shoe service by my queen Amelia and especially the king of my life, Carlos. They went above and beyond to ensure that my boots were returned in perfect condition, all while being so pleasant and amazing to work with. Although i live in Wisconsin, i will definitely be returning to this amazing business! So much thanks and appreciation!

Carlos is the best! He and his team have done a great job fixing/repairing multiple types of shoes/problems for me, and each has turned out great. Great services and very reasonable pricing. Best shoe repair in the area!

He is the best! I have never had a pair of vintage (or new) shoes that haven’t been fixed here to be made look brand new. Highly recommend to everyone! Fixed heels, shines, and really finds a way to make any request work.

i cannot express enough how GRATEFUL AND HAPPY i am with the service i received at Kennilworth Shoe service. i got scammed on fb marketplace and my dream shoes came apart at the soles on the first wear. tried fixing them myself with salt and crazy glue (obviously didn’t work) so i brought them in hoping there was anything they could do to help. they EXCEEDED my expectations and the shoes look brand new after quite literally being ruined by me. cannot thank them enough, and will be bringing my shoes to them until i die. I brought in a pair of rubber soled Ferragamos that I couldn't get re-soled where I live in Canada. I was in the area for a few days a explained what I was looking for and offered to provide shipping to my PO Box near the border. Carlos had no problem making the repair and was able to complete the work before I left town, saving the shipping costs. The work looks great and Carlos ' service was excellent.

They always do an amazing job. I’ve taken multiple pairs of boots and flats here. I took a pair of very worn out flats for a new heel and he called me the next day to say, “you want to walk another 5,000 miles in these shoes right?” And recommended a few more improvements like a full re-sole. They look great and I really do think I could commute to work and teach in them for several more years now.

Over the past 4 years I have taken multiple pairs of tall riding boots here for repairs ranging from new zippers to new heels to patching worn areas that had turned into holes. Every time the jobs were done with impeccable workmanship and in a very timely manner (usually around 1 week). I usually budget 2 weeks for a fix so I never ask for any rush but they always offer and ask if I need it.

For some additional info, the pair they put new heels and zippers on recently were custom made $2k+ riding boots and they handled them with the utmost care. They came back looking way better than when I dropped them off and I thought I had polished them well haha

Boris is a pleasure to work with. He has owned this shop for over 40 years. For some higher quality items he will stitch them by hand! When I was there, he showed me some shoes he was working on and they looked beautiful with the new life they were given.

I took two pairs of Red Wing boots one to get resoled and the other to get cleaned and polished. Carlos and staff they did great job and paid a reasonable price.

Boris does great work, and he's an interesting guy to talk to. Don't be deterred by his shop. He's great!
