This place has fixed my my shoes that I love so much get a whole other lifetime out do them! High quality work!

Excellent job on a totally destroyed sneaker, I can't believe it! The heel was torn to shreds and I told the guy fixing them that I didn't care what it looked like but I wanted the fix to be super strong. I got leather inserts, stitched and glued, all for $20. I'm so happy because they don't make these any more and now I'm not scared that each wear will be my last. Couldn't be happier.

I loved my experience! They were professional and the shop itself charming. I went in soon after they opened, asking to replace the heels on a pair of shoes, assuming they would just change the treads/plastic tips. Instead, the pair came back that same day with fully new heels up to the sole of the shoe! He clearly knew what he was doing, as the shoes came back not only fixed but cleaned up, and at a reasonable price at that! Would highly recommend for service, efficiency, and quality.

This is the best place hands down in Evanston for shoe repair. The owner and all his family who work there are excellent at what they do and super responsive above and beyond ensuring you’re satisfied.

Used to go to Lou's in Skokie, now they ship EVERYTHING out for super high prices. Mike's did great work on 3pr for reasonable price. Good shop; good find.

Friendly people and great customer service. I had a leather belt that was too long and they punched a new hole for me in 5 minutes and for free. I'll be back with more stuff in the future.

The damaged shoes I brought in were repaired and ready for pick up in less than two days. The price for repair was very reasonable, the service was great, and the quality of work is excellent. I'm impressed and I'm usually a pretty tough critic.

I've used Mike's for over 35 years. Great service, very fair prices. Luggage, work boots, womens heels they do ot all. Had a pair of deck shoes and they said buy a new pair, these aren't worth fixing. Honest and fabulous!

They repaired my super sad leather boots for only $15 and made them look brand new again! Very speedy too. I didn't take cash but they let me take my boots anyway and come back later with the cash. Super chill!

Every time I've used Mike's I have had fabulous results! I just got home from having my 2011 Birkenstocks completely resoled and they are fabulous! Heck of a lot cheaper than a new pair of Birkies, and now my feet feel like they have their old friends back in place!

Really like this place. Service is great, I feel they're honest and understand their product well. Although extremely inconvenient from my home I still consider this my preferred travelpro repair center because service is so good.
