Wickies Lighthouse Restaurant

We are our way back within a week, absolutely phenomenal in every way. Had the blackened grouper and salmon, both were superb. Forgot to take a pic of the cheesecake, which was also delicious (slightly more cake like than most cheesecake, in a very good way). If they sold pitchers of the watermelon splash, I'd be in big trouble. All this and dog friendly outside (not a lot of outdoor tables, just a couple and a counter but good enough!). Great server, too! I think her name was Rebecca. Thank you Wickies, we will be back again and again ❤

Fantastic inspired food, great wait staff, great atmosphere, super bar and bartender making incredible drinks! - Went to a “soft opening”!! They officially open April 2 for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!! Owners used to have the fabulous Mad Hatter and Island Cow restaurants = loved for years.. this place is GREAT!! Everything And EVERYONE were wonderful. . Pear- Gorgonzola flat bread, DELICIOUS fig/ bourbon compote pork chop, even fingerling potatoes DELICIOUS. Soooo many drinks to pick from . This is the property that was once The Lighthouse Cafe- now freshened up, more airy but still comfy. Outside tables and bar seats- even with an outside drink window! Highly recommend! April 3- lunch- burger and fries great and turkey, Brie cheese, cranberry spinach wrap FANTASTIC!

We enjoyed an incredible three meals here this week. We had the blueberry pancakes twice!!! Upscale dining in a charming atmosphere. Our new favorite place on Sanibel. Just come, you won’t be disappointed. It was delish!!!

Food and service was absolutely amazing! We came for breakfast and each got something different and everything we got was perfect! Makayla was a great server and everyone in here made our experience great!

Also came in for dinner 2 nights in a row! Everything that we had looked and tasted amazing! Everyone that we spoke to was very happy and upbeat including Scotty and Rene! We will definitely be returning here on our next vacation to Sanibel!

Definitely the best breakfast around. Two weekends in a row and you knocked it out of the park each time. The Eggs Benedict was perfect and the Espresso Creme Brûlée French Toast that my wife had was decadent!!! We’ll be back again next weekend 😁🤗

Stopped by Wickie’s this morning for their new special - 4 pancakes, two eggs (any style), two bacon (or sausage) with fruit. If you think it looks good, wait till you try it!! I would expect to pay double on Sanibel, but this was all for $8!!! Delicious way to start your day, especially with a cup of coffee (or mimosa).
Top notch food, service and atmosphere!!

This place is so cute and right down the street from Lighthouse beach. Suprisingly they were not packed on Saturdat morning which was nice. We had waffles and french toast and we had enough left overs to take with us. Coffee was hot and fresh and the menu prices were very reasonable for such a touristy area. Go check them out.

Robin was absolutely a doll and gave us the best recommendations for things to do on sanibel as well. The food was incredible and the stuffed shrimp special was amazing! Definitely worth hopping over for.

I had the My blue pancakes that were so good with the blueberry sauce and my husband had the chicken and waffles. What a wonderful place. Took a look at the lunch and dinner menu and we will be back!!

Crab cakes are excellent... pear gorgonzona flatbed was delicious... the mango mojito was fantastic.

We liked the food & view at Mad Hatter, but the place was tiny & you sometimes felt too cramped. We were thrilled to learn that this place was a collaboration between the Mad Hatter & Island Cow. Tonight, we had some of our favorite dishes from previous years & some great new ones. Our server Robyn & the other staff were amazing. We really liked the interior which is clean & cozy without feeling cramped. We’ll be back to try breakfast & lunch.

Laurie, who has been a favorite of ours from many years at the Mad Hatter happened to be our server. As always, she was delightful and walked us through the menu. Food was fantastic (we understand the Mad Hatter executive chef is here now).

This place is well worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Finally, although it was way too early for a cocktail, the nicely decorated bar, should be a welcome spot for a cocktail before dinner or a cold beer during lunch. Seriously…don’t miss this place.

After 9 visits, Wikies has never produced a bad meal. This kitchen and chefs/cooks are outstanding. With a Pleasant atmosphere, prompt pleasant service, wickies is a great stop when you’re visiting the East end of sanibel, or a destination for a great meal

I was really looking forward to eating here on my next visit to Sanibel, and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent! We went for brunch on Sunday. I had the seafood omelette (with the ingredients actually inside the omelette, not just on top like some restaurants do), my husband had the chicken salad sandwich, one kiddo got chicken and waffles, and the other the fruit plate. We all really enjoyed our meal. We will definitely eat here again while we are here.

I rarely do a 5 star but this place was great. We will be back. Small inside with island beach theme. Mar, our server, was personable and informative. Food was fantastic! Husband had fig bacon burger that had a great flavor combo and taste. Cooked perfectly. I had the Lobster Cargot which was outstanding. I’m told the crab cake are great also.

We decided to go here last minute for breakfast. Makayla was so sweet and upbeat. I got the avocado toast, and it was hands down the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles, and he said they were AMAZING. The smile I had on my face leaving was worth the price.

Beautiful, fresh and interesting menu items and fantastic, friendly service. Parking is easy and convenient. Not beachfront, but the quality of the food definitely makes up for it. Ice cream next door is a must if you have room, we look forward to visiting again!

Dinner was excellent! Our waitress, Robin, the service, and food were great. It is such a nice restaurant, and we were happy to support a local business related to The Island Cow and The Mad Hatter.
