Simonton Beach Key West

Great little beach spot where you’ll find friendly locals and tasty food right there. Seating is free, except for the loungers, but then only $15/day. It was quite relaxing. We ended up going two days in a row. The pier was a nice spot for my daughter’s pictures.

This was an unexpected find. We were on the south side by the Most Southern Point and the beaches there were dirty, windy, dark sand churning in the water and tons of seaweed. I decided we should try the north side of the island. Simonton Street took us right into this nice beach. Small but clean water, low winds and nice people. There's a bar on the beach, chairs rent for $15 per day. Parking is good and at $5/hour.

It's was cool. It's a little section of beach area to get in and cool off. Really crowded when I went on a Saturday. Water and sand was sooooo clean. I loved it!

Nice little beach with a great view of Wisteria Island, also known as Christmas Tree Island. There are lounge chairs with umbrellas for rent, $15 all day, provided by the bar. The small pier is perfect for jumping in the ocean. There is a free parking lot and kayak rack. As well as a place to lock up your bicycle. Very nice spot to watch the sunset, and ground with our beautiful mother Earth.

Perfect beach for me. Small but no rocks to get over to get into the water. Lagerheads right here for food and drinks. We loved it.

This beach was actually much cooler in temperature than the others I've been too on the island. It was clean and beautiful.

Stop by every time we are in Key West. Love the Beach, Food & Drinks. Staff are always helpful and a delight to talk with.

Nice small beach area. You have to rent certain chairs at the restaurant Lagerheads nearby. They are very nice and will tell how what's available and what has to be paid for. Also recommend them for drinks and food!

Great little beach, clear water and barely any seaweed on the shore. What more could I ask for. There is an abundant amount of adults drinking alcohol so I wouldn't recommend bringing your child here.

More of a locals place to celebrate the sunset in Key West. A little drink shack named Lager Head and a small beach where you can rent a lounger and watch the sunset. There is also a narrow concrete Pier to stand on. The views are awesome.

Great little piece of public beach that offers food & drinks just a few steps away. Water is great for the kids & there are no dogs allowed.

We really enjoyed this place. So much that we went here twice during our short vacation. It's off the beaten path so it's not so loud and touristy. The food was good, especially the chilled conch ceviche.

We wanted a nearby beach during our cruise stop. Walking distance to the port. Small but nice, refreshing beach.

Great, little beach. There were about 40/50 people there at the time we were there and it didn't feel crowded. Crystal clear water. There will be some small pebbles under foot, so if that's going to make you uncomfortable, wear water shoes. There's a beach bar nearby with a bathroom available. So convenient. Can't say enough good things. It's like we found a hidden gem.

Lagerheads is a MUST visit in Key West. Food is awesome and the Pirates Punch is the best
