Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen

I loved the food. It’s very filling. Loved the biscuits! Could eat 10 of them. The French toast weren’t good to me. They taste more like bread instead of French toast. I also wished the chicken tenders were more crunchier. Overall food was great and fresh. It’s not a long wait time to get your order.

The food is excellent. I have never ordered off of the menu, I usually get the buffet each time I visit. The service is friendly and fast. They really have an excellent salad bar. One thing that I like about the food is that it is not highly seasoned. I do not like a lot of salt in my food because I do my best to stay healthy. Some may consider the food bland but they are plenty of condiments on the table to spice it up however you like it. The cleanliness and the lack of excessive salt in the food makes it far healthier for those who are trying to maintain excellent health. You can get a good vegetable plate or meat, whatever your preference at the buffet. I have never had breakfast there, only lunch and dinner but if the breakfast is as good as the lunch and dinner, it also would be excellent.

Very good cooked country food. Alot to choose from on salad bar. Fried chicken was awesome. Chicken dressing very good also. Good sweet tea. Lima beans, collards, Mac cheese, Cole slaw, salmon patties, corn bread, apple cobbler. It was all good.

We have been on vacation all week in South Florida . We came home and decided to go to the Safari Park at Pine Mountain. We were leaving and just wanted some home cooking. We stopped by Eddie Mae's right at quitting time and they still let us in. It was buffet style and everything was delicious. If we had one closer to home, it would be our weekly place.

Eddie's did have a buffet but they close that at 2pm. I had the 12oz hamburger steak with fries and vegetable of the day. Steak was tasty. Fries were crisp and also tasty. Vegetables were kinda soggy but good. All in all it was just a smidgen above average from the usual country cooking place. Service was great but I got here around 4 o'clock so it wasn't busy yet. I will come back if I am in the area again.

Good old fashioned country buffet! These businesses are vanishing fast. Finding one of the classics is heart warming. Small town America used to have a restaurant like this in every town. Can't wait for our next vacation in Pine Mountain Georgia!

Loved this place! Great service and wonderful food at a reasonable cost. Went on Sunday and ate from the buffet. The turkey and gravy over mashed potatoes was my fav!!

Wonderful buffet style restaurant. Even though we arrived at closing time, we were warmly welcomed in and seved like close friends, even though we were just passing through after visiting Callaway Gardens. Excellent food and service.

First visit here and Beth our waitress was awesome! We took her suggestion for breakfast and we were not disappointed. We will be back.

Amazing BEST! Only place that I have ever been to where you get grits in a bowl with egg!!! I thought I was a little girl on my aunt’s farm! This is a true gem in Pine Mountain! We WILL be back during our stay! The prices will shock you! What a great value!! Friendly staff! There should be one in every town!!

We very much enjoyed eating at Eddie Mae's. We didn't go through the buffet line, but it looked hearty and delicious. We had the eggs plate, which was flawless.

1. The grits are made fresh each morning. These are not Quaker quick grits. If you've had a hankering for a decent bowl of grits, come here.
2. The bacon was thick, crispy and perfectly cooked. The country ham and sausage patties were also on the mark.
3. The biscuits were exactly what you expect from freshly made biscuits

The restaurant itself is a no-apologies, rustic approach to solid food. They don't stand on ceremony, and the wait staff are professional and friendly.

Bathrooms are clean. "Nuff said.

If you're in the area to visit Callaway Gardens or for any other reason, stopping by Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen is a must.

Loved this place! They have a buffet, but I chose to order their Swiss A Nee burger, & it was one of those truly handmade, home style burgers that you almost can't find anymore. Service was excellent too! My friend got the buffet, and she said it was a taste of our childhood (we both grew up in the south).

We had the two egg breakfast with biscuits and gravy. The food was delicious and the service was really good. Very convenient to FDR State Park campground.

Food and service are always on point! Happy employees, always willing to grab you whatever you need,a dropped piece of silverware to an extra coffee creamer! We stop often. Breakfast is terrific! Give em a try! We love them! Everything is tasty from meatloaf to fried chicken! Apple or peach cobbler!
